Wes is hands down the best! We had him cover our wedding 10 years ago and recently on an anniversary shoot. He was easy to coordinate with and very responsive. The wedding photos turned out amazing, especially the action shots, but the icing on the cake for me was his overall friendly demeanor. I still remember how polite he was with the guests. On our recent anniversary shoot, he was still an awesome person to work with, but this time around I got to pay attention more to how skilled he is at his craft- directing us, spotting the light, interesting backdrops, everything. I had Wes film a promotional video for a consumer product. He was very professional and friendly. He had to get in a swimming pool with all of his camera gear to get good angles for the video, but he didn't complain - he just waded right in! The video turned out really well. I feel so lucky to have found Wes from this website. He's seriously the best! He uses natural lighting and his imagination is freakin' awesome. He had us pose in locations where we might not initially see that it's a cool photo, but when we see the end product, it's amazing! He did both our engagement photos and wedding. His black and white photos seriously make me want to cry (i.e. a happy cry). They remind me of Ansel Adams! I did a lot of research and met a few photographers before I found Wes. First of all he arrived super promptly and understood exactly what we wanted. We didn't want posing pictures so we told him to capture moments and we did it with little effort and without intruding the guests and us. Wow! Wes took photos of my daughter for her Senior pictures and they are easily the best photos she has ever taken. He took a very large number of shots and captured my daughter's personality. He varied the backgrounds, poses, angles and scenery. His photo editing skills are also excellent. 7months for them to finish photos and no communication about their delay. Photos were not taken directly after wedding so part of wedding party went home before group photo was taken. They delayed even after being asked several times. Group photo is missing whole party. Photos r nice. But customer service is poor. Whole price was paid, so why delay? Why poor communication? Why is group photo missing wedding party? I'm complaining bc the couple dont want him to screw up their order/photos. If u don't care about time, then this is ur guy. Photos that came over email came out great.. Still disappointed given his credentials. Folks that wrote positive reviews prob got a discount on next photo order or they r his friends. read more

When I first saw the amazing videos from New Road Productions I was sure they were out of my "economic bride" price range. One of the best things about Wes and New Road Productions is that they are extremely affordable with their packaged deals that include both video and photography. I was still able to have amazing videos and photography at a very great cost! Everything was professional from the start. Wes met us at a convenient location to discuss what we wanted for our special day. He was never pushy and ultimately concerned about helping us choose the perfect wedding package based on our wants and needs. Wes (New Road Productions) photographed a wedding I was a bridesmaid in last September. When I got engaged, I immediately got his number from my friend for two reasons. The more obvious reason is her pictures turned out absolutely amazing. The other reason I wanted Wes was because of the way he acted on the wedding day. He arrived extremely early, caught every moment possible and more, and was the only non stressful vendor to deal with in the wedding. He is a nice, laid back guy that gets the stress of the wedding day. He was professional and did his job to the fullest without getting in the way. After being in 4 weddings in a summer, believe me, all photographers are not like this. I'm a local Austin musician and needed some good press pics as well as album art. I sent Wes just one reference picture of the kind of style I was looking for and he absolutely nailed it. The location we shot at was relatively simple, a beat up fence in a rural setting, but he was able to quickly suggest the best possible part of the fence to reach the look I was going for, he immediately found the perfect background / foreground / natural lighting. Wes is a master of his craft. His depth of field mastery and quick delivery of the finished product was beyond what I expected. Wes was our photographer at our wedding in October 2012 at The Driskill. I can't say enough good things about Wes. From the beginning Wes was super attentive (even before the wedding). He answered e-mails promptly and was super easy to work with. He showed up right on time the day of the wedding. He was scheduled to start the guys photos but the guys were not in the room on time and were running behind, so at first it was a little chaotic. Wes was super patient and very professional from the beginning up until the end of our wedding day. Wes is super laid back and let me tell you the day of your wedding can be super stressful, the last thing you need is an uptight photographer.
