I walked into this office for some basic information, and walked right back out. I would give zero stars if I could, from the initial experience I witnessed. The receptionist Melinda, was extraordinarily rude to a group of two medical sales representatives. Being a medical sales owner myself, I know how much hard work goes into what they are doing. Melinda, the receptionist asked the representatives if they were a joke. She did this in front of one of your patients who was shocked and stunned by what she had just witnessed. I was recommended by a colleague, who knows a lot of influential people in the Brentwood/Franklin area. If this is expected to be a concierge boutique business in which I am placing several thousand dollars of my own money into, I hope you all understand that you have a lot to learn about class. Absolutely disgusting--bullies that own and run this said office. Save yourselves money and your self esteem. Go anywhere but here. read more

I spent too much money to be told I can order the supplements I needed online, and that I can call a 1-800 hotline with my next test results since they don't know much about the test? Why are ya'll administering a MEDICAL TEST that you don't know much about, and can't review with your patients? The nurse I had was very sweet and kind though, but could not answer my questions. When I asked what to do next since they were not sure what was causing my issues, she couldn't answer any of my questions. This place is a joke... Also 75$ for a nurse to scan over a 4 page document for 15 minutes & then have to order the supplements, and crap online? Very funny! Especially since I have to order them online!!! Please do your research, talk to your PCP, and think wisely before going to this place... it is a total scam. I was recommended to go to Dr. Kensington by a coworker. My first visit, a consult, the NP, Melanie, sat me down and we discussed my symptoms and then she showed me some Testosterone pellets and said, "these are similar to the pellets you'll get", and I thought that was so odd that she said that, bc blood work hadn't even been done yet to determine if I actually even needed Testosterone therapy. The visits also will cost you about $350 OUT OF POCKET bc insurance does not cover these office visits. Insane cost for a 15 min. visit!! I went back a couple weeks later to follow up on my lab results, and was told that my testosterone was low- even though the results that they gave me showed that I was in a completely normal range. The NP told me that the "range is out of date" and that my Testosterone is extremely low. Then, the NP prepared me the Testosterone pellets without even asking me if I wanted the pellets or if I wanted to do the self-injections. I opted for the injections and did them at home from Jan. 2021-May 2021, and I eventually decided to stop the injections bc it literally didn't help me at all, I was tired of giving myself injections every 10 days, and bc New Life was charging me $75/month (for what, I don't even know- but it wasn't for my injections or supplies, I'll tell you that) on top of $350 per office visit. Also, I never even met this "Dr. Kensington", which is also not good. When I decided to stop doing the injections in May, I called New Life's office to ask what I needed to do to get off the injections. The receptionist told me that a nurse would call me back, but no one did. I had to call again hours later to ask to speak with a nurse again, but still no one was available. The receptionist asked me what I was calling about. I told her that I was wanting to get off the injections, and then the RECEPTIONIST told me that I could "just stop taking the injections".. WHAT??? Why is a receptionist advising me what to do with my healthcare?? I was wanting to talk to a nurse to be sure I didn't need to titrate the dosage, or was at least expecting someone to ask, "are the injections not working for you" or, "what can we do differently for you".. nope, all I get is a receptionist giving me medical advice and I still never heard from a nurse or anyone form New Life again. Also, the receptionist told me that I MUST bring my vial of Testosterone back to them? for What??? Umm no, I paid for this and I am not bringing it back to you for God knows what reason... Now, when talking with my PCP about this, my PCP is completely in shock and told me that my Testosterone values were completely normal that whole time, and that it could have even caused heart issues and other medical problems if I stayed on them!!! Obviously, I should have talked to my PCP before doing the injections, but my coworker has had such a great experience on Testosterone and at this practice so I trusted them, which is my mistake... Don't go to New Life Physicians for Testosterone or anything else for that matter.. Go to to your PCP or GYN and they can help you and it will be covered by insurance. Side note- I also think that it's weird that this "Dr. Kensington" goes by so many different names online and has two different New Life Physicians websites- New Life Physicians 2.0... just all so sketchy to me and I had such a bad feeling about this place from day 1.. should've listened to my gut. read more

Dr. Moor and her staff have been helping keep me in good health for 7 years now. Not only have they been a great resource for my HRT needs, they have managed my metabolic (thyroid) hormones as well as vitamin/mineral supplement recommendations based on routine labs. The staff is excellent at helping with education, labwork, insurance, etc. Over the years, they have been consistent with a 24 hour turnaround on medical questions and requests. Beware of the testosterone that they are putting in your body. Yes it makes you feel so good. But please do the research on the effects it has on your body. I had acne, facial hair! A lots of it! Male pattern baldness!! Then my hair started to thin all over. It fell out for 7 months after I stopped the pellets!!! I lost over 50%my hair I was devastated. Slowly it's starting to grow back. But probably never be full like it once was before the pellets. Had to spend lots of money going to Dermatology doctor for her to tell me how bad the pellet were on my body. No more testosterone! My body getting back to normal now. I'm not depressed any more. My hair is better, you can't see my scalp anymore so that's a gd thing. Being 42 and bald nobody wants that. My wife took two doses of the pellets and her hair stated to fall out. Seriously! Another Dr that she saw told her to stop doing this treatment right away. I went to New Life Physicians like many other women who are approaching menapause and feeling less than their vibrant "20 selves". I was hooked by the promise of more energy and increased libido so I quickly agreed to receive the pellets of estrogen and testosterone. After a couple of weeks I did feel good! I had more energy, I wasn't as sore after exercising, and yes, I was more interested in having sex with my husband! However, after about 6 weeks things began to change. I became more aggressive, agitated and restless. In addition, my skin broke out with acne I had never experienced-even as a teenage-and my hair began to fall out. When I went to New Life and asked to talk to Dr. Moor about it, I was assured this had "never" happened before and my body just needed to adjust. So, I forged on. After 5 months, I've seen a dermatologist with labs in hand who informed me that my testosterone was absolutley off the charts and was causing the "male pattern baldness" I was experiencing and the cystic acne. He stated he sees it frequently from the bio identical hormone replacement centers such as New Life. He has given me a regime that will hopefully stop the progression of hair loss and stop the acne. New Life specializes in healthy hormone replacement therapy for men and women, I've been a patient for 7 years and have been more than pleased. I've never felt the need to go anywhere else. The doctors and staff are extremely knowledgable in this area and constantly do research on all subjects that could be associated with treatment. This office is a joke! I was told by the nurse that I needed Juviderm on my face and quickly after the procedure started was told that the whole syringe, which was $600, was not needed and I could bring it back later when I thought I needed it again. It was put in a box inside a bag and I was told not to open it until I brought it back to use again. When I called later to make an appointment to reuse it, I was told it probably expired and the nurse that sold it to me wasn't there anymore. I opened my bag and realized the product had actually expired 4 months before I had originally bought it. I told New Life Physicians that and they said the nurse is the one who sold it to me and there was nothing they could do. I told them I wrote my check to New LIfe Phyicians and I had chose their location above others because I thought the doctor oversaw the nurses there, they said it was my fault for not knowing that the nurse was responsible and hung up on me. I also had a procedure done there for a vein in my leg that actually became worse after paying to have it removed there. When I asked another doctor about it, he told me the laser they used was not recommended for veins. The procedure was very painful and the nurses laughed at my pain during the procedure and were very unprofessional. I drove an hour to this clinic because I thought it was a reputable place ran by a doctor, but obviously it is run by idiots and the doctor who hired them doesn't care as long as she is making money off of them. The hormone part of the business is also a joke. I had a friend who went to his doctor to have blood work the same day he went there and the doctor told him his testosterone was fine, but they told him his was low. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Moor and New Life Physicians for several years. I had a complete hysterectomy at a relatively young age and experienced what I refer to as surgically induced menopause, complete with all the usual symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, etc. I was prescribed the standard hormone replacement that was marginal at best for treating my symptoms and was told that as you get older to expect decreased energy, lack of interest in sex, and so on. I didn't want to accept this and was fortunate enough to hear about bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and New Life Physicians. Yes, I was skeptical as I read the information in their brochure about how much better I could expect to feel. I can only say that I was amazed at the result even after the first treatment. I have also participated in their weight loss program with much success. I feel better, look better, and would recommend the services at New Life Physicians to anyone. Dear Dr. Moor, June 16, 2016 I can't begin to tell you how significant the change has been in my life since being treated with bio identical hormones. In my work I do a lot of data gathering and critical analysis as well as more abstract, less structured or defined work. About 3 years ago I began having difficulty processing things, thinking clearly, being motivated to do anything. Projects were late, deadlines missed, nothing seemed to make sense to me like it used to. My thoughts were cloudy and I couldn't understand what was happening to me and it was only getting worse as the months went by. I went to my doctor who referred me to a neurologist who also referred me to a psychologist. I went through countless tests, physical and psychological evaluations--even traveling two hours away to the Memory Disorder clinic at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. MRI's, further tests showed nothing physically wrong with me--yet no one thought to test my hormone levels. During this 3 year odyssey I began to lose hope that I would ever be whole again. Work was suffering and unfulfilling. People were distancing themselves from me as I was no longer the "go to" guy that I once was and nothing seemed to motivate me to do anything. I knew I would just slip into a deep depression (it was already happening) and probably dementia (after all, the neurologist put me on the dementia drug Namenda) and that would be that. I can't tell you how hopeless and discouraging that was for me, a man who has always been on top of his game, successful, energetic, the life of the party as it were. All that vanished over a three year period until I finally bottomed out into a steady state of malaise. Then my sister, Ruth Laetz, began noticing changes in me when I would visit. I did not know what to expect and certainly was not expecting any relief from my condition and symptoms. Dr. Moor, when you walked into the exam room and said to me "I don't know how you get out of bed every day, I have more testosterone than you do!" I was taken aback, shocked. You then listed, unprompted by me, the many symptoms of low T and I just sat their ticking them off in my head, one by one--all of them: Yep, I have that problem, yep, that one too, uh huh--that one, yep, yep, yep. I was astounded--I had no idea the impact that my lack of testosterone could have on my body and most importantly my mind. Within the first few days I could tell something was different. Then after the first week a noticeable change. Going into my third week since the implants--THE GAME WAS ON! I was finally firing on all cylinders! I could think clearly, I had energy, I was motivated, the lethargy was gone and last, but CERTAINLY not least, my libido was in high gear (I swear, I was so aroused I could have ripped the doors off their hinges!). I felt like I was 25 again. I was my old self again, maybe even better. I'm fully engaged at work and people have begun noticing the positive change. Dr. Moor, you have given me a new lease on life. As I sit here recounting these facts and the damnable part of my life that was the last 3 years, I'm filled with the joy of knowing that my suffering is at an end. I'm a grown man, 53 years old, and yet I'm sitting here writing this note with tears running down my face. You have given me my life back and I am ever so grateful to you and your staff. You have a calling in life and this is it. You have blessed me beyond belief. All of the hard work you have put into your education and training has paid off for me. I am the recipient of your efforts and I can't thank you enough, nor encourage you enough to keep doing what you are doing. I would like to warn women about going to this office for hormone treatment. My experience became a nightmare! Both with the pellets and with Dr Moor. I went here for hormone treatment and was convinced to do the pellet hormone treatment (which you need to know the pellets are NOT FDA approved). After getting the pellets I started having terrible side effects. Hard to breath, pressure in chest, horrific sore breasts, etc...I ended up in the emergency room feeling like I was dying and was told I was having bad side effects from the Estrogen/testosterone pellets. Long story short, Dr. Moor washed her hands of me since there was a problem and I went to another Doctor. Dr. Moor told me in a very angry tone "it could not be from the pellets". My testosterone was retested with another Dr and it was 3 times higher than the normal level. The bad thing is once a women gets these pellets inserted in your hip you are told you can not get them taken out. There are a few doctors now willing to remove the pellets if a lady is having bad side effects, but I could not find anyone willing to remove mine in the area. There are hundreds of articles on the internet explaining the horrible side effects alot of women have had getting these pellets. It is a huge money maker for DRs doing them and women are not being told what all the possible side effects can be. Many have ended up in the emergency room having trouble breathing after getting them. It has taken me over a year to be totally free of the bad side effects from1 round of these pellets. This DR will not return phone calls when there is a problem and will write you off if there is a problem she does not want to deal with. This experience also costed me ALOT of money having to go to other DRs for futher treatment and answers. Dr. Moor would take no responsibility for her actions or these charges. The new DR I went to told me she has ladies in her office EVERY WEEK that have gotten these pellets and are having horrible side effects. I wish I would have done research on these pellets and DR Moor before I agreed to get hormone treatment in this office. I hope this review can save just one lady from going through what I had to go through all because I bought the big sales pitch in this office of how these pellets were going to change my life. I have talked to many ladies since who also got the pellets and so wish they had not. It is sad when you go in for simple menopause hormone treatment and end up with a treatment that is much worse than all your menopause symptoms and the patient has to take a large financial loss to undo the damage done. read more
