After an hour wait (reason unknown for wait) the Doctor attacked my wife with "why didn't you read the entire FaQ on our website before coming in, you should know we can't do anything while you are breastfeeding." The one good thing about this place is that it is exceptionally clean and aesthetically pleasing. I am 21. I wanted to bring my mother in with me because she has had breast surgery before and she knows the kinds of questions to ask. I still need my moms guidance through things, and I was not allowed to bring her in with me during my consultation despite us both being fully vaccinated and wearing masks. However, the doctor was allowed to bring in 2 extra people (receptionists) during my consultation, and neither of which wore a mask during their time in the room, voiding the COVID-19 excuse. Not to mention, the doctor himself was not hearing my concerns about the way I wanted my breasts to look. I told him I wanted volume up top and I found a photo to show for reference of what I wanted them to look like, or as close as we could get. The doctor then told me that that is not realistic and to go find a photo of someone elsewhere with my breasts and that will be the result I get. He told me to get a lift but when I went back and researched it, a lift by itself would not give me the results I want. He should have known that. He did not offer different options to someone who clearly didn't know how these things work, and he clearly didn't listen to my concerns as the patient who is having the procedure. The doctor I went to in Sarasota immediately understood what I wanted and was able to include that in their opinion of what should be done for surgery. She also allowed my mom in the room and didn't bring in any unnecessary personnel. In my opinion, I do not think receptionists belong in the room during a consultation when they're not going to be in the operating room. I am so happy I did not do just a lift as suggested by the doctor at New Tampa because I would not have gotten the result that I wanted, and would have paid over $10,000 to not be happy with the result. So overall, this plastic surgery center did not meet my expectations and I will not be back. read more

I have been meeting different doctors in order to get different input and recommendations and pick the best doctor for what I want done and this doctor and experience was honestly the worst :) I don't usually leave reviews but I kind of want to warn others before they make the commute and book a consultation here. I arrived 15 minutes early, filled out the required paperwork and was in a room waiting to see the doctor right at the scheduled time of my appointment. I sat in the room alone for 45 minutes before the doctor came in. He talked extremely fast and didn't seem sincere whatsoever. He measured my current breast size in order to make the best recommendations for procedure and he measured me so fast while I was sitting down and slouching so there is no way that the measurements could have been accurate although I'm sure it was close but my breast definitely sit different when I'm standing compared to when I am sitting down. He pulled up photos up his breast augmentation before and after results and basically told me if this is what you came in looking for this is not what you're going to get because my breasts currently aren't where they should be for implants, which is fine... but I didn't come in looking for anything except for information... so that was slightly rude like he could have just avoided that since I didn't ask and just gone right into recommending the best procedure for my body which he did eventually get to. After waiting 45 minutes he was in the room for probably 5-10 minutes he didn't seem interested in working on me to be completely honest. If he was I apologize for misinterpreting but he just seemed like he had better things to tend to which is slightly terrifying as a first impression for someone I would need to trust to cut into my breasts :) read more

I went in for a consult and was immediately referred to a weight loss surgeon instead! I have a bmi of 26, as determined by a medical professional and a machine that scans your body to determine fat percentage. Is that great, no, but not weight loss surgery ready. I waited over an hour to see the doctor, to not even get a consultation because based on height and weight, regardless of my muscle mass or anything else, he would not even consider doing surgery on me. He came in claiming that I have a BMI of 31 and when I kindly let him know that I had actually been evaluated at 26 early that week he let me know that his bmi chart does not lie. How would he even know if I had excessive body fat if I had my sweatshirt on the entire time! I am a very healthy vegan, work out six days a week, and regularly run 5ks. I could not even get a proper consult and the best part is that he referred me to get a surgery that has a requirement of the patient being 90lbs overweight. Are you kidding me? He seemed like a nice guy... but I'm glad I have as much confidence and self awareness as I do, otherwise I would have been extremely upset after this interaction. If you are overweight at all I do not recommend. Save yourself the time and emotional turmoil. As per the response to my review, a straight height vs weight calculation does not always accurately represent bmi. Regardless of how many people use that method, there are more accurate methods that take muscle and bone mass into account. Regardless, the appointment was insulting and your response did nothing to help the situation. If I had received a proper consult and the doctor came to the same conclusion based off of real evaluation and metrics this would be a completely different story. read more
