This place should be closed down and not allowed to use door dash ever. They are disrespectful to customers. They are disrespectful to dashers. They are disrespectful to the food. We waited for an hour for the food. I called to ask if I can at least get it myself and they denied me to get my dinner even though door dash allows this policy. There was one dasher ready to get it but the food was set to preparing by restaurant and they didn't want to give my food to either dasher. The restaurant is pure garbage in terms of attitude. I'd like to begin by stating that I am not one for reviews but sharing my experience today is necessary, hopefully you can avoid the waiting for food to be delivered to only receive poor food quality and rude customer service. Simply put, don't even waste your time. My order was very simple (french fries and chicken wings with a ginger ale) and ordered via Uber eats - where I indicated in the notes "please poke holes in the container so that the fries don't get soggy". First thing I noticed when I opened the bag and see the container - no poked holes. Okay, fine. I open the container and what do I find? Burnt food. The fries and the wings were burnt, crispy. Now, I know I have to go through Uber for a refund but I was genuinely curious as to why an food service establishment would think its appropriate to serve burned food. I give them a call and politely, kindly provide my information and ask why they would think it's okay to send off food that has been overcooked and not follow the instructions. Oh! not to mention, the ginger ale was HOT, it was as if it was never refrigerated and taken right out the box. I asked why would they send a hot drink. He got upset and rudely told me he cannot see notes (which isn't true, many of us have used notes when making an order via Uber Eats and restaurants usually comply - but he doesn't for some reason based on a previous review here on google - see for yourself) and that I should take up my issue up with Uber. As if Uber cooked the food. No apologies, no effort to make things right - just pure unprofessionalism, burned food and unrefrigerated soda. Yes, I was able to get a refund for my food but that doesn't take away from the fact that I waited nearly an hour for the food only to be disappointed by both the food and the customer service. Don't even waste your time. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call to improve their food quality and customer service if they want to build long-term customer loyalty and a decent reputation. This is a standard Chinese food takeout restaurant. They offer the usual selection of combination platters. Their combos are served with rice, an egg roll, and either soup or soda. I appreciated that they offered a veggie egg roll as an alternative, however, it didn't make sense that they charged $1 extra for this option. I ordered the broccoli in garlic sauce with fried rice. We are not able to comment on the food because we have never found the store open. We were there Saturday after 1 PM, doors were locked. There are menus on the door, and the menu indicates open Fri & Sat 10:30 am. We returned again on Sunday, after 1 PM, same scenario. We called twice, leaving a message that we would like to know their hours. No one called back. We called again tonight, after 8 pm. Lady said they close at 9:30. She did not know what time they opened. She passed the phone to a gentleman. We asked what their hours are every day. His response: "Should be one the website". We asked if he could tell us on the phone. He repeated "Should be on the website." OK. The website indicates Saturday open 11 am; Sunday open 1 pm. For us, this restaurant is THUMBS DOWN. read more

This is my go-to Chinese take-out in the area. The boneless spare rib combo (L44) is always tasty, though the amount of fat on the pork is very hit or miss. Sometimes very lean, other times fatty. The egg rolls are surprisingly less greasy than other CTO's in the area, and the fried rice is fluffy, fresh and delish! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I placed an order ahead of time so that lunch would be at a reasonable time prior to the late holiday dinner. My order was cancelled with no explanation. I contacted the restaurant that stated my order was picked up call Uber Eats. I called Uber Eats and stated the restaurant was closed and apologized. I called the restaurant back regarding a refund and was told that has to come from Uber Eats because someone picked up the order. Another call to Uber Eats that spoke to the driver who DID NOT pick up my order and was informed the refund process has to be initiated by the restaurant and then it takes up to 5 business days to be refunded. 2 hours and 13 minutes later, I don't have lunch for my family, lost $45, and the restaurant has so kindly stopped answering the phone. Friendly! Fast! Good bang for the buck! Having just moved to the area from NYC (where there are tons of Chinese food spots), it's a great place to fill that void! Friendly staff, easy to place a to-go order and grab it after you get off the train, and a large selection of items. But I feel like I need to warn other potential customers that your online order may be cancelled with no word from the restaurant or delivery.com I'm a simple man. After a 14 hour double shift, all I was craving was some greasy lo mein. Nothing fancy, just some noodles, veggies, and calories. I ordered from the very convenient option on yelp around 7PM and was told that my order is on it's way. Awesome! I sit back, crack open a cold one, and zone out for 30 mins... then 60 mins... then 90 mins... My stomach is growling incessantly. I have a headache from not eating for many hours. I'm ravenous. I call the restaurant.... and nothing. I call the yelp service and apparently the restaurant cancelled my order because they decided to close early. No problem normally. There are plenty of other delivery options in the area. Except now it's after 9:30PM and I need to be back at work in less than 7 hours. Now I'm angry, and hungry, and sleepy. I don't expect perfection. If you need to close early, I get it. But at the very least send me a 5 word email or a 15 second phone call letting me know. Surprising good Cantonese restaurant located on the corner of Broadway in the downtown area of Valhalla. Lunch specials are a deal, $5.69 gets you free soup and egg roll or vegetable roll and a free soda, which they will let you sub with a bottle of water. They also have a $7.69 combo platter. The restaurant never seems busy inside and the tables never seemed filled up. Their business is takeout..the downtown of Valhalla is only a few blocks. They have a really good shrimp lo mein, with perfectly cooked chewy egg noodles and strips of Chinese cabbage and loaded with shrimp in a sauce that is not laden with oil. But alas, their idea of a pint is the small foil tin that isn't quite a pint. Their shrimp egg rolls are excellent so that even when I don't have business in Valhalla I think of them. Crispy, loaded with whole small shrimp and just remarkably tasty, these crunchy delights are best eaten hot out of the fryer, and loaded with duck sauce. I work in Valhalla NY and this was the first place I ordered from and I never have stopped since. My normal order is the Crab Rangoon and Steamed shrimp and broccoli with white sauce with brown rice. and it's always fresh and the shrimp is properly cleaned. Their boneless spare ribs are to live for as well. I also like the fact that the minimum to order is 10 dollars to be delivered and the guys are really nice who deliver just make sure you give them a tip or they will kindly let you know they aren't having it. The only thing is there egg rolls are really greasy and taste old. I also have sampled other dishes and I didn't really care for them I am a creature of habit so I order the same thing over and over, so that prevents me from being disappointed. read more
