I…read morewanted lots of volume in my hair so I asked for lots of layers and not once I saw her sectioning my hair, elevating the hair or cross checking. I thought it was weird that she didn't do that. She didn't even provide me with a mirror to show me how it looked in the back when the cut was finished. I only found out the cut was choppy when I washed my hair a few days after. I can't remember if I got my hair washed or not. The price was ok that's why I decided to try her out, but really it's not worth it. I'll just shell out the regular price for a good haircut.

Come the day of the appointment, Sandy was ready to work her magic. She looked through my inspo photos to get an idea of the color and cut that I was going for. I was going for a low maintenance, no bleach, subtle brunette balayage. For the haircut, I was going to wispy side swept bangs and long layers with a slightly shorter length. Sandy worked her magic with thinning and cutting my hair, coloring it, washing it, then styling it. At the end, she checked again to make sure there wasn't anything else to correct cut-wise. Sandy keeps the appointment fun and enjoyable. I love chatting with her during my appointment! Hacienda Hair Care is still my go-to, highly recommended salon that I keep going back to over the years! The hair stylists here are amazing at their craft, be it hair cutting or coloring. They are efficient and don't try to upsell you any products or services. They also have ideas of what color or style looks good on you if you have no idea what you want to do. Through the years, I've had my hair done by Nikki, Sandy, and Yoo Mee. I can say that they consistently provide good quality work for a really good price (especially nowadays) every time I stop in to get my hair done! For payment, they accept cash or Zelle. Parking right in front of their shop can be limited. I usually prefer to park in the shared lot area, so there's more space.
