We have never ordered from here. My husband wanted fried rice and pepper steak. I ordered chicken lo mein combo and my daughter got the chicken wings and fries. The flavors were not the issue. The portions were good. The reason I will never go back and will not recommend them is the rice was yellow Spanish rice with freeze dried peas and carrots and ZERO Asian flavor. I was so upset. We were so excited to eat fried rice. We ate the main dish and threw away all of the yellow rice. We will not go back and the truth is I should have gone back for a refund. read more

I usually stay at a nearby hotel, so the location is super convenient and within easy walking distance. Every dish I've tried here has been excellent. On my last visit, I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables, beef with mixed vegetables, and shrimp with mixed vegetables -- yes, I love my veggies! No ambiance or atmosphere, no table service for eat-in, all it is, is the "to go" packaging setting on the counter for you to pick up. My Roast pork lo mein had plenty of pork, vegetables and noodles, but everything tasted bland. My wife's Kung po chicken was rubbery and, again, everything was bland. More of a carry out then dine in. So Mrs. K. and I dined in. Some positives the food is cooked to order. So there will be a slight wait until your food is ready. It is a mom and pop place and they work hard. I ordered the schezwan beef with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The beef was not like any schezwan style food I have ever consumed. Almost like it was a stew type dish. While heavy with beef and vegetables the sauce was not very spicy and other than the broccoli the rest of the vegetables were meh. Pork fried rice was interesting in it did not look like any fried rice I have ever eaten. More like white rice with chunks of tiny pork thingys. The egg roll was severed super hot from the frier and then it had an off taste. I did not finish nor take with my my leftovers. Mrs. K. ordered General Tso's chicken and it was a fair representation of what I know as General Tso's chicken. Served crispy and hot. This dish saved the review from the terrible twos. Would I come back? I know what not to get and the food is cooked fresh so it is worth another try. read more

After reading the negative reviews below, I decided to give it a try anyway because it is conveniently near home. Coming from a Jew from NJ, I thought that this NY style Chinese food was pretty good! For a quick $25 take out dinner (barely exists anymore), I was impressed by the quality of food and the value. The employees were very friendly and prompt. We will be back. They have poor reviews, so we were iffy on trying this place. Our gut says yes, but our mind said no. The lady was very friendly, and nice that we couldn't walk away. Although the saying is to never judge a book by its cover, Popped in my head . We waited a bit to order and finally decided to get their fried rice, lo mein, chicken with pepper tomato , krab Rangoon and roast pork with broccoli. It was phenomenal, and very very tasty!!! The real name is Jiang Peking. Google it and you will find a long list of problems found by the health inspectors. Here is what I wrote for Jiang Peking: I am a big fan of Chinese restaurants, but not this one. The 3 people I ate there with turned up their noses at this place. Two who had leftovers said that they weren't worth taking home. (I took mine home but people call me a garbage dump for food). I don't know what they put in their sauces but they didn't taste like one expects in a Chinese restaurant. I have no complains about the food itself san sauces.
