My partner had an extremely negative experience today while out on the charter boat. He and the…read moreonly other black person (his friend) were being bullied continuously by a crew member named Zack. Apparently Zack was hyper focused on them almost the entire time, moving their equipment around without asking, hovering over them, ordering them around, and even openly made fun of my partner for the noises he made while using the bathroom! This was obviously targeted as my partner had observed over the trip that no one else on the boat was being treated this way. A different crew member had actually noticed this as well and agreed with my partner about Zack's behavior. To me this is insanely unacceptable to have someone like this on a boat crew that hosts people. My partner was super excited for this trip, he spent a lot of money for him and his friends to go and put in a lot of effort to make the trip happen. It's not often he does stuff for himself and he was really looking forward to it. After he came home he was just about in tears talking about it. It really hurts to see someone you care about look so crushed. My partner is a kind, friendly, and respectful person and did not do anything to deserve this kind of treatment. I'm really disappointed and angry for him and his experience. Aside from that - his experience with the rest of the crew and Captain J was great. Thank you Captain J for hearing him out afterward. I strongly recommend getting rid of this guy before he messes things up for your business and continues to hurt people. It's complete BS for this kind of thing to happen to not just a respectful paying customer but someone who didn't do anything but be black. Come on.

She was so sweet and we enjoyed having conversations with her. We had 1 bar tender for the night and he was awesome with service, especially with 55 of us! The food was also surprisingly delicious! I was expecting a cold meal since we're on a boat but everything was cooked to perfection! We booked a photo booth and DJ through Horn Blower as well, and both vendors also exceeded our expectations!! This past trip was for Salmon and it started out rough, I forgot our boots, it started out choppy so my mom stayed inside ( we did not want to risk a fall for her). The captain got us into calmer water and into some schools of Salmon. Chef Mark was my biggest hype man, John helped me get rigged up( Salmon set up is heavy!!! But they will help you)! Now once I had a fish on Mason had to hold the rod so I could reel!!!! Ive never need help getting fish to the boat but boy these fish were heavy and fighting. Im just talking now because I had such a good time. Sore but happy. Remember like all fishing its fishing not catching. Not all trips end in success but they do everything they can to help you have a fun and successful trip. It was also a wonderful whale watching day!
