This is our go to place for cashew chicken! Definitely worth the 15 to 20 minute drive from our house and the owners are always super nice.

The food was pretty good at this hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. You order at the front counter and they bring the food out to you. Drinks are self serve with free refills. There were quite a few customers who picked up their food. The dining area was somewhat rundown but it wasn't bothersome. The fluorescent lighting was bright and some of the seats were well worn. The food is fresh and the service is quick and kind. It is delicious and probably the best rangoons in the area.

If you follow my reviews, you know that when I try a new Chinese restaurant I order Hot and Sour Soup and General Tso's Chicken. The lunch special comes with two Crab Rangoon and an Egg Roll. I could rate 4 star, but after only one visit I can only give 3. Will update after my next visit. Crab Rangoon, C pre-made frozen Egg Roll, C pre-made frozen Better than average Hot and Sour Soup, but nothing special. I would order again. General Tso's Chicken, better than most but still not great. They did add red chili peppers so A+ for that. Most Springfield Chinese restaurant do not add. In this case, it was for show, no additional spicy was imparted into the recipe. Fried chicken was just that fried and chicken. I would recommend this restaurant, but do not have high expectations. I have eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed my food. My favorite items include the Americanized lemon chicken... pretty basic but still very tasty and the shrimp toast. For those unfamiliar with shrimp toast, you grind up shrimp,spices and veggies then mold it onto toast points then deep fry the whole thing. It's not the healthiest food in the world but darn tasty and new House is the only place I know of in town that makes it. Others items I have enjoyed are the orange chicken and Singapore noodles. The staff has always been friendly and the food through the drove thru fast and always correct. It is located on a busy street so getting in and out o& the parking lot can be a little hectic but I then I the food is worth it. read more

Omg, I can barely move right now. Portions are very generous, we have enough for lunch tomorrow. General chicken is spot on, my husband ordered a large size and to his shock couldn't finish it all. My younger girls are very picky and yet they wolfed down the shrimp lo mein and kept asking for more. My oldest son and I shared the Seafood Worbar and the Dragon and Phoenix between us. Truly fantastic. Veggies are light and perfectly cooked. I would recommend during this pandemic to order well in advance of when you want to actually eat, because delivery is totally swamped right now. For a city who is well known for it's Cashew and sweet n sour chicken this is low on the list. There was NO SOUR in the Sweet n Sour. I asked for cashews and spring onions which didn't happen and the chicken was tough. Drive past and go to Five Spice on the South side. read more

Most of my reviews on Yelp are negative. If I were to write positives reviews, there would be a lot. I just checked into my hotel and was looking for near by restaurants. I decided to try this because it had 3.5...which is kind of rare for Chinese restaurants. First of all, it's run by Vietnamese not actual Chinese people. With that being said, they should've just stuck to Vietnamese cuisines (food was disgusting). Then they also messed up my orders. Instead of chow mein, they gave me "fried rice". I looked like rice cooked in soy sauce. I ordered beef and broccoli and they gave me beef cooked in mainly all veggies. Orange chicken looked like frozen fried chicken nuggets tossed in a soup of orange sauce. I took a couple bites and tossed everything out. I've eaten a lot at Chinese restaurants all over the states and I'm sad to say that this restaurant is no where close to a 3.5 nor coming close to Chinese food. read more
