What a great walk down memory lane for me...I really enjoyed taking in each section and the items for sale here since they reminded me of my Nana's & Mother's love of antiques, folk art, quilting, crocheting and nick-nacks... Shabbyology is a great shop for all your cottage core, shabby-chic decor needs! It packs a lot of unique, homemade, and/or vintage items into a seemingly small space and even has room for a workshop area where they hold classes and events. Staff are helpful and welcoming and prices are pretty decent for the quality. I came during the holiday season and the vibes were festive and fun! I walked away with some cute and unique vintage Christmas decorations that my cats won't be able to destroy lol - as well as some soup starters that have all been absolutely delicious so far! They've been so good, in fact, that I scoured the web and found the company online so I can order from them again in the future (it's Anderson House Frontier Soups - they use minimal all natural ingredients and have a wide variety of flavors - fantastic soups!). I also snagged a dip mix and they had locally made honeys, jams, candies, and even fresh gourmet coffee beans and an antique grinder. And if you love to decorate with any rooster or chicken themed items, Shabbyology is your jam! If my kitchen wasn't already packed full of rooster-themed decor, I would've walked away with so much more. They also host occasional themed "sip and shop" nights where they offer entertainment and various drinks and nibbles while you browse. They have a digital newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and classes so be sure to sign up! Their location is a tad strange for the genre of store - they're found in a large industrial complex and their shop blends in among all the beige, nondescript buildings. If it wasn't for Google Maps I would've driven right past. But there's plenty of free parking. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely stop by again! read more

It was my first time at Shabbyology. I have had this bookmarked for a while. I explored every inch in the shop. They have unique kitchen supplies, gadgets, utensils, pretty candles, hand made soaps, various honey flavors, jams, syrups and more. In addition to accessories, vintage items, furniture, cookware, dinnerware and many perfect gifts. When I visited, they had cute and beautiful decor ideas for Halloween and Thanksgiving. They told me that they are preparing for Christmas decorations by next week. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is a hidden gem in Covina. I follow Shabbyology on instagram but had never been in store until just recently. This store is chock full of shabby-chic wares for all tastes. In the front are items to outfit your kitchen and pantry. Picture kitschy dish towels, supplies to complement your coffee or tea bar, and dry spices for dips to nosh. My daughter and I found some small batch salsa that we taste tested - and bought. It was the perfect compliment to Super Bowl Sunday foodiness. The back of the store is outfitted with wrought iron creations, perfect for an English cottage garden. Additionally, you can find local made crafts, decor, jewelry, and knitted / crochet goods to enjoy - all reasonably priced! We stumbled upon a craft session that apparently you can sign up for. And, for a small fee you can participate in a "make it, and take it" craft activity. Too fun! I look forward to taking part in some of their offerings. :) read more

We signed up for their crafting class creating a Fall succulent pumpkin. All materials were provided with the fee and they had plenty of materials on hand. We had a great time being creative while meeting new people. Will definitely sign up for another class soon! read more

This is a cute boutique that has handmade items for your home or gifts for loved ones. The shop has a new owner, Karen, who has impressed me with her helpfulness. In December, I purchased some jewelry (made by locals in the area) and an ornament that I wanted personalized. In 10 minutes, Karen painted on the name and date for my friend. In January, I had a bracelet in need of repair. I didn't know where to take it. Then, I remembered the customer service provided at this shop. In one week my bracelet was ready and fits perfectly. They decorate for each season. The Christmas decor has been changed and ready for Valentine's day. A few years ago, I attended a fundraiser here. their inventory is very cute but if you're not white they not only barely acknowledge your arrival they also kind of follow you around without really even engaging with you which is such an outdated mentality in 2026..... the shop is quite small so they hover from a distance which is so uncomfortable if you're just trying to browse. i want to support them and give this store my business but it's very hard to take my time and follow through when you can sense you're being watched, feel unwelcome and even alienated because they think only a certain type of clientele is worth their time. read more

I've lived in the area for 18 years now and I'm pretty sure this is probably one of the best home decore and gift shops in the area!!! Great products and displays as soon as you walk through the door. It's Christmas in a couple weeks so snapping up stocking stuffers and one of a kind, handmade and upcycled gifts. There is an area of whole bean coffee for purchase and some snack products, all locally sourced from small businesses and wholesale. It also goes on to clothing, jewelry and accessories. How have I lived in this area so long, and just now found this shop? I have always loved the type of products Shabbyology sells, and had I known about this gem, I would have been a frequent patron. Just walking into the shop gives you a welcomed escape, and given our crazy times...let me tell you, it is a much needed sanctuary. All their beautiful decor and merchandise is a feast for the sense. If you are a lover of beautiful things, you must visit this shop. I just stumbled onto this shop on my search for a variety of chalk paint colors/furniture painting products...seeing as the local hardware stores have a very limited selection. Well, Shabbyology is one of the only Dixie Belle vendors remotely near me, so I had to visit them. I am totally new to furniture painting and the owner, Jackie, was such a patient and passionate wealth of information. I loved that her integrity beamed through in the way she didn't even try to "sell" me products, but merely shared on her personal experience with Dixie Belle products. I have been hearing about this place for a while and I finally decided to stop by! Oh my... it is absolutely adorable! They have a variety of home decor items and a couple of yummy goodies (including Murphy's famous brownies). It's a mini warehouse that was completely transformed. They have a little room where they offer various classes, another room to have tea parties or any kind of small party. It's the cutest. Their prices are reasonable! They carry lots of vintage items. Stopped by here today and was so glad I did! What a unique, fun stuff to browse through! Lots of one of a kind unique handmade items, vintage, jewlery, furniture, glasses, dishes, clothing, lots of "back in the day items!" Great prices also...affordable. They are featuring halloween right now in the front of the store and soon xmas items will come in she said. Was welcomed right away and everyone is super friendly and make you feel very welcome! They also offer craft classes! Parking if you are lucky is right up front by the door. Call for hours but usually open Fri/Sat/Sun. Shabbyology offers a few creative classes. Every chance I get I try and take one when I have the time. I am a vendor at the shop, so I make an initiative to learn more from the other vendors and creative class teachers. This afternoon, I took the Image Transfer Class and it was so educational and even more fun. Candice Strauss is the teacher for the Image Transfer class and you may have seen her work on Pinterest and Etsy. Her more notable piece of furniture went viral on Etsy and Pinterest, which was exciting to hear. Her business is called "Strauss Vintage Shoppe" and the stuff she upcycles is absolutely amazing. I've been meaning to take her class, and it finally happened. Worth every penny. I highly recommend it. I have also added some pictures of what she has made in the past, and what I made in her class. I can't wait to get started on my own personal projects using Image Transfer Techniques. read more

It's in a industrial complex facing the street, and that adds to the vintage and more vibe. They have repainted furniture, homemade items, soaps, candles, vintage home decor, purses and throws, and so much more. Paint and Paddles is sold there along with the free tutorials from the owner. This is a new shop in Covina. It's in a out of the way spot but so worth looking for. There are lots of really cute tables, chairs, desks & lots of decorative items. The prices are amazing. They are only open three days a month so you have to be aware. Take a look. You won't be sorry. The next time they're open is Sept 19-21. read more
