The place is cluttered, supplies and personal items stacked along the walls, coats, books, and personal items taking up the 2 biggest tables available to sit at. Food not cleared from tables, I was there 20 minutes waiting for my order...... the guy working the counter doesn't know the difference between 2 dishes, and just leaves it at that. No help. 11/14/25, very disappointed Chicken rice soup was oily and had no flavor and did not even eat it. Pad Thai tasted like it had vinegar in it, tasted sour. Would have gotten the wrong order had I been in a rush, was given the wrong order twice, so third pile of food in my hands and I'm good to go. Order: Beef lo mein combo pork fried rice & roll. Sesame chicken and white rice. Crab ragoons and fried dumplings. Beef Lo mein big chunks of veggies not my preference. Pork fried rice was cold. Big to go container full though. Roll was a veggie tho. Crab Rangoons were bad bitter cream cheese filling and almost like a pastry outside not crunchy. Sesame chicken was bland and no sauce almost like they just took their plain chicken and added seeds. White rice was good as most Chinese places. The best and only "Good" item we got from our $40 order was the fried dumplings. Tons of flavor and sauce was good too. They were also quite large. PuPu platter we've had twice, over cooked, not fond of over coated tempura chicken and shrimp in it and spare rib is tough. I think it should have 2 beef sticks, 2 fall off bone ribs, lightly fried wontons, 2 fried spring or egg rolls... but that's my opinion. Lomein is tasty but doesn't need to have tough green beans in it. The things that are good are but somethings are over cooked. Quick service and friendly people. This place has pretty legitimate Chinese for this area. Some of the dishes can be pretty oily. The owner is nice and helpful. The food tastes good but I'd recommend trying to ask if they can use less oil in the foods if possible. You get a good portion size dish for the price you're paying. The worker was so sweet, that she gave me an extra free green tea drink and helped bring my food outside to my car. I picked up a $90 order and nothing was missing. Ordered delivery. Unfortunately most of the food was cold by the time it arrived, but I can't blame the restaurant for that since it's 20 mins away. PuPu Platter-usually there are at least 2 of everything, but this had several pieces of fried boneless chicken and only 1 shrimp, beef skewer, chicken wing, and pork rib each. Hard to split with 2 people. Flavors were nice, though. Lemon chicken-chicken and lemon sauce were separate, which is fine. The sauce was very nice. Hong Kung duck-pretty standard for duck, and the coldness kind of ruined it, but decent flavor. Singapore Chow Mei Fun-a 'combo' thin noodle but spicy yellow curry flavor. I liked this a lot. Salted crispy pork chop-wasn't crispy by the time it arrived and it was a bit too salty. House fried rice-standard, good fried rice. I won't order out from here again. This is my second Yelp today, and I can't leave this site having talked about the importance of being sincere about one's intentions of working in the food and hospitality industry without talking about Long Feng. And because we've been patronizing this restaurant at least monthly for about a year now, this Yelp is long overdue. What I've enjoyed most about Long Feng is that while some of their items taste as you'd expect, there are others that are surprisingly different from what you might consider standard, like their General Tso's options for meat and tofu dishes or the style of white rice they use (Jasmine, I think.). Whether we've gone into their restaurant to place and in-person order for take-out (which is what we used to do before the pandemic) or made an online order to be delivered to us, we haven't yet experienced a wait time longer than what they quote, 30-45 minutes. In fact, we've rarely had to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare our food in the year we've been supporting them, including our delivery experiences. #RealTalk Long Feng is a place that wants you to eat and eat well. I am not kidding you when I tell you that this lady hung up the phone and came to my house within 10 minutes of me ordering the food. First of all, she wasn't like oh ill be there in 15 or anything, she said "I'll see ya later" and hung up the phone. That's a baller move. Then I get a call 9 minutes later and this lady is on my porch. I used to get Panda 3 but not anymore. This food slapped. Like I don't get how you can take the order of three people, prepare the food and deliver it to us within 10 minutes. Like we don't even live that close to the restaurant. And on top of that, it's not like they have an operation or anything. Its just one lady. She straight up did all that herself. Like I regret not giving her a bigger tip. I was just confused as to how she got here so fast. But like if she's down she can come to the pregame on Friday. She's one of the boys now. Hands down the best Chinese food in the greater Binghamton area. This restaurant gets Kung Pao chicken right. Their ingredients are fresh in their stir fry dishes. I always get the beef soup for $7.95 u get a lot and it's good especially the broth, the rice is different from what u use to get at a Chinese restaurant but it's good and sweet and sour sauce is real it's the before they add the ingredients to turn red taste so good. I came here because I was feeling a little ill and I just wanted a big bowl of some sort of noodle soup. This was my first visit here. I've read good reviews on yelp, but I still came with an open mind. I heard they had hot pot so I was going to order that, but instead I ordered the "seafood soup noodle" which is actually just a seafood udon soup. This soup hit the spot. The soup came boiling hot. It was loaded with shrimp, crab meat, squid, mushrooms and lettuce. Not gonna lie, the shrimp was over cooked and so were the noodles but overall it was still a good meal. The broth was a little bland, so I asked for some hot oil on the side to add some more spice in my life. I would suggest you do the same if spicy is your thing. As for the ambience. It was a nice restaurant. Nice decor. No one else was in the restaurant except for myself and the gentleman that took my order. I plan on coming back to try more things from the menu. I went to Long Feng after a long time of craving Chinese. I thought all the Chinese take outs were closed. But a good friend told me they were still open. I went to investigate and found them Open! I ordered q large Sweet & Sour Chicken. Then right away a changed it to a small. Waited in my car 15 minutes and went back in to get it. When I got home and opened the lid on sauce, it looked like a bunch og frier oil with a few specks of red mixed in. Smelled like vinegar. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants! It's very cozy and homey, and the staff remembers me and my preferred order! A nice clean place, and a very convenient location. I prefer the sweet and sour chicken, but I've never had any complaints. The portions were consistently large - I got the roast pork noodle bowl once, and it was nearly as big as my head, for a fantastic price. Even the Chinese fried noodles were better than the norm. Ordered one Buddah Delight, one Homestyle Bean Curd, and one Hot & Sour soup. We received 2 Homestlye Bean Curds, and one container of rice to go with Both. Neither meal was spicy, which it should be, and the sauce was very thin and leaked through the containers. They also used canned much rooms and enormous chunks of celery. Not very appetozing. The rice seemed old and was dry, and the soup was so spicy it was barely edible. Might give a 2nd try, to see if they can live up to the decent reviews I read. read more

Long Feng Chinese restaurant is in the Price Chopper Plaza off Main Street in Binghamton. From the outside it looks like any other Chinese takeout restaurant. But inside, it is very clean and uncluttered. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. It is a family run business and everyone there is very attentive, always smiling and very nice. The prices are excellent and the serving sizes are more than enough - plenty left over for takeout. The food seems very authentic like what you would get as a home-cooked meal in a Chinese home. The ingredients are fresh and vibrant but still full flavored. The Kung Pao chicken dish I had combines fresh, crisp green and red peppers, onions, peanuts and chicken (cooked to perfection) with a delicious spicy sauce. It's not gloppy, though. It all seems very fresh and healthier than what you get at most Chinese restaurants. Even the egg roll seemed healthier. The crust was not saturated with oil like most places. Really confused by the reviews. I tried this place recently since I've been curious and happened to be near by. The decor was nice, even though I was only getting take out. The service was fast and friendly but there was no one on there eating or picking up. The beef and broccoli was bland, the sauce was wAtered down soy sauce. I had to dump siracha sauce on it to make it taste like anything. The lo mein was average as were the crab Rangoon. I prefer the kind that fold up like a purse, but these were the triangles served with duck sauce. They were cooked well though. Overall it was just disappointing. 5 Stars. This place is probably the best Chinese restaurant I've seen in Binghamton so far. I'm definitely a fan of China Lake, but this place is closer and has some Hong Kong style food that's more of my taste and background. They have a take-out menu with typical stuff, but if you look past the chicken and broccoli, they have some more authentic cuisine that's definitely reminiscent of nyc type Chinese food. Tried the Peking pork chop (gking doe gwhat in canto), stir-fried bok choy, seafood tofu pot, beef and Chinese broccoli (gai-lan), and stir-fried ho fun w/ beef (sup chow gnow haw). All really tasty and honestly quite impressive, esp. for Bing. Secondary items: great parking, very clean, lots of space inside. My immigrant parents honestly enjoyed the food. i'm kinda surprised to see so many positive reviews about this place. this place has its good qualities but ultimately the food was unimpressive. the good: this place is nice inside, it's not just an average takeout place and they also accept credit cards, a lot of these types of places don't. they also have an interesting menu. they have the standard americanized chinese dishes and then there's some more unique dishes like beef tongue and frog. i'll never eat those things but it's cool i guess that they have em for more adventurous tastes. i've tried the General Tsos and Sesame Chicken combos here. i like the pork egg rolls that come with them, although they are a bit on the smaller side and have a different texture than i'm used to, it's kinda more like a spring roll. they come with a duck sauce too that i think is made in house. i've never had one like it and it's very good. the pork fried rice on the other hand isn't good at all, it has a dirty flavor to it, and it has sprouts, i hate sprouts! they always get stuck in my teeth! for the sauces, i liked the sesame better. the general tso sauce was labeled as hot but i didn't think it was spicy at all, it was actually too sweet for my tastes, and the sauces don't really stick to the meat too well. the chicken pieces are weird, they range from small to really big with too much breading. and there were a few pieces i bit into that had the tendons left in from the meat so i had to spit em out. i've also had the sweet and sour spare ribs. they were cut up into small pieces that were pretty hard to eat. they had very little meat on them and the meat itself had an off flavor to it. the sweet and sour sauce was ok, different than i'm used to, not as thick but it didn't do much in the flavor department. it was bad but it wasn't good for the appetizers, i've had the pu pu platter. the beef teriaki was good and tender but it had more of a bbq flavor to it, probably because it was right next to the rib in the package. the rib was better than the sweet and sour ribs i had but the meat was still on the tough side and didn't have much flavor. the fried wontons were very light and crispy but there was barely any filling in them. the chicken wing it came with was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. as for the chicken tenders that came with it, they were actually just pieces of sweet and sour chicken, but without the sauce. again too much breading and they could have used more time in the fryer. i'd probably come back here sometime with friends for a more experimental meal, but for now i think i'm going to pass on getting the standard takeout, there's a lot of places that do it better. read more

What a great find! Off the beaten path in Binghampton, but worth looking for. We are from out of town and relied on Yelp! for a recommendation and it was right on - again! The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the food incredibly fresh and obviously cooked to order immediately before serving. My only disappointment was the hot and sour soup, which was neither hot (spicy) nor sour. I was preparing to judge the restaurant by that soup until a wonderful, steaming bowl of wonton soup arrived, chock full of delicious BBQ pork, freshly steamed greens, and homemade wontons. Then, the first heaping plate of food arrived with big portions of both meat and vegetables. The flavors were distinct and the ingredients perfectly cooked. Did I mention how big the portions were??
