Just got a bunch of food for my husband's birthday. I will begin with the positive: the wontons and dumplings are pretty good (pan fried and in peanut sauce), the shrimp toast is very good, the egg foo young are small patties, but a good amount and tasty. The negatives: the hot and sour soup is terrible (so bad, tastes like the bottom of a dirty pan- not hot (spicy), not sour. Horrible service. Man behind counter wouldn't let me mark what I wanted on the menu, and order was very wrong. Had an argument with me about what size I wanted. Wouldn't let me order small. He insisted we order large so he could charge me more. Won't be back. I don't like being taken advantage of. read more

I tried General Tso's chicken; unlike a lot of places I've had this dish, normally there's a lot more chilis in it; this is not the case here. I found it to be on a very mild side like they know how to cook and use the spices. As opposed to the standard broccoli (which I love) there were scallions. The crab Rangoon was a little thicker than standard, but very tasteful. The dumplings were a little thicker but more traditional and excellent spice combination with the pork throughout. The dumpling sauce was a little more mild, but still the right combination. I was told when it would be ready and it wasn't too busy so it was right on. Granted it's not the Emperors Wok in Waukesha, WI but it's a better restaurant for the area here. read more

LISTEN. First and foremost, do not leave this place without getting the spicy dumplings. They're sausage based and come with a chili oil to dip in. They're very subtle in their slickness but unbelievably good. Everything else was solid, a huge portion, and the owners are sweet people who care about what they do. Not good at all. Fried rice barely cooked or fried, barely any vegetables in it. Ordered the chicken/beef w/broccoli. I don't know what kind of sauce they use, but it was awful. I ended up rinsing it off, just to eat it. No flavor in anything ordered. Used to be so much better. read more

OOOEEEE!!! My husband doesn't tend to have strong opinions on food, but after we finished this meal, he said "We've found our new Chinese place." So that is a testament in itself. We used Bingbite for delivery. I will say, I maybe should knock 1 star off because it took quite a while and was about 30 mins later than the initial (long) estimate, but I'm going to maybe chalk that up to us ordering duck, which I know takes longer. In total, we waited 2 hrs for the food. General Tso shrimp-holy cow, so good. I've never had this dish with shrimp, but the shrimp were huge. Like, 3 bite shrimps. Crispy duck-even after sitting in a car for quite a while, it was still crispy. And it was sitting on top of a bed of sauced veggies, but it didn't get 'sauced', which I'm very happy about. Yellow curry chicken-pretty standard, nothing terribly special, but solid. No potatoes, if that is important to know. I don't mind, I like to mix it with steamed rice anyway. Combination lo mein(I forget what it was called, maybe Special lo mein?)-very nice and not too greasy, which I've had at other places. PuPu Platter-I've never had shrimp toast, but wow, I could make a meal of just that. The beef skewers, pork, egg roll, and cream cheese wontons were also very good. Chicken skewers-somewhat dry, but I'm a weirdo who kind of likes that ONLY because it had a very nice flavor. Dry, flavorless chicken is no good. The main dishes came with fried rice, which was good. I wish they included some sauces for the chicken skewers-maybe peanut sauce or something. The only side sauces were the packets of mustard and sweet n sour that are usually thrown in. The portions are a bit small for what you pay compared to other places-but the quality is much better, so I'm fine with that trade off. We spent almost $90(not including delivery fees and tip) and it's more than enough for 2 people over 2 days. We'll probably have enough for a 3rd day, but I've found that 3rd day Chinese is stretching it for taste. Definitely ordering again, but will allow for extra time. read more

We ordered from this place because our normal go to Chinese was closed. I ordered ribs (pretty good) and pork egg foo young. The EFY tasted like it was fried in fish oil and the gravy was way over salted. The rice tasted like a mix of old stale rice and fresher rice. The Genral Tso's chicken wasn't spicy at all and the chicken tasted like manufactured chicken "product". Will not be ordering from here again, no matter what the desperation level. I gave it two stars since I didn't find any hair in any of my food. read more

pretty decent spot, the food had good flavor but the texture needed work. the general tso's chicken was decent. the texture on that was good, it had a nice even breading, and the sauce was pretty good but a little heavier on the soy sauce than most places. the pork fried rice wasn't my favorite, it had carrots and peas in it and the meat was a little tough. i got pupu platter and it was decent but missing a few things that other places include, like shrimp toast and pork fried wontons. they did include cheese wontons that were decent, very crisp shell but there wasn't a lot of filling. the eggrolls were ok, they were thinner than most places but also a little longer, and the shell was a little thicker, but the flavor was average. the ribs had a good flavor but they were chewy, same with the "beef on stick". same with the wings, the breading was great but the meat could have been more tender. overall it was decent food for a decent price, but there's better options in endwell. read more

Consistently good chinese food located right next to Weis in Endwell. The family that owns/runs this is really sweet. We like the garlic shrimp and steamed chicken and shrimp with rice. The egg drop soup is great too. I wish they delivered for when I am lazy! ! read more

This place deserves way more than 5 stars. The owners are so nice and polite. The food is cheap with higher quality than the expensive places around the area. Hands down my new Chinese food spot. read more

Oh boy, has this place gone downhill. It was sold this past Fall and the quality of the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes there's enough flavor, sometimes very flat. If you are doing takeout, check your orders carefully before leaving the restaurant. Have had friends charged for items they did not order. Today I learned that if you order the soup option on the lunch menu, you are automatically charged an additional $.50. The menu states that for $5.30, you can choose between an egg roll or three soup options. Nowhere does it say on the menu or is it posted anywhere in the restaurant that there is an additional charge for the soup! So your meal automatically jumps to $5.80 if you choose soup! While it may seem small, it is deceptive and adds up overtime,for the owner of the restaurant. I called them out on this and got my $ back, but I will not support a restaurant that engages in shady pricing. read more

This review has nothing to do with their menu options but rather the cashier's business trick, he will prefer you to pay cash especially when you're ordering take-out/s and that's fine but yesterday I came in and ordered a take-out, I asked him if he does accept cards and he said yes, gave him my card and seconds later he showed me a print-out from the card reader that says DECLINED,... the machine is somewhat hidden from view so I'm not sure if he really swiped my card, I was surprised because it's the very first time that card had been declined which I'm not convinced, went to WEIS across, made a purchase using the same card and no problem at all the card worked, my card is from a local bank in the area, never had an experience being declined, one time I came in too, told me that the card reader is not working, a guy came in who ordered (take-out) on line and gave his card to pay and it went through, that said I don't like the way he conduct his business and I'M NOT GOING IN THERE ANYMORE! read more

This review is based on 2 of us. Don't care what others have said but the food we have had from here has been very good to excellent. Szechuan beef was tender,nice heat. Ordered the pang dumplings and they are by far our favorite dumplings. Meat wrapped up in won ton wrappers and they were soft and the meat also spiced right. Try them with the hot oil...it is oil and szechuan paste mixed together. Not a pack of oil. Shrimp toast was big, flater than other shrimp toast which we both liked. Friend had kung po shrimp...said he liked it. Shared the dragon vs phoenix. General tsos chicken one of the best. Not heavily coated, lighter texture, delicious. Shrimp in brown sauce...no complaints. Nice size shrimp with a light crispy texture...not tough, cooked just right with the vegetables. Look forward to more food from here and hope it will all be just as good. Only dissappointment...sesame noodles. That was all it was ...noodles with sesame seeds. So I made up some peanut sauce and all was good. read more
