We were seated promptly and our server arrived shortly afterwards. He was attentive and the different stages of our meal was delivered on a timely basis. Food - very good. I ordered the Combination Dinner with Sweet and Sour soup, an Egg Roll and the Chicken Lo Mein with brown rice. The soup was served hot and tasted great. The Chicken Lo Mein was very good. Atmosphere is pretty simple, with booths and tables. The booths that face the parking lot also have chairs on the outside (maybe for people waiting for take out), where people are sitting, so it was odd having them next to you outside the window. Our server brought us crunchy noodles and our menus and quickly took our drink order. The menu is extensive. I settled on a combination which means you pick a soup, an appetizer and an entree from a limited menu. I had the won ton soup, egg roll and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The soup arrived and was full of cabbage and wasn't very hot. The two wontons were good, but the cabbage was odd. The egg roll was super deep fried and just full of cabbage, so it wasn't my favorite either. The chicken dish was decent. The chicken was tender, but had loads of breading. The fried rice was just brown rice, no vegetables or anything else. My husband's chicken lo mein was actually my favorite item. Service was good our entire time. read more

This company decides to take it on themselves to add their own tip to customers receipt even when we left a cash tip which is credit and debit card fraud they steal from their customers and service is shit anyway we are and left a cash tip and got billed $20 more for a tip they added on top of their charge when we did not authorize a tip for the card transaction would never recommend eating here period read more

Went with 5 other people on New Year's Eve. Waited 1 1/2 hrs for our food. They were definitely prioritizing the take out orders. Server was nice but did not spend time with explaining the menu. Two of my friends ordered the general taos chicken which they liked One had sweet and sour pork which was drowning in sauce. I had the lo Main and was not impressed. After trying several Chinese restaurants and finding the food just average, it was a nice surprise to have lunch at the Golden Leaf and realize they offer good food at a reasonable price. Kind of suprised at the bad reviews, since we both thought this was the best Chinese restaurant we've tried in the area. The meal started with hot and sour soup and we both agreed, it was one of the best hot and sour soups we've had. The Szechuan chicken had lots of veggies with a spicy sauce and hubs said the beef Lo Mein he ordered was very good. I really liked the choice of ordering steamed white rice, since neither of us cares for fried rice. The menu was varied and it's easy to see why this restaurant is popular with locals. I started to writing reviews so people like me could see more references when they are looking for places. I am a Chinese and I recommend this Chinese restaurant. I don't normally like the Americanize Chinese food. But this place surprised me with the freshness and great taste. Both me and my 8 yo boy had a great meal. Even though it is a typical American Chinese food restaurant, it satisfied the both of us. The price is unbeatable. The quality is beyond. I think the best thing I can say about the food here is that it was all incredibly fresh tasting. That, as I'm sure you're aware, is not always the case at places like this. I felt that everything here fell into the average to above average category for quality & taste. The boneless ribs had a nice barbequed flavor to them and the lo mein was good. The general tso was not my favorite version here, but it wasn't bad either.
