i went on a saturday i believe and by Wednesda i had 3 nails missing with 3 other ones loose. tracy was kind enough to fix 5/6 for me... i guess the last one wasn't loose enough for her comfort to fix but it was lifting! i was charged $90 for the initial service. when i went back for the mistakes to be corrected tracy used the wrong color on my pointer finger and i spoke about it she didn't even care. all she asked was "that's okay?" like NO! it was my worse nail experience. in addition, she had two other associates standing right over my shoulder the entire time and it made me feel uncomfortable. read more

Update: it's been many months since i've been here as i had a bad experience the last time. I went in for a filling and she told me she had an appointment in which i was willing to wait until Tracy was finished. however, once she was done, she took the lady's daughter! instead of telling me she had two appointments she only said one which made me extremely upset due to the fact i could've just left and came back another day. she really didn't care and proceeded to do their nails. i used to always come here but i won't be returning. they should learn to treat all customers the same especially the ones who come faithfully and spend their $. won't be returning. read more

Have to give this place a one star and this is why. I've been coming here for 4 or 5 years now. I always left happy. But these last few times have been awful. Went for a pedicure, paid $28 for a sloppy job and I was only in the chair for 5 minutes..... In the last month I've been in twice for refills and color changes, normally I brush off the small mistakes they make but my nails look awful. There's bubbles, brush hairs pained over and it's patchy. Not to mention, I made appointments both times for 5:30.....they didn't take me until 6:30.... so apparently appointments do not matter there which is ridiculous. I loved coming here but I've had enough, it's so inconsistent. read more

I have been going to this New Image for years now and I never leave disappointed. I am someone that religiously get my nails done every 2 weeks. People are very friendly, lots of color selections for gel, dip powder, and regular paint. Clean inside. I also get my eyebrows done there (both nails and eyebrows done by Tracy) as well. Tracy is the owner and she is absolutely amazing if you want your nails done by her you MUST make an appointment because everyone wants work done by her. All work in the pictures are done by Tracy. Best nail spot in Pottstown imo! They have all the shiny powders and gems. Ask for either the owner or her husband.

I decided to try this nail salon, I had saw someone's nails, who said they loved it and the owner had just gotten nail stickers in and hers were really cute. So I went there and mentioned at least 5 times I wanted a nail sticker design and the girl didn't understand me and I never got what I wanted. They told me the sticker would stay on gel, so I got gel ...BUT NEVER GOT THE STICKER. NEVER again. read more

Terrible nails and terrible customer service ! Worst nail service ever! With the guy who did my nails, im sire not all the technicians are terrible, but the guy who did my nails was absolutely terrible! He looked so bothered to do my nails not friendly at all! He didnt even match the same lengths for my nails! They were all mishaped! When i called and spoke to the owner she said there not thE same length because you didnt want them cut down lol whAt!!! That makes no sense! I came in with matching nail lengths and left with different lengths i wont be back and service is terrible bad manners ! read more

Not impressed and not going back. Went here with a friend because she wanted to try a different place. I got a gel manicure and she got a gel acrylic manicure. Hers turned out decently, aside from semi crooked ends of her nails, but they look nice from a distance. I have shorter and more fragile nails that I've been trying to grow out so I didn't want them cut or filed too much. Upon being asked what shape I want and replying that I don't want them shaped, the man doing my nails and the woman doing my friend's raised their voices and asked again what shape I wanted as if I were deaf. English is my native language, so I very clearly heard them the first time and again replied that I wanted them to stay the same shape that they were (I already maintain my nail shape and the trimming of my nail beds). The woman started saying square for the shape and I said no, I just want them cleaned up a bit, but I don't want a square shape. The man filed my nails very unevenly and left sharp edges on the ends of them that I later had to buff out myself because I knew they would get caught on something. The polish job didn't fully cover my nails and is all over my skin around my nails. On top of the mediocre job, the man doing my nails asked me several times if I wanted my eyebrows done and gave me a judgmental look when I kept saying no, as well as saying something in Chinese to the woman next to him immediately after. Yes, I haven't tweezed them in a week and they're growing in a little, but I'd prefer not to feel judged while I'm paying for a service. Most nail salons aren't the most clean, but this one seemed particularly grimey. I watched them drop tools on the floor and place them directly back in their little cup holding everything else, which means they probably don't clean anything. I absolutely love this nail salon. I've had acrylics for almost 5 years and have been to a ton of salons and new image is the only place where I can bring in any picture and leave with exactly what I want, every time. I originally thought that only Tracy, the owner, was talented with designs however tonight I had to stop in without an appointment and saw one of the male technicians and he did an awesome job as well! They always remember me when I come in and ask about my school and work, and I never feel rushed even when I ask for a lot of crazy designs! I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for bomb nails read more

This place has every new nail trend such as unicorn powder, a wide selection of gems and rhinestones and the owner does such a good job! There's one other girl there (I can't remember there names right now sorry) but she's only there in Fridays and Saturdays and she does a great job as well. I asked for gel... they gave me acrylic as if i couldn't tell the difference or knew what i was doing; i called prior for an appointment but they rushed me for those who just showed up. he didn't give me the shape i wanted which was coffin/ballerina shape... a few were even crooked and even after correcting him, he didn't get it done. i decided to add jewels which are also rushed and crooked. its not only disrespectful to rush a guest but also to scam and not give me the service i asked and paid for.... a two star for sure. read more

First time their! I gave my girl a gift certificate she walked in gave it to them got her nails done . It was time to pay, and they added in $10 knowing she had a certain amount on gift certificate I paid for a full set in advance. They told her everyone knows it's extra for colors in bin they never said it was extra to us she told them what she wanted before she sat down. They knew she was never their before, because they asked if it was her first time. read more

Salon is a HUGE DON'T. Greeting was warm and friendly but services were terrible. I had my nails dipped previously and went there on off chance that they could squeeze me in. Well that wasn't a problem and I now know why. The man who did my pedicure was not at all bilingual and another woman had to keep coming over to translate. Nail design looked like it was done by a child. My fingernails were done by a different man. He filed them and filled never removing previous dip color. The color beneath shows through the new gel. I let him finish because it was already too late. Here comes the best part...after a complete disappointing disaster they attempt to charge me $75.00!!!! Terrible​ experience and complete waste of time. Salon is overpriced and not at all updated. Equipment and setup is not at all appealing, I would bypass comments on shop itself if services provided we're good. In this case you do not get what you pay for. Place is in need of complete overhaul. Never again. read more
