Loved my meal! I ordered chicken and sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and it was amazing. Perfect for the cold weather. Simple yet tasteful flavors. I asked, since I started working and couldn't come back, can someone walk across the street to give it to me? I was told no, due to deep cleaning. You weren't deep cleaning when I walked in. I've been living in hartsdale for over 15 years and how I've never been here has amazed me. This restaurant has very authentic Asian food and is very delicious!! Usually when I have beef I find it hard to stomach it as the flavor can be too strong but the beef here was amazing! It had a nice flavor and I found it as one of my favorites of the night alongside the fried rice which was sooo good, we added chicken and it was very delightful. The soup was a little on the spicy side as expected and had beef and noodles inside, very good! My brother really enjoyed the soup. We got pork with veggie dumplings and yum!! We enjoyed our dinner here the other night. We had 3 different kinds of dumplings (pork and crab soup), (steamed vegetable and chicken), and pan fried pork buns. Each of them was really good and came out fresh and hot! We got yaki udon to try something we hadn't had before, and I wouldn't recommend this. The udon was cooked really well but the dish wasn't flavorful at all. We also got a Thai iced tea which wasn't as sweet as I prefer. The inside is nice. They have tables that include the hot plate so the box is right above your legs making it uncomfortable to sit. Our server was pretty friendly but the people who brought out the food weren't friendly. Overall my experience was positive and I'd go back for dumplings and to try a new main dish. read more

This place is so relaxing, you walk in and are greeted by really kind staff. I never felt rushed and had time to think about what i was going to order. Hits the good notes: predominantly Chinese clientele, legitimately authentic menu that consists of dishes from different regions of China, and a few common Americanized dishes for your less adventuresome friends to sample. Parking is a bit tight, but the interior of the restaurant is spacious and modern. Wait staff is attentive and present, so it doesn't take long to get someone's attention if you need something. Prices are a touch high for some dishes-- a plate of five dumplings will set you back about $6 on average, but the food is tasty and you don't feel hungry at the end of the meal. All in all, a very nice experience. The restaurant fills up on the weekend around 1pm, with a short wait. The area by the door can't hold many people, so on rainy days you may be waiting outside. I go to Fantasy Cuisine on a weekly basis. I personally think it's one of the best Chinese food places in the area. Unfortunately, my food last night had a metal wire in it, similar to another experience described here on September 19, 2020. The wire was about an inch long and I feel swallowing something like that could lead to serious injury. I noticed the business owner addressed the other experience by explaining that it came from a cleaning utensil. He also mentioned "remedial customer relations training". Frankly, customers are not looking for promises of customer relations training. They're looking for assurances that fundamental safety procedures will be followed. Even if a staff member had explained to a customer that it was part of a cleaning utensil, it would still not address the obvious issue that this sort of thing should never happen. You just don't leave metal wires in woks -- the larger ones should be easy to spot and the smaller ones are more of a swallowing hazard. Either way, leaving metal wires in woks is not a thing. I love the food at Fantasy Cuisine. I honestly don't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with any food served there. However, this lapse in judgment has me questioning what changes I need to see in order to feel safe coming back. I'm not looking to go to a hospital during a pandemic. Actually, I'm not looking to go to a hospital at all. Without the metal wire, Fantasy Cuisine is great: - It's handling COVID pretty well. All my takeout orders are on time and freshly made. The staff members all wear masks and takeout is organized well. - The food tastes good, is consistently made, and is reasonably priced. I see some people complaining about extra charges for rice. Even accounting for the rice, Fantasy Cuisine is still reasonably priced and more economical than its competitor across the street. - The staff members are all accommodating and the service has been pretty good for me. I've been coming to Fantasy Cuisine for years and some of the staff members are still around. That's pretty cool. Long story short, I really like Fantasy Cuisine. I just hope they can take a more direct and effective approach with safety. read more
