Not full on KFC seasoning....but has much more flavor than other places chicken coating. The sauce is darker and richer tasting. All and all...it was good and the chicken used is very good quality. Crab Rangoon: These had sat around a little. But they go more on the sweet side and were decent enough. Egg Roll: Again, a good rendition of an egg roll. All and all...a neat and clean place. TV: timed in to kids programming and loud at any point and time. Kids: the daughter is quite enough. But the son talks out loud....saying what he's seeing on TV....non-stop....and I mean non-stop. And he is loud, fast talking....and oh, did I say loud? And this is how this place was on this visit. Read my other review, where the owner; which was our waiter one time in the past; never put the daughter down; as he took our order or served us. And the daughter was sick and a snotty nose that was snorting around like all get out! Service: They are never organized or attentive at all to the sit in customers. Tables always sit dirty. And if you eliminate the two tables...the owner's kids dominate...I think that only leaves (4) total tables to manage. And I sit there...and see multiple Door Dash orders get messed up and/or take forever. This last time, a Dasher left after waiting forever. The new owners may be nice or well intended. But...they have ruined this place...for all the wrong reasons.

I travel a fair amount for work and on occasion after a long day I just want to order take out and…read morerelax in my hotel room. On my recent trip to Springfield, MO I had a craving for Chinese food. I used Uber Eats to find the highest rated spot in the area and was happy to see they had one of my go to meals, Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. I ordered the combination dinner which comes with Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. I had a sweet tooth and gave their Almond Cookies a try as well. The order arrived fast and fresh, thanks to my delivery driver Jeffery. The portions were very generous, the food was hot and very tasty. I'd say it's one of the better Egg Foo Young's and Sauces I've had from a Chinese restaurant. The Fried Rice was fresh and the Egg Roll was well stuffed, crispy and had a great taste. For dessert I had Almond Cookies, they were the perfect sweetness to top off a good meal. My fortune cookie fortune was fitting for the week of business meetings I was conducting. Overall it was just what I was looking for a stay in dinner. I'd check out China King on West Republic Road again next time I'm craving Chinese in Springfield.
