This is a follow up from yesterday's review. Today I went to the restaurant to bring my untouched food back. The young girl in the front was very kind and sweet to me. She felt bad about the words used to me. Also, she asked me if I wanted my money back. I said no, just have it made correctly, that's all I wanted from the beginning. She apologized, which was the right thing to do and if it was done from the beginning I wouldn't have written a bad review. Now that my food was made the way I needed it to be, it was definitely worth the drive to the restaurant. It was delicious! I'll be ordering from them often and if I have any other issues, (which I'm not planning on having), I will know who to discuss the issue with!!! Damn shame. This had been my go to spot for years, and ordered from here a ton, but after tonight, never again. Order 3 meals and a lo mein for my daughter who is picky. Told 45 mins. Fine, all good, i get it. Food is here in a bit more than 45, tip $8 on a $42 bill and the place is about a mile from the house. Meals are there, lo mein missing. Wife calls in, and she is given attitude and basically called a liar. Said they cant deliver for another 45 minutes or credit the account. First off, YOU fucked up, not us, 0 reason for the attitude and ridiculous to have to wait another 45 mins. Wife tells them to credit the account because it will be 930 by the time it arrives. Not good enough. I called up and told them to send someone out tonight, and got an attitude. Guess what, you just lost a loyal long time customer who orders quite a bit. read more

We have been ordering from here for over 10 years. It's very hard for them to understand English. We placed an order and when it came the whole,order was messed up and food was missing. When I called them back they said what do,you want me to do about it. They were very rude and nasty and it was their error as usual. I will no longer be going to this place anymore as their customer skills stink they are extremely rude and can't handle the business when it gets busy. A very disappointed customer. read more

Food is delicious, price is also great and they don't take long to prepare the food items.

My second time ordering, I was recommended by a colleague. I'm so glad I gave this place a try bc the food is amazing didn't get a chance to take a picture! Love the wonton soup and their cheese wontons! I usually get chicken and broccoli and it's by far the best from anything local I've had. Service is also great, super fast deliveries as well! They say 35 mins but it was definitely quicker than expected, I was surprised. The delivery guy was also very nice! read more

I had a taste for some lobster Cantonese and this is the only place that makes it with the shell on in are area. Well the lobster was very fresh and tasted like lobster but there lobster sauce left a lot to be desired it was Bland and tasteless which basically ruined the whole dinner. But it wasn't a total Loss their steamed dumplings and won ton soup was delicious and so was the pork fried rice. I would order from there again but I'll stay away from their lobster sauce because the rest of their food it's pretty good read more

The food is excellent here. Very fresh. Their boneless ribs, fried dumplings, garlic shrimp and wonton egg drop soup are my favorites. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I had a few other dishes that were not so great. All in all a really good take out place. read more

I live local and I haven't been there in a long time and the food was excellent upon returning I just started going back as opposed to other takeouts in the area which I will not mention Go for it the general Taos was great I felt as if they were not frozen and they had a lot of chicken and less Fry on it read more

Definitely best Chinese food in the area, which is not saying too much since nothing really is down here. However, I am never disappointed with their food. It's a little greasy, but what Chinese food isn't? Also, online ordering. Does it get any better? Definitely will continue to order from here. hate to give a bad review because the food is and service were good. but they now have an employee who seems cleanliness challenged. I eat here a few times a week and am hoping I can find a place with food as good. I am not excessively concerned with cleanliness but the multiple sneeze and failure to wash is a little much. I was uncomfortable with this character delivering my food but now to my horror they have him cooking. sorry but as long as he's there I will go elsewhere. some folk just have a dirty aura about them, After watching him cook deservingly so. read more

Was disappointed with my lunch order. I ordered the General Tso with white rice. The chicken is supposed to be crispy with white meat inside. It was soft, gluey like with small pieces of dark meat, mostly dough. read more

I ordered the family share meals plus 1 combo to be sure 4 of us (26.99 )would be full & we were extremely disappointed. They gave us lunch portion size meals that we could barely share & it cost me 5 dollars more to upgrade my rice to pork fried. Since we never been here, we lived on a prayer & hoped our $45 meal was llworth th 50 min wait even though they were 3 mins down our road. (Montauk hwy). Yes, (50 mins & ordered at 3 in the afternoon) The food was barely warm and tasteless especially the rice, soups, chicken general tsos chicken (all syrup), boneless spareribs($8.60) dried out like jerky meat, bland wonton & tainted sour soup, pork lo mein, ....basically everything was an extreme dissappointment and on top if it i tipped the person who came to my door $10 bucks for us to be wishing we ordered Wah wah Kitchen. The food is good, but the service is not the best. We called and placed our order on the phone, and came home with things missing. We ordered steamed chicken and broccoli, only the chicken was sent and charged, $8. I then had to pay another $5 just for broccoli, when the combination is $5.50. I paid $10.00. I have been coming to Sunrise Kitchen every Sunday night for the past 2 1/2 years. Prices are normal for a takeout place but the portion size and quality of the food is fantastic. I honestly can't remember getting something that wasn't excellent. They either have the same chef for the past two years or they have trained other chefs to cook their dishes exactly the same way. The food is above average however the Asian lady that answers the phone and runs the counter for take out orders is always very rude often hanging up before you even finish speaking. If you can get past that the potions are generous and the food has good flavor. Not too greasy. read more
