We were never missing refills (she was proactive on that front), and she kept checking up on us throughout our meal (but not too much!). The kitchen staff know what they are doing too! You have an expectation with the food here, but they absolutely crushed it! The pancakes had a perfect crispy edge, but a soft pillowy interior. They were clearly freshly made, as they were still quite hot to the touch when they arrived on the table! Everything else was cooked to order (eggs, specifically), hot food was hot, cold food was cold, etc. Usually you can find one or two things that aren't quite up to par, but that wasn't the case. Okay okay okay, I found the one thing I can complain about: the sweet tea wasn't disturbingly sweet like a good Southern-style swee'tea! There. I found something to complain about. Yeah, I'm kidding, but it was literally one of those experiences where you don't even feel like you're in a chain joint anymore. Everything just hit right, the service was stellar, and the overall experience was memorable for all the right reasons.
