If you are looking for an incredible selection of delicious Vietnamese food and drink then this is the place to go. Honestly, the options are so extensive that I found myself a bit overwhelmed, and I can't wait to go back. I decided on the Bahn mi. They have many different varieties. I'd say the keys to a good Bahn mi are in the bread and the fresh vegetables. Everything here hit that mark. Really love the pickled onions and the spice level was perfect. Also had a lychee tea with Boba and it was probably one of the best Boba drinks I've had. Can't wait to head back to New Saigon again.
No frills kind of restaurant with no indoor seating. Plenty of parking. I was handed my order within just a couple minutes of ordering. There are also readymade rice bowls, spring rolls, etc. by the counter and fridges. The grilled pork banh mi was exactly what I wanted it to be. The French bread was light and had a good crust. The veggies were fresh, and the grilled pork was tender. I think a fish/chili sauce on the side would make this over the top, but overall it was a very solid banh mi. For a large portion and good price, it can't be beat!

Took the trek in the negative 3 degree weather to try a banh mi sandwich and yes, an iced Vietnamese coffee. (The strong yet subtle sweetness of the coffee warmed my soul.) SO worth it! Service was friendly and super helpful. Couldn't wait to bite into our BBQ pork banh mi. Unfortunately, there is no dine-in but that didn't deter my friend and I from turning on the heat in the car and eating in the parking lot. An Ode to My Banh Mi - Your first delight is the loud crisp of the bread as you take your initial bite. Then you get punched in the face with the many flavors of the pickled vegetables. The sweet bbq slowly begins to enter into the mix. Not to be ignored. The thin slices of peppers make sure to get jalapeño face. (May have bought 2 sandwiches in case I can't leave my house due to cold weather.)

I came back this year and was a bit disappointed in the amount of grilled pork in my banh mi thit nuong but the baguette was really good. This is not a sit down restaurant, so expect to go. They have a huge selection of other Vietnamese bakeries and drinks like soy milk, che, etc. they also have boba but it was okay. The banh mi was the best. Service is super fast and they have a numbering system.

I got the #1 Combination bahn mi, which is their cold cut sandwich filled with pate, ham, pork belly, and steamed pork, and topped with cilantro and pickled veggies. It was huge! The sandwich was so delicious and tasty. It's probably the best bahn mi I've had. I also got a pork chaud. It is a flaky pastry with pork inside. I thought this was okay. Everything else they had on display looked really tasty. I hope to return to try it all. This is a take-out only. No dine-in. It seems like a pretty popular place. There was a long line when I showed up, but the line went by fast.
I love this place! Their Banh Mi is sooooo delicious. I love fresh bread. This place feels like home. The food is made with so much love. There's so many options. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Great place for lunch. There is no seating. The service is quick and fast. Beware during the weekends there are long lines but so worth it!
Solid bakery branch off from the restaurant. I've gotten their banh mi and coffee a few times and never disappoint. The size of the sandwich and quality for the price is fantastic.
I go back time and time again for their combination banh mi, springs rolls, and pate chaud pastries! Their spread of ready to eat meals is always stunning as well!
Local vietnamese bakery with no current dine in. Fast and amazing service! I highly recommend this bakery for the best bhanmi in Denver. I always ask for extra aioli sauce. Their bhanmi portion maybe larger size so you may not be able to finish in one serving or you may want to take extra and keep it in refrigerator. I recommend requesting the veggies/pickles on side so the bhanmi can last longer in refrigerator and to eat later after microwave and lightly toasting it in toaster over or airfryer.

In my opinion , this place sells the best bánh mì, but this review is about one of their desserts: chè ba màu (aka three colors dessert (layers of red beans, mung beans, and pandan jelly, topped with coconut milk)). Whenever I think of Vietnamese desserts, my heart and mind go to New Saigon, and my body gets in my car and make the short drive to get what my mouth and tummy want, and that is their chè ba màu. The best place to get this dessert for the entire Denver area. Try it and prove me wrong. I bet you won't win. Since this is a bakery, their service is fast, and as for the ambiance: just a place for friends to meet and get their bánh mì fixed. read more

Bahn mi? Yes please! Fresh baked bread, crisp veggies and delicious grilled meats... count me in every single time! Order and go spot with all kinds of treats but the line is for the bahn mi sandwiches and drinks. The mixed Thai drink is packed with delicious jelly and young coconut in a perfectly semi-sweet creamy drink.... get one! There are lots of meat options but we went with grilled pork and grilled beef and neither disappointed. Will we be back, absolutely! read more

What a breath of fresh air after visiting a nearby poorly run Chinese supermarket. Pleasant aromas at the parking lot and every worker was smiling and appreciative. I had the lemongrass beef banh mi. I also ordered a bean jelly dessert drink, #3?, and a banana leaf wrapped with rice and meat. The clerk was pleasant as I inquired about the radiant offerings on the counter and display case. They are launching a new business with a slant towards dessert (Pho and Butter?). This deli had multiple desserts, rice noodle bowls, quail, shrimp, etc. I wanted to buy more but I was loaded with groceries. No seating so plan to take out unless you go to their attached restaurant next door. The Yelp GPS takes you a block early onto a one way street in the wrong direction. Good size corner parking lot if you are driving the right direction. I wouldn't be surprised if I raise my review after trying some of their other items. If I had to be hyper picky the banh mi was a little too doughy and the meat a tad sweet, but I enjoyed it and it was a generous portion. For a Sunday at 1PM, I only waited about five minutes as the sandwiches are made to order. read more

Go! Not the best neighborhood. And, no inside seating or outside seating. They have a parking lot. Their sandwiches are delicious. Highly recommend. Bread is crunchy, ingredients are fresh. My boyfriend and I were visiting Denver for a snowboarding trip. I an so glad I found this place. It reminds me of the ones I used to go to in LA as a child. They have a ton of food and desserts in refrigerators, on the counters, and in their warmer. Everything is fairly priced. We ordered two sandwiches and they were huge like enough to feed 2 people. I was excited to try the nem nuong cuon (grilled pork sausage spring rolls), because you can't find it at many Vietnamese restaurants. I was not disappointed here and this will be a regular spot for when I visit. One warning is be cautious driving in the parking lot, because of all the broken glass. read more

We were trying to figure out why the line consistently wrapped around the Bakery because it couldn't have been THAT good, right?! Wrong. This New Saigon Bakery and Deli was the exception to any average Vietnamese fast food or take out joint I have been to. Everything is for order to take out as there are no tables for dine in, but what's fascinating is the number of options one could find here. I mean, they have almost everything. From Vegan Vietnamese Sandwiches (Banh Mi) mimicking the traditional Cold Cut Combo (soooo good, BTW) to the number of hot food options you could take with you to your next large gathering -- this is a great stop for anyone looking for a quick Banh Mix fix or party tray order. If I lived or worked in the area, this place would be in my top 3 for a lunch pickup. Service is good and they moved guests through the line pretty quickly. Bread for their Banh Mi is so fresh and fluffy. Very addicting. read more

New Saigon has the best banh mi's in Denver. For a reasonable price of $8 (before tax) they offer a good-sized banh mi sandwiches filled with delicious toppings. Highly recommend grilled beef if you're not too adventurous of the various meats that they offer. Also, don't forget to get your Vietnamese coffee if you're needing a "pick me up". read more

Been looking for a Banh mi shop and there are a lot on this boulevard but this one has sooo much variety of quick grab and go authentic Vietnamese meals, fullest baguette sandwiches, strong coffee and other boba drinks. Banh Mi, Banh you, whatever it is, these sandwiches are straight deliciousness. As a Denver newb, I decided to drive down Federal to find a local hidden gem. I discovered a plethora of Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants that peaked my interest, rather my appetite. Trust me, it's worth driving through the heavy construction to get here. The traditional Vietnamese bakery is very clean and well kept. There were so many items and a lot of sweets that could distract you for days. Luckily, I knew I was in the mood for a Banh Mi. And you should be, too. There are 16 Banh Mi's on the menu. Say, what?! How the heck are you supposed to narrow it down? I had never seen Char Siu Pork inside of a Banh Mi before, so I knew I had finally made my decision. (#6) Char Siu Pork Banh Mi - number six on the menu board, but number one in my heart. Wow, this was up there with one of the top Banh Mi's I've consumed. For $5, they're practically giving this stuff away! Savory, crispy, juicy. Good lawdy, I could go on and on. The bread was absolutely perfect, the meat moist, and the daikon balanced the entire sandwich out with its light acidity. I'm making myself drool all over again. The prices are bonkers, the people are nice, and experience was painless. Although this venture is newer, they've been major players in the local dining scene for decades. Now I can see why. I ordered the dac biet (combination) banh mi here and wow is it good. The wait can be a little on the longer side but that is because they prepare everything to order. Everything from the bread which is a French baguette to the cilantro is all delicious. They also have a large selection of food like packaged snacks, pork buns, and boba. read more

I got the bbq beef banh mi and it was good for the price especially since not a lot of places sell banh mi. Really glad to have found a banh mi place after moving here from California where we have so many options for different cuisines. Will definitely be back! read more
When you come in this place, you might be overwhelmed by all the food everywhere. It is just like any other bahn mi bakery place. Trust me when I say, you should try some of the other food items beside the delicious bahn mi. The spring rolls, boba, Vietnamese coffee, shrimp chips, siopao are just some of the other great items to check out along with the premade meals. Every time I'm in the area, I have to stop by and get stuff to eat and or drink. Just wish they still made cakes too. read more
This is the one and only place to get a perfect and delicious bánh mì. It's such a simple treat that so many places can't seem to get right, but New Saigon hits it out of the park every time. The service is friendly and speedy and the variety is huge. My go to is the heo quay bánh mì - roasted pork belly. The bread is perfectly crusty, veggies are crisp, fish sauce always great.
