This lack of transparency is unprofessional and shows a disregard for the time and effort candidates invest in your recruitment process. After the final interview I was told they would make a decision the following week. I heard nothing back for over 2 weeks so I called and left a voicemail for Linda. When I did not get a return call in more than a week, it was clear that I did not get the job for whatever reason but I still wanted confirmation. I sent Linda an email and she finally replied that they had advised her nearly a week prior that another candidate had been chosen. I suppose taking 5 minutes to compose an email or return a phone call is too much to ask. It's also incredibly unprofessional. I get that ghosting candidates has become somewhat of the sad norm in this job market but I would personally never again interview with S&S Manufacturing or Meador Staffing.
