I had never eaten here before, and despite seeing some negative reviews, I decided to give it a chance. I honestly thought they closed at 11:00, but they actually close at 10:30, and I walked in at around 10:25 without calling ahead. I fully expected them to tell me the kitchen was closed, but instead, they were incredibly kind and patient, and they were willing to wait while I figured out what I wanted to order. Because it was so close to closing time, I assumed I would probably be getting whatever food was already prepared. However, it seemed like they were actually cooking everything fresh. I ordered three different specialty items, and when I saw that my total was less than $12, I genuinely thought they had charged me incorrectly. I even brought the receipt back inside to double-check! At that point, my expectations were honestly pretty low. Then I got home, opened the containers, and was completely surprised. The food looked fresh and delicious, it was not greasy at all, and the portions were huge. I had enough food to last me several meals. Then I tasted it, and I could not believe how good it was. Hands down, this is the best Chinese food I have had anywhere in this area so far. I have not tried every Chinese restaurant around, but out of all the places I have eaten, this one is by far my favorite. The service, prices, portions, freshness, and flavor all went far beyond my expectations. I will absolutely be coming back, recommending it to everyone I know, and apparently even recommending it to people I do not know, since I am writing this review! 100% recommend. read more

They gave us someone Else's food then the people came for there food and they had the shocked face. They messed up the order twice because they didn't speak decent English. New Panda is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD in the entire Binghamton area!!! My husband and I are absolutely sold on this place. We have tried just about every other Chinese Restaurant around here and it's gotten to the point that New Panda is our standard that they are all compared to. They all fail in light of New Panda's taste, freshness, and quality. Most of the time we order the same dishes. The General Tso is always crisp, but never dry, and over cooked, which is the problem with the other restaurant's General Tso. The sauce is light, not overly seasoned. The blend of spices is perfect. Their won-ton soup is what won-ton should be...firm, but not rubbery, and always fresh. Their spare ribs (I usually get it on the bone, but not always) are to die for!! The meat is tender, and NEVER over cooked and dry...always juicy! I often get shrimp with Chinese vegetables, and yummo!!..Their shrimp is sweet and cooked to perfection. My hUsband's favorite is their RICE. Not that gooey, stuff, but theirs is cooked just Right with delicious flavor. I adore their egg rolls! Never drippy greasy, over fried, or that weird after taste that I've found at many other places.... these are always just like I remember in my childhood in NYC. Their food is consistently wonderful. Most of their business is take out, or delivery (They do their best to be prompt, but it's well with waiting for.) but lately we've been going indoor and have had the opportunity to meet them, they are a delight. Wonderful taste and freshness here. Enjoyed their food for years. I saw the photo and was reminded of the shrimp egg rolls and lots of things they will do for you. Delivery is great! Very terrible customer service, got the wrong order and when we called to get the correct items, we got screamed at by a woman saying we didn't say that and got hung up on. She was extremely rude and wouldn't listen and we had to throw away food we spent money on because there was pork inside which we don't eat. So we wouldn't have ordered it. read more

Horrible experience, I ordered vegetable chow mein and they called me back a few minutes later to ask me if I want brown or white sauce. When I asked her what the difference is she said "one is brown and one is white" that makes no sense, I understand colors. I wanted to know the difference in taste. I also asked for extra vegetables but she gave me no chow mein noodles instead. So I will never be going back to that place again. read more

Don't waste your time nor money. They say 1 hr for delivery but it's taken up to 2.5 hrs. The food is cold, it's not as ordered and the excuse is "we so busy"! Being busy isn't an excuse for late, cold and incorrect order. Simply put, they suck! read more

Placed order for veggie chow mein noodles.. got a call back 10 mins later asking if I placed an order.. so I had to repeat it.. the lady had very broken english.. she asked if I wanted white or brown sauce.. I asked what the difference was.. she said one is brown and one is white.. are you serious? So I asked if it could be put on the side.. she said yes.. I get there and ask her if she knows whats in the sauce and she just says "Yes, it's in there".. Ummm okay.. get home and I have rice not noodles.. and I said I didn't want any animal product.. and this has clearly been made with beef broth, and the sauce is mixed in the the veggies.. I'm like eff it I'm hungry.. So I crunch up the fried wonton noodles it came with hoping they will save this.. Nope they are stale hard and damn near broke a tooth on them.. I have never been here before and will never go here again.. very poor first impression.. sad.. read more

the pupu platter here is pretty good, as were the fried wontons, but the general tsos combo was disappointing. the sauce on the general tso's was a little too sweet for me, and the pork fried rice wasn't very good, the texture was off and there was very little meat in it, and the meat that was in it was very chewy, i had to spit 2 pieces out. the fried wontons had good a good flavor from the meat, they weren't too greasy but greasy enough to keep them from getting crisp. the sweet and sour sauce served with them was just alright, i've had a lot better. the wings in the pupu platter were good, and i really liked the batter on the fried shrimp. the ribs had great flavor but they were overcooked and chewy, as was the "beef on stick". the eggrolls were decent. they have a bigger menu here than most places so i'm tempted to go back again but it will probably be a while before i do so. also, beware, they are closed on tuesdays read more
