Visited home and I've been long overdue for a haircut/trim. Was recommended to Tere's beauty salon by my mom because of her pricing and good work. I decided to finally give the place a try. My mom typically has her hair cut by Tiffany, so I called the salon and made a same day appointment with Tiffany. She was prompt and on time. She listened to my preference -- long layered haircut with sideswept bangs. The sideswept bangs came out the perfect length. For the rest of my hair, she tied it up in a low pony tail and used an electric shaver to get my hair to the length I had wanted, then cut some of the outer layer of hair a bit shorter to achieve the "layered" look. I'm personally not a fan of hairdressers using electric shavers on my hair because it typically causes more split ends, but it did make the haircut go a lot faster. I also wish she did a better job with blending in the bluntness of the cut from the electric shaver because there was a lot of "choppy" layers at the end, which I didn't notice until I washed my hair at home. Overall, I got what I wanted -- a cheap and quick haircut that doesn't cost as much as in the bay area. read more

Worst hair experience I've ever had. I showed an inspo picture and got nothing like what I asked. My hair is now yellow blonde grey and silver. They also broke my hair with the bleach. They were nice until I told them it wasn't okay my hair was ruined. She said I asked for lighter hair which I did but why would I be okay with my hair falling off ? She was sending me home with wet hair because she claimed my hair needed a break but never told me my hair was damaged until I checked myself. She also tried to say if I wash my hair it will blend together? In what world would that happen. This place is a joke please save your hair. read more

They were a bit rude, I felt rushed, she filed on my nail to much that she cut my skin by my nail, what really did it for me was how much they charged me for this work. I recently got the hair straightening treatment done at this beauty salon and i do not have any complaints towards it. After my first washes my hair is still feeling healthy plus its still straight i love it! Tiffany you are amazing and also your colleague that was helping out also with my hair! Don't know where to begin. Found them on line and mom wanted hair color to match her existing color just wanted a touch up. Color came out way darker and she was very unhappy - that cost $35.00. Secondly I asked if they had powder for nails they didn't so asked to remove powder and do gel instead. I had recently had a set of nails with pink and white French manicure -I had been very happy with my nails but needed a fill. They had me soak fingers in acetone which literally melted the acrylic nails! When I brought to their attention they blamed me saying I told them to remove them! They were new why would I do that. They kept blaming me but said would do manicure for free and gel. Well my nails came out so horrible I was so upset I am attaching a picture. Three of us came in, two of us have very curly coarse African hair, and one guy with shaved sides and coarse long top hair. We walked in one hour to close and all of us were done 15 minute before closing! They are fast and very accurate! She was very clear with what she is doing and checks in regularly. Tiffany, who is the owner of the business is the one to go to! She has taken care of me since 2014, recently moved to Santa Barbara County and still only come down here for her! She is that great! Just today she helped a woman who made a special appointment with Lupe one of the hairdressers, who also said she was the only in the business to style hair(not true as I've been styled by Tiffany too), and the hairdresser did not show up, was not answering her calls or bothered to cancel the appointment, (which to me is very unprofessional), the woman was so distraught as this was an important even to her and made the appointment on Tuesday, I asked Tiffany if she could help the client as she had nowhere else to go and Tiffany took time from her busy schedule to style her and she left happily and beautiful. Acts like that is what makes my entire family come to Tiffany, family from Fullerton, and even Arizona! She has great knowledge, techniques and feedback. okay, about a couple of days in denial... i have to admit my hair was ruined! my hair was so uneven after it dried, that was after i already left the salon. yes, they sprayed my hair wet to cut it, but no blow dry after the haircut. so, you don't really know how it's going to turn out. the layers were so uneven, it looks like i have a voluminous medium bob cut with at least 4-5 inches long straight hair on the bottom. there's no transition whatsoever. there's no way of saving it. i tried straighten my hair (my hair is naturally straight, but i thought it might make the "bob" less obvious) i also tried curling my hair. either worked. My hair looked like a jellyfish!!! I had to have my hair cut to shoulder length to make it look decent again. Never trust the razors again! read more

She quoted me $105 for my hair color, didn't get the look I wanted and had two other people do my hair (one was the nail technician) while she work on other customers when she's the one that's supposed to be doing my hair. She beached my hair and panic later because she realizes it's not looking like the picture I showed her. The bleach burn the crap out of my scalp. I walked out so so upset, she didn't care. All she wanted was money even when she didn't accomplish the look I wanted. Now I'm stuck with hair color I didn't want and a burnt scalp that I have to pick off scabs from.
