I really enjoyed ordering from Ming Dynasty! Bonus points for free delivery. I have tried several different Chinese restaurants in the 11 years that I've lived here and they all were a disappointment. There was one I frequented often but it has gone downhill and I stopped ordering from their establishment. This is definitely New York Chinese food so if you're trying to go healthy, this would not be your cup of tea. The general tso's chicken was was crispy and covered with a delicious sauce. The chicken was tender. I'd have a hard time not ordering this every time I order from the restaurant. The beef lo mein had big pieces of tender beef. I ordered it spicy and it was not spicy so next time I would ask for extra spicy. It was lacking a bit in flavor so I added the duck sauce and mustard sauce and it was a game changer. The sweet and sour soup is very good! The wonton soup has no flavor so I don't recommend it. The portions are huge and my food was delivered in about 45 minutes. This was our 4th or 5th time ordering carryout. Overall, we have very much enjoyed the food prepared in a timely fashion. Almost all the orders have been delicious and abundant. The restaurant does not skimp on portions. However, twice we have been very disappointed with the Sweet & Sour Chicken. The fried pieces appear to have been over-cooked and the meat not tender. Both times the restaurant was very busy and perhaps too much food being prepared at one time. Unfortunately, we live 20 minutes away ... too far to bring the order back to the restaurant. I'm hesitant to order S&S again for fear that this mistake is too common. I will say, that the other times the Sweet & Sour chicken has been perfect! I wanted General Tsao's chicken without onions and msg (allergic to both). They make it all in advance (bad move) and it all had green onions in it. We ordered BBQ ribs and they were BOILED, therefore, did not have any flavor. We ordered chicken with snow peas with no onion or msg... what we received was BOILED chicken that was rubbery and tasteless. The sauce, what little there was of it, had no flavor. All of the vegetables were boiled as well. What the hell happened to cooking Asian food in a wok. When making it at home, we ALWAYS use a wok. This food was a disgrace and the owners and chefs should be totally ashamed of themselves! We regret spending close to $70 for food that was absolutely sub-par to the extent that it was almost inedible. What the hell happened to this restaurant? It DID have very good food in the past, but sadly it has declined. You have lost some good customers by not caring about the food you let out the door!!! Shame on YOU!! read more

So...this was some of the best Chinese food I've had in Naples. The general tso's chicken was awesome. The steamed rice incredible. Even the egg roll was crunchy, tasty, and NOT greasy...which is tough to find! My only complaint is the location. It really is a questionable place with strange people hovering in the parking lot and stores that look more like fronts for illegal practices than like commercial businesses. Got a side order of wings and let me say the picture might not make them look good but it was delicious. Reminded me of Chinese food from up north. This is def my go to spot now!!! This has been our go-to Chinese take out for the past 3 months and the food is good and consistent. We normally order the shrimp with lobster sauce, shrimp egg foo young, bourbon chicken and Hunan chicken. The portions are generous and they out a ton of shrimp in their dishes. They are fast, service is courteous and reliable. A big plus is that they pick up the phone quickly after 1-2 rings and do not keep you on hold like other take out places. This is place is legit and it's just like New England style Polynesian cuisine that is known up in the region. All it would need is a Scorpion Bowl of you could sit inside. Its strictly take out hole in the wall place, but when you try the boneless ribs you can taste to quality of the chefs flavors like green tea. The sauces for brown sauce that is used has no taste of MSG. Duck sauce won't give you diarrhea and the Fortune cookies are good. For me its all about the pork fried rice and appetizers. The rice has the bean sprout, green peas, onion, and great sized pork. The crab rangoon actually tastes like cream cheese. Its not overly greasy either. The boneless spar ribs are excellent. And still a full serving left. 5 meals! More importantly, it was very good.
