I have been coming to this vision center since the 4th grade, and I am now almost 32, and still come here. I drive from Sebastian as well now too. Dr Kris has been WONDERFUL all the years I've gone to him. Recently I was seen by a new Dr, Dr Hinton, and she is AMAZING! I have been struggling for a while with my vision changing and she really took the extra time to sit with me to make sure my lenses were the PERFECT prescription. She is kind, caring, and patient. I had a new patient appt 11:20 and signed in at 11:25. I am a Busy full time RN with limited time off . How RUDE they were. I should have known they would do this to me. The place looked dated and staff was not professional looking for a medical office. Thumbs down for getting my business. Imagine if I needed semi- emergent eye care. Dr. Smith and his staff are absolutely amazing. We have been going to Lenscrafters for the past few years and it's been just Meh- after today's visit to Dr. Smith, I know what I have been missing. He is amazing, I have never seen better- he corrected both my daughter and my contact lens prescription and I can see perfectly now, I had no idea we were wearing the wrong prescriptions. I highly recommend you come here if you are looking for a real Optomologist. Also. the selection of glasses is A+++ so many cute frames it took me forever to pick out a new pair but I can't wait until they are ready. I've been coming to Dr. Smith since I was a kid. He is very fun to work with, and all the assistants out front are ridiculously nice. You won't feel uncomfortable or unwelcome here at all. Vision Plus also has a huge selection of glasses and sunglasses, so it's very difficult NOT to find something you like. The only cons are the prices (if you aren't friendly with Doc, who gives discounts to regulars) and the wait, even if you have an appointment. Quick appointments or just dropping in to grab some new contacts don't really happen here. read more

Absolutely Horrific Eye Care Business Avoid this place at all cost !! My Wife and I visited this place November 2021, and have yet to get any resolution to our issues. We do not want them examine us, we don't want them making us glasses. We want our money back for goods and services never received! #1. The contracted eye exam doctor that saw me and my wife did not do both our exams correctly. My wife has 20/15 distance vision, but this quake said she needs glasses for driving for distance. He absolutely rushed thru her exam and my exam also. He never reviewed the expensive back of the eye pictures with me like he did with my wife. He rushed thru my exam also. #2. The lady attending us for our glasses fitting was sick. She wanted me to take my mask off while she was sniffling. Just not the right thing for this business to do, allow sick employees to come in and work. #3. 2 weeks later me and my wife returned to check our new glasses. My wife's glasses were both blurry for far and near vision, and made her sick to wear them. My glasses made my far and near vision worse than my old glasses I wear now. What was really funny, was the girl told us to take them home and get used to the blurriness. We said no. #4. It is now the middle of January 2022, and We do not have any glasses, and the exam that was given was a botched exam by someone whom said his eye clinic had failed, so he was doing contract work. I can see why! #5. The clinic has said we should come back in and let them redo the exams and glasses with another doctor. NOW that is NOT going to happen. BUT miracles do happen, the manager called and will refund my out of pocket money, but not my insurance money. So, I had to go there to get my credit card refunded 600$. Thank goodness this is over!! read more

We were in Vero for a baseball tournament when my son lost his glasses in the beach. It was 3pm when it happened. I immediately got on google and started searching for places. We went to Wal-Mart first and were told it would take at least 3 days to get glasses. My son is nearly blind without glasses, we didn't have 3 hours let alone 3 days. We asked for suggestions. She have us a few places. The first place I called I was told, "we close at 5, sorry." I crossed my fingers and called Vision Plus. They told me to come on in and they would see what they could do. I had called and gotten our Dr. from Louisville to fax me the Rx. When we arrived it was already 4:30. They looked at the Rx and determined they had the lenses in stock. The gentleman that helped us was great, too bad I forgot his name. He lead us over to the clearance frames helped my son pick something out. According to my receipt I paid the bill and was finished with new glasses at 5:08pm. It was a miserable 2 hrs for my son, but this place made our night. The glasses were super affordable, thank God since I was on vacation and wasn't planning to buy them. read more
