Very unprofessional. Purchased a Groupon for window cleaning. Appointment was set for 6 weeks later. The day of the appointment, only an hour prior, received a text (not even a call) saying the appointment needed to be rescheduled. Asked if there would be anything offered for this inconvenience since I had to take off work and was only just informed the day of and was told no. I then advised that I would take the updated appointment date but that I would be leaving a review on the commentary given. Beware if you buy the LivingSocial Deal - you will not leave without an upcharge. Purchased the gutter cleaning for $69 which was a good deal. Made sure that my gutter length was within the specified fine print. Originally scheduled the appointment for Saturday morning. Dispatcher called me Saturday morning and told me it was too cold and they would come Sunday. No show on Sunday and no call. They texted me on Monday and said they would be there in 30 minutes. Fortunately, I was off work so I was home when they arrived. Crew of 2 showed up and checked the roof. They said there was too much mud and debris in the gutters and it would be $45 extra dollars on the spot or they would leave and I had to cancel the Living Social Coupon. The fine print does not say anything about this extra charge. The only relevant item says "$1.25 per foot applies to heavily wooded areas or overflow". Neither applies in my case. Since I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of hiring another gutter cleaning service I told them to go ahead. They finished in less than 45 minutes even with all the "extra work". I argued with the guy and told him I would give him $25 since I thought that was fair. He refused. I ended up giving him $40 so he would leave and that was that. read more
