A couple of years ago, I went to the AGH E.R. for severe kidney stone pain. The staff at the AGH ER…read moregave me a couple of pain pills and an IV for the pain which eliminated my pain within a minute or two. The ER doctor on duty that day, (a doctor not recognized), said that I needed EMERGENCY surgery, so the 'smart' doctor sent me to the local airport within minutes so I could take an emergency flight to El Paso's 'Del Sol' hospital for immediate kidney stone surgery. I was able to walk, and when I was stepping off the medical aircraft, a King Air, I twisted my knee very badly on the aircraft stairs. That knee pain remains to this day, December 2025. Once at the third world hospital of Del Sol, I had to wait for three hours before anyone even noticed me. I was without pain and very upset that not even a nurse checked on me. I walked out of that hospital and walked to the William Beaumont VA hospital a few miles away. There, the doctors could not understand why AGH would think I needed emergency surgery. WB VA Hospital sent me home with good pain meds and that was it. After doing a search, I found a good urologist in Roswell, NM who treated my kidney stones and was excellent with a diagnosis and management. AGH was very wrong in wasting my time and money sending me to El Paso to the worst, and dirtiest hospital in El Paso, Del Sol Hospital. The ER at AGH need to make note of this. JMO

I try to just drive to Lubbock Tx when I'm having an emergency that might be able to handle the long drive. I have also started getting all the rest of my care in Lubbock due to the poor service I've received from other local establishments. It's unfortunate but the care is night and day so it's worth the 6hr round trip in my opinion.

Stay away I'll never go back there. I went there almost 2 years ago complaining of upper glutes…read more(buttock) pain. The PA there diagnosed me with a bulging disk (with an MRI she ordered confirming her original diagnosis she said) She prescribed me some methylprednisolone steroids (cortisone like medicine) referring me to their in house physical therapist (located in the same building) who after reviewing the same PA's diagnosis and doing her own exam concluded my pain was being caused by arthritis not a bulging disk. You can't make this up. Maybe we should have done a coin toss for the tiebreaker diagnosis? Just an idea (sarcasm) The examining PA telling me if the issue ever flared up again they would have to ,using X-ray guidance, inject a powerful anti-inflammatory medication directly into the epidural space in my back to reduce nerve root inflammation. Turns out it was all BS. I was suffering from neither a bulging disk nor arthritis issues but trigger point issues (muscle knots) which following appropriate treatment fixed my glute issues for good. Like i said ...stay away from these clowns.

It's frustrating to feel like your time and money don't matter. Definitely won't be coming back. I dislocated my knee back in June 2025, and it's now October -- yet I still haven't been offered any physical therapy or real treatment plan. Every visit feels like a repeat of the last, with no progress or concern for getting better. At this point I feel fully healed but not because I came here

We discovered Alpha and Omega by a friend's recommendation, and I'm eternally grateful! I have…read moreseveral testimonials to share! First, let me say that Doc Joe is not the kind of chiropractor who continually bleeds you dry. He will treat you, make whatever adjustment would be appropriate, and then tell you, "if you need to come back, give us a call," and then he leaves you alone until you need something from him. I've had neck and shoulder pain for more than twenty years due to an injury, and I could never find a chiropractor who could offer a permanent solution. Doc Joe took x-rays, did a full diagnostic, and took a careful history of my injuries and medical issues. After he conducted his intake, he then presented a treatment plan to me that was both wholistic and practical. Doc Joe was able to get my pain under control, and then was able to heal that injury, and he did it in less than 5 visits! Alpha and Omega's wholistic approach was something I was very suspicious of when they first examined me. I was on Prilosec for more than 15 years--and then I met Doc Joe's partner, Doc Mike. He sat me down and helped me in a very practical way: he got me off of Prilosec, and I've never had to go back on it! For almost two full years, he's healed my acid reflux and heartburn issues, and I can eat normally and perform normal activities without any fear of reflux. That alone is worth the price of admission! My daughter has significant scar tissue from abdominal surgery from when she was a baby. Her scar tissue significantly impacted her quality of life, and she endured pain for many years. Doc Joe was able to help her pain levels by using a variety of techniques that involve massage, and organ adjustments, and some topical pain relievers. HE IS THE ONLY DOCTOR WHO HAS HELPED HER! We've spent thousands of dollars seeking medical help for her, and Doc Joe offered her relief that has lasted for more than two years! I could go on for many paragraphs, but you get the point. Alpha and Omega is legit. They care about you as a person. Even though they don't take insurance, they don't fleece you financially. They don't simply pop your joints and send you home. They will actually address your pain and offer you fantastic solutions.
