This is a very nice establishment. I was greeted warmly. The business is very well kept. They offer other services beside eyebrow threading. Threading: I got my eyebrows threaded for the second time ever and it won't be a 3rd lol! It hurts too much for me. However the lady that did my brows was very nice and did a good job! Overall I was happy I just would rather have the wax than the thread. They also have brow tinting. I went to this business to get my eyebrows vacation ready. At first I was undecided based upon the reviews but I'm happy I went with my gut instinct! I happily walked in there 10 minutes to close and they were more than willing to thread my eyebrows and there was no attitude behind it! There was only one person in the chair at the time, she was done within minutes! At first the employee in training started my eyebrows, I did not realize she was training at first, then the more experienced lady took over. I told her I just wanted them shaped and not think, I needed definition, that was all. This was my first time getting thread, I'm usually a wax girl, the pain is very different, like bring a tear to my eye several times different! She was very quick though, I knew she knew what she was doing. In the end I was very pleased with the service provided! It's a little pricier than my $7 waxing at $11 but if it keeps me having to clean up my eyebrows more often it's completely worth it! read more

I went to this place for brows and first time lashes. I'll start off with saying the place was clean and they did practice social distancing. Also the lady did a nice job on my brows. However whoever did my strip lashes put glue directly on my eye. It looked into my eyes and burned like crazy. The glue stuck on my 3 days after I took off my lashes after trying every oil to take them off and eventually had to pull off some of my lashes to take them off. I may go back for my brows, but I will NEVER get my lashes done there again. It is possible there was just one person who just wasn't straight up about not knowing how to do lashes and I got unlucky, so you have to double check with that person if you are getting that service. read more

I.. Am.. So.. PISSED!!! I am nervous about trying new places for services I'm quite particular about like my eyebrows. I had just left the gym and was in need of a "cleanup," so I went in. There were three women lounging on the sofas when I entered and only one spoke (stomach flutter #1). I explained that I am very sensitive and would prefer someone who has a light hand. One of the three stepped forward and we progressed to her station. As I explained what I wanted, she just kept saying "ok, ok.. Clean-up" but was walking toward her station ,not looking at me (stomach flutter #2). Before I sat down, I said " I need you to understand my definition of a cleanup. I only want you to thread here (and I pointed to where I wanted her to thread). I do not want you to shape or arch my brows, just the under side of my brow." Again, she kept saying ok.. While working on my right eye, I felt that she was doing more than what I asked and when I said I don't want that, she stated that she was trying to match to my left eyebrow. THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED!!! I TOLD YOU WHAT I WANTED!!! Of course when I looked at her work, she had taken away my natural right eyebrow arch so now my eyebrows are "twins" not "sisters." AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH! Did I let her thread my left eyebrow? Reluctantly. At that point, the damage had been done! Did she do a good job? That's a matter of perspective. My eyebrows are decently trimmed and cleaned up but not what I had specifically requested. Word of caution: Do not do things out of convenience if you have someone who knows your preferences. We've all heard or said it before.. "Go with your gut!" Trust your instincts, people! I will have to wait at least a month for my eyebrow hair to grow back but I'm constantly reminded of her indifference every time I look in the mirror. read more

Many Many (emphasis on MANY) Issues: 1. CLEANLINESS - WHILE THREADING MY EYEBROWS the roll of thread fell on the floor and the lady just picked it up removed the long piece that fell on the floor and TRIED to continue threading my FACE with the same thread. Had to correct her on that...( like seriously) 2. COMMUNICATION - BEFORE SHE EVEN TOUCHED MY FACE... I TOLD HER "keep it thick, just clean around the brows NO SHAPING." THINK SHE LISTENED???...WELL SHE DIDN'T After Seeing she completely thread the brow in half, took away my natural arch on the right, basically "Half-moon shaped" the brow. I told her to stop. Her response was, "You sure you don't want more of here?", still trying to shape it. 3. SECOND-CHANCE- I was so mortified and livid when I looked at what she did to me in the hand mirror I ran to the bathroom to really see it. IT WAS BAD. But I couldn't go outside with Badly shaped eyebrows, So.... I asked her can I pencil my own eyebrows..( at Least I could fix it to my liking...) SHE WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE PENCIL TO DO IT MY SELF. SHE WAS DETERMINE TO BE THE ONLY ONE TO FIX MY FACE... and SHE SUCKED AT FILLING MY EYEBROWS IN TOO. LIKE REALLY. WHY COULDN'T SHE LET ME DO IT MYSELF? 4. LEARN: A. They will IGNORE YOUR REQUESTS AND DO WHATEVER THEY THINK LOOKS NICE ON YOUR FACE..EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT OR WANT IT. B. Will try to take your Change as a tip even though they know you were UNHAPPY with the service. (I was not trying to be friendly, I made sure she did not get anymore money from me for the Aweful Customer Service. 5. Overall- LESS THAN ONE ... THEY DESERVE A -2 . I pray my face does not Break Out because of the uncleanliness practices of this salon. Protect your Health and Mental health by avoiding them until they get their stuff together. read more

AMAZINGGGG. So I typically get my brows done every few months or before any event. And my sister and I found ink and arch online that had about 96 reviews and they were really good! We went to the eyebrow salon and found that it is actually new look salon and we both had a great experience. I just got my brows done and the lady who did my brows was great. She kept them thick like I asked and spent good time on them. She put a calming lotion on after and even did a mini massage for my brows which I've never had. My sister got her face done and said it was the best experience for her as well. read more

I went to have my eyebrows threaded. The lady who did them was rude to say the least. She got upset and rolled her eyes when I asked her to correct a brow several times. These people who offer this kind of service needs to understand that if we consumer's pay for a service we want what we want. After not being fully satisfied she had the audacity to begin talking to another employee in their language. I think it's rude to begin talking another language while providing service to someone unless they speak the language. I came here last Sunday and was very please with the woman's work. I believe her name was Laxmi (maybe? could have that wrong). I did have to wait for about 25-30 mins but would still give them 5 stars due to her work. A few years ago someone waxed the end of my brow off and i have not been happy with the shape ever since. Over the last few months I had been trying to fix the shape on my own with tweezers but was way over-do for a professional to work on them (I have a lot of eyebrow to work with). I am so nervous to try new places, but I am so glad I stopped by here! I walked in and was seen immediately. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who assisted me, because she did a fantastic job on my eyebrows. She really took her time and paid a great deal of attention to detail. It didn't hurt, but my eyes watered like crazy. I also had the usual redness for about 10 minutes. So maybe wear very minimal eye makeup when having eyebrows threaded. It only cost $10, but I would have paid so much more because I'm very pleased with the results. I took my daughter here to get her eyebrows cleaned up. This was her first time getting them done. We decided to go with waxing vs. threading. I have gotten my eyebrows threaded here before and allowing my daughter to go. I haven't had a bad experience here even though this is not my first choice. It's closer than going to my normal location so when I'm busy this is my go to spot. I told the lady that this was my daughter's first time and she did exactly what I told her. I didn't want her to have an arch just clean them up so that she wouldn't have unibrow. She really liked them and she bragged about it to her friends, dad, and grandparents. Entered this salon, and it was empty. No one came out to address me, tell me that they would be with me in just a few moments, nothing. After about 5 minutes, I called to see if anyone was even here. Some woman finally comes out and signals one minute to me. Twenty minutes later, I'm still sitting there, and by now, they have another customer waiting. The people running this place seem rude and inconsiderate. If you are with other customers, at least step out and tell the waiting ones what's going on and how long they may have to wait, so that they can determine if they want to wait or come back later. All they seem to care about is the money. That's alright, because the nail shop down the road does better eyebrows anyway, and they charge less too. I'm never coming back here again. read more

I had my eyebrows hreaded at this salon over the summer when visiting in Richmond. I loved it and gave it a 5-star review on Google Plus. I am back in town for a conference, and I had to come back here to get my eyebrows done. Lakshmi was wonderful. I had to move positions in the chair, hold my eyebrows up ( like I had a surprised expression), use two different positions with my hands to hold my brows, and move my head a few times, but that was all so she could make my brows absolutely perfect. Afterwards, she gave me what she called "eyebrow relaxation," which is a kind of mini forehead and eyelid massage. I could have gone to sleep! So whenever I am in Richmond I will come here to get my eyebrows done. For anyone who lives in Richmond, this is the place you need to go to get your brows done. It costs more than I'm accustomed to spending, but it is really worth every dollar and then some. read more

If I could post 0 stars I would. These people are dishonest and do not care about the comfort or safety of their customers. I am in VA on business for an extended time. I get eyelash extensions done from a professional establishment in CA that specializes In lashes. I went here asking to take off my current set and add new lashes and the woman informed me she would attach one lash to each lash and that she would do a good job. I should have know to walk out when she put some abrasive acid like remover on my eyes and told me not to open them. The lashes did not come off as they expected so they got rough and the fluid got into my eyes and began to burn bad! They told me to go to the bathroom and wash my face, I could not even open my eyes and I had to run with my eyes closed and the evil women were laughing! I was in extreme pain and I bumped my forehead on the faucet in a rush to rinse the acid from my eyes. I guess it's my own fault for being vain and continuing on to get the lashes out on. I knew there was more problems ahead when the girl had me sitting up with my eyes closed and no tape and I could feel her gluing lashes in quickly and within 15 minutes time, she was done! My lash stylist at home takes 2 hours and i leave with beautiful lashes. I was scared to look in the mirror. It was worse than I thought. I told them I look like spiders were trying to escape my lids! They just laughed and I was angry. I was so close to saying I'm not paying for this but I didn't feel like going to jail! I feel my only way to do something about the situation, is to write an honest review and warn people not to go here. I am thankful my eyes are ok now but I ended up going to a professional here and she removed my lashes and told me the lady put a bunch of clusters in my eyes. What a bunch of liars! Stay away from these people, they charged me 50 dollars for something I could have done better myself. When it comes to something like lashes, don't trust anyone, go to a professional. Later I found out lashes can not be legally done without having an estheticians license. I don't think these women were competent enough to have any kind of license! Stay away!! read more

She actually ripped some of the skin under my brows and when I asked her afterwards why it was bleeding a little, she said because my hair had grown out too long. Dishonest business. I was quoted a price for microblading that was supposed to include the touch-up, I specifically asked before booking, to make sure the touch-up was included. When I went back for the touch-up I was charged another $100 AFTER the procedure. I told the owner Ayesha that it was suppose to be included and she said it wasn't. She lied to me and I see that she has recently put a disclaimer on her website saying the touch-up isn't included, I assume to cover her butt for others that she lied too as well.
