I took it back to exchange it, and I was rather rudely told that they didn't accept returns on sports equipment!? I explained that I had just purchased it a couple hours previously and it had never been used. They took it and I purchased the correct item. When I got my credit card bill, I saw that I was charged for both items and had not received credit for the return. It was only about $22, but I won't accept being treated that way, and Leslie's has lost my business.

After they left, I figured out I had had them put the cover on the wrong side (blocked my view of the mountains). I called them and they came back the next day and changed it. I think water is sometimes hard to balance, especially here in New Mexico where hard water is the problem. I went through a couple of brands of chemicals, but ended up just using chlorine in a dispenser and it has solved almost all of my water problems. Luckily I had this pool before and during the worst of Covid. I use it still, almost daily, and without it, life would have been so difficult. I have some health problems and it has made a world of difference for me. The staff at Carefree have been patient and wonderful to work with and I absolutely love my Endless Pool.

Unsatisfactory. About two years ago my 13-year-old Cal Spa was malfunctioning and I called…read moreAlbuquerque Spa Repair. It cost about $1100, and took a few weeks, to replace the heating element and pump. I stopped talking at any length with the technician because he had a habit of lecturing in a condescending manner. The heating element has been fine, but the pump failed about four months after installation after vibrating loudly for some time. Because it was still under warranty, it was replaced, again after a few weeks, but the new one failed the same way after 18 months (out of warranty). After watching a couple of YouTube videos I learned that replacing the pump is not difficult, so decided to do it myself. I got the best brand pump available (Balboa, used by spa manufacturers, about $350), and some O-rings locally, and it went in fairly smoothly. I found that the pump was attached with two screws (should be four) and it was still using the original 15-year-old anti-vibration pad, which was old and hard, and I replaced. I do not intend to use Albuquerque Spa Repair again.

I called about 5 companies only two companies showed up to give quotes, two wanted me to take photos and and bring them down to their office for quotes, and one had me send some photos then disappeared. Sunrise did such a great job I hired them to do some concrete repair and had them add a concrete slab for a storage shed as well. I will say that there were a couple of mistakes made with plumbing which have been fixed. I called, Jesus and his guys came over as soon as they could and got everything fixed. I could not be happier that I hired Sunrise Pools.

Then we started going to a new store location to try to avoid the rudeness and at the new store the employee couldn't have been more indifferent. We left and went to Valentine's and they were very kind and polite. Never going back to Leslie's. Whoever reads this at Leslie's, you need to revamp your employee education and train people about how to treat other humans - especially ones that you want buying things from you.
