Dr Reinauer is the best retina specialist ever. He has saved my vision and I am beyond grateful. I have had 2 vitreous surgerys on my left and right eye. Stay away from this factory of care where the aim is to keep the assembly line moving without interruption. I found Dr Tate abrupt and indifferent. I first saw an assembly line of pleasant assistants who did their assigned task but referred all questions to Dr. Tate who I would see at the end of my visit. When Dr. Tate finally entered the room with a forced smile, he didn't answer my question about whether or not surgery was even warranted at this stage. He just nodded with an abrupt assurance I would be pleased with the results. Clearly, he just wanted to move on. I'd probably have overlooked all of this if I were happy with the results, but my vision is worse. When I called, I was told I needed to give it more time. I knew pursuing this would just be inviting a series of brushoffs. Stay away. Don't get trapped in this assembly line of care. read more

Be aware! I purchased an expensive pair of glasses after paying for an exam. The frames have broken and of course the warranty (1 yr.) had just expired. I called optical to learn also that they don't accept insurance. I now have great eyeglass coverage so i opted to purchase my frames somewhere else. My new optometrist called to get my script. They would not release my information without a $65.00 fee. He had never heard of this type of policy. I called and was told the same. I was told I had to pay $65.00 to get my own information! What a racket. Now i will have to pay for an additional exam i dont need. My new optometrist will take my insurance plus gave me a 20% discount. Also I get two years of complete coverage without an additional fee. Be sure you check out their policies and reviews before considering a vist. read more

If you want to feel like your in a cattle call this is the place for you. It's all about the money and how many they can process through a day. It's absurd to go here and spend 3-4 hours just trying to get an eye exam and see a doctor. They have zero respect for your time. And when asked if this is normal to be there that long the answer is "Yep" with a nice big smile on their face. It's truly disgusting. On another note, we saw Dr Sayed. Let's just say he added to the concrete decision to not come back. He wasn't personable, got frustrated when we asked questions to his vague answers and treated us as if we were an inconvenience to him. All after waiting 3 hours to see him. No thank you. Everyone has a choice who they would like to see and we will choose elsewhere. read more

New Vision Eye is a money pit. A team of talented Ophthalmologists with one goal of filling they're pockets with your hard earned dollar. Over crowded waiting rooms with excessive wait times sometimes over 2 hours. Follow up exam after follow up exam. Same tests over and over again. Then finally getting a quick visit by your doctor telling you "Everything's great!" now schedule another follow up appointment. Seems to never end!!!!! Bottom line..... went in with poor vision left with poor vision. Save some money and shop around read more

This review is about Dr. O'Brien. He had seen me several times recently, and at the last appointment he failed to review the records before coming into the room. I knew this because he quizzed me with the same questions I'd answered before, question after question. After every question he made the same recommendations he had before, which I had already told him don't work in my situation. It was exasperating. read more

I made it to my 8:15 appointment on time and had to wait for forty five minutes in the lobby. When a lady who arrived after me for the same doctor was called in ahead of me I asked the receptionist why . She informed me that my appointment was for 8:50 and it wasn't first come first serve. My appointment was for 8:15. I declined getting my eyes dilated because I was just there six months ago and was told then by Dr David O'Brien that it would not be necessary this time and the technician concurred. In Dr O'Brien's office he scolded me for not dilating my eyes . I reminded him of what he had said six months prior and he told me he sincerely doubted that . I told him he had or else I wouldn't have declined. Dr O'Brien then put his palm into my face telling me to let him talk .Up to this time, I thought we had been having dialect back-and-forth . He then asked me why I always have to be right . So I asked him the same question . He put a funny look on his face and wanted to start the exam . I told him we we done and I wanted my record's . ~sigh~I don't always have to be right , I just was in this case. I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessional before by a doctor who seemed to sincerely want to pick a fight with me . I actually had questions for him . Do not I repeat do not deal with this eye doctor office. I called them and inquired about a possible procedure and they refused to give me a cost. This office works by trying to charge patients upfront "consultation charges" in order to get paid whether or not you would move forward. Not being a clear upfront doctor is a clear sign to not trust them. I suggest anyone look for an office that is professional and upfront and looks to treat new patients properly. read more

I previously went to Dr. O'Brien at New Vision Eye Center for an extreme eye irritation. Turned out it was a small piece of metal. He was very professional and very thorough in the exam. He immediately extracted the metal and provided the right medications for quick recovery. I liked him so much I decide to see him about performing a lasik touchup (I had one 20 years ago elsewhere). After an extensive exam, he advised me that it was possible for him to perform, however, not recommended due to possible complications with my reading vision. His integrity, along with his knowledge and professionalism completely won me over. I will go to no other eye doctor from this point forward. read more

I was seeing white flashes of light in 1 eye. I called and they got me in in less than 2 hrs. I had never been there before we are snow birds. Dr. Reiuauer took care of my exam he did both eyes and found I had a torn retina. He preformed laser surgery on the eye. He informed me it would be uncomfortable (he didn't lie about that) because a nerve was in the way. He was very caring and through through the entire procedure. I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. O'Brien - I was extremely nervous about having eye surgery, I was worried I was going to be that small % that had a problem - well, not only did Dr. O'Brien help me relax and not freak out - he did an amazing job with my major correction (my contact prescription was -7 so I had almost a 700% correction in both eyes) - 3 months post surgery and I wonder why I waited so long. If you are thinking about eye surgery go have a consult with Dr. O'Brien - he was well worth the 60 minute drive for me! read more
