visiting Denver for a few days from SoCal and the weather switched to gloomy quick; pho was the next step! There's about 4 other pho shops on the way to this spot but the reviews stuck out to me. Vegan pho chay 7/10 for me. * pro - broth was good before any sauces. Even better with the sauces/ chili oil. also lots of veggies! * con - noodles weren't soft enough for me. I usually like my noodles a bit more silky. Tofu wasn't tasty. Service to seat was quick! We sat down and apps came out less than 5min. The ambiance is cute, I wish they would play some more relaxing music but I understand they want to be a bit more upbeat. A lot of regulars came in so that was cute. Def worth trying out. read more

We were a party of 8 when visiting Pho 95. The dining area was pretty full but they were able to get us in in under 10 minutes. Everyone enjoyed their food, including me. I wasn't very hungry, so I got the grilled beef bonh mi sandwich. It was flavorful. I was expecting it to be warm but it was room temp, but I still liked it. Fast, filling, fresh pho. This long-time Denver staple is known for their pho, but they also serve up giant bowls of vermicelli and rice. Pure comfort food, and a well-oiled machine. Ambience is cozy and usually there are college and pro sports games displayed on the TV screens inside so you won't miss your team. Or you can watch the fish in the tanks below if sports isn't your thing. It's usually pretty busy around dinner time, but because of how quick the staff move, usually there's at least one table free or about to be vacant. One of the staff members plops down water, utensils, and menus, and seemingly in the time that you've just opened the menu, will ask you for your order. If you're a regular, this is obviously nice, but the menu is pretty extensive and does take some time to digest for first-timers. Standard sauces are located at each table, and once you order a plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and limes will appear. If there's a spicy icon next to an item, rest assured that they can make it burn if you really want it to. Besides traditional beef part-pho, they also offer some fancier offerings such as lobster, as well as a vegetarian broth. We tried the lobster and bone marrow (surf and turf) once and probably would not get it again - the lobster was tough and not very flavorful. A small bowl is usually enough for me to be full, maybe a medium if I'm really hungry. A large is doable but you might have to take a few laps around the restaurant in order to finish unless your stomach can hold a liter+ of broth. I'm a fan of their spring rolls, and pho always hits the spot. It's a fairly light broth and not as herb-pungent as I would prefer, but a good base for a variety of tastebuds, if you catch my drift. Vermicelli bowls come with sweet and sour sauce on the side so you can tailor the level of sweet and sour. I do wish there was a little more seasoning on these bowls since the vermicelli was quite plain otherwise. Clean with a beautiful fish tank in the center. We got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, small combo pho and grilled pork noodle bowl. Over the years I've perfected my pho preferences from both the Bay Area and Central Valley of CA - full of dope and authentic AF Vietnamese spots. The pho broth here just wasn't it. I barely tasted any of the typical aromatic spices and was honestly so sad, it really just tasted like some beef broth. I hope I came on an off day because I left quite unfilled. read more

Stopped here after a crazy cold hike and this Pho hit the spot. In our party of 5, we all ate well and got pretty large bowls of Pho. My toddler wanted the meatball pho and J order the chicken. Both were very good and we enjoyed the usual toppings that accompanied our soup (bean sprouts, lime, chili sauce). Maybe we came in on an off day but our experience with the food was pretty meh. The food didn't really stand out and compared to other pho places we've had in the area, this was pretty mediocre. We ordered the spring rolls, soft shell crab, and the chicken wings and we were disappointed. The only thing that made up for the lack of flavor was the sauces it came with. Our apps were not flavorful at all. The pho was okay. It comes with a lot of meat even if you order the small bowl. But in terms of pho, I've had better in the area (our go to spot just happened to have been closed that day). I came here to dine in on first visit. The first thing that was off setting was the bathroom exhaust fan (something I do with every new restaurant)- the dust was literally hanging down, falling!!!! I had to tell staff that it needed to be cleaned. SO GROSS... seriously restaurants that don't clean exhaust fans in bathroom LD are not a clean place. This is how I gauge restaurants.... I order spring rolls with fish sauce... not bad, but not the best fish sauce either. I took most my Pho home... when I went to eat it for dinner there was a baby roach in my soup.... If babies are around, that means there are a lot of adult roaches too. I was really bummed out about these findings, not a good impression for first visit read more

I don't have pictures but I highly reccommend this place! It's more expensive, but the quality of the food definitely warrants the higher price point. I got the pho #21 and it had the most tender slices of beef. The broth is good and not too salty! The portion sizes are good and the service is good as well. I can tell that the ingredients are high quality because both times I have been here they had the juiciest limes and freshest basil. I can tell they are not skimpping in material costs. This is the first place I ate at in Denver and it did not disappoint! There are so many Pho # restaurants on this street alone in Denver, let alone throughout the entire city, so I'm not entirely sure what that's about, but my local friends swear by this place specifically and I can see why! All the food we got was SO delicious! We started with fresh spring rolls, which are always a must at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant! We got the Bi Cuon, which are the fresh spring rolls with seasoned pork skin within them. It wasn't crispy pork skin or anything, it was more shredded like mini-pulled pork bits, but it was super tasty nonetheless! I would just say I wish they put more into these rolls, like a ton of fresh veggies along with the meat and vermicelli noodles. We also got Cua Lot or soft shell crab as an appetizer as well. It comes on a bed of veggies, so you can break off a piece, wrap it in lettuce, and fill it with other veggies to make your own roll with it, making sure to dip it in the sauce as it'll be too bland without it! The crunch from the fried soft shell crab is very delicious and the crab they served us was very meaty and a good amount, so I was pleased with that! For my main, in fact for all of our mains, we got the pan-fried noodles. These are a personal showstopper for me, as I have never had anything like it before! These are not the traditional pan-fried noodles you might be imagining. Instead, it's like multiple lasagna-stacked layers of rice noodles, cut up into significantly thinner rectangles than lasagna. Those are pan-fried, making the outer edges and sides of the cube crispy, and then sauteed with veggies and meat. I got it with chicken (Pho Ap Chao Ga) and my friends got it with beef (Pho Ap Chao Bo Hoac Heo). My friends also got the salty lemonade drink, which they had had recently in SE Asia when they had gone to visit, and it was a delight to see it on the menu here. Another super unique thing that Pho 95 offers that speaks to its authenticity and was super unique! All in all, a very satisfying meal here with leftovers that I ate for breakfast for the two days afterwards as well! Loved it! read more

We stopped by here for a take out. Took about 15 minutes to order and walk out with the food. They give really big portions, lots of rice with huge pieces of cucumbers and tomatoes. Fish oil sauce is good too. I liked the grilled chicken they made, but couldn't enjoy the chicken satay. It was too dry and hard to chew. The grilled shrimp was good, not burnt. Nice to see a pho shop in The Streets shopping area. They have some free parking spots in front. Otherwise there's plenty of parking in the nearby parking lots. They have bathrooms in the back.
