This was the 1st time I've ever left my vehicle overnight at a shop - Restorify is trustworthy. Price point is reasonable compared to competitors. There were two issues. However, Jesus provided SOLUTIONS. 1. Issue: Minor scratches in the initial appointment were overlooked. Solution: Acknowledgment, deducted $100 from total, & completed touchups free of charge. 2. Issue: A technician left shoe prints on a floor-mat. Solution: Acknowledgment and scheduled an interior & exterior car cleaning by NoSwirls Garage free of charge.

I'm not one to go out of my way to write a bad review, but I found my experience with this auto…read moreshop to be particularly bad and want to make people aware of what they will potentially be dealing with. I was having problems with my battery, so I took my car here. They told me I needed a new battery. First of all, the price they wanted to charge me for the battery was significantly higher than anything I could find online, so I asked them to find a cheaper one. They did so, and I chalked that up to not being a car guy and the fact that after all, the shop does need to make money, which I understand. My understanding is that it's pretty standard for the diagnosis fee to be applied to repairs across many auto shops, and this shop advertises that right on their wall. It was one of the reasons I chose to give them my business. So when I saw the diagnostic fee not applied whatsoever to my final bill (400+ for them to change a battery), I asked them why. I got "oh I can do a $70 discount", as if they were doing me a favor. I told them that they advertise applying the diagnosis fee towards the total bill, to which they said "that is not true", and I told them it's right on their wall, which apparently the guy on the phone wasn't aware of. I ended up getting to talk to the "manager", who was pretty argumentative with me, and also tried to deny the existence of the advertisement. When I told him that I saw it with my own two eyes, he then tried to debate me on the definition of "advertising". He then said that the policy of applying the diagnostic fee towards the bill only applies for bills over either 1k or 10k (can't remember which it was). Whatever, I just wanted to be done with them at this point, so I took the $70 discount and moved on with my life. Or so I thought. I recently went to get in my car after letting it sit for a few days only for it to not start up (the original problem I took my car into this shop for). It was dead dead, couldn't even be jumped. I eventually called triple A, and they got it to start with their power jumper. I got a battery test done, and although the battery was fine, there is apparently an issue with the charging system. It sucks, but because of my original experience with this shop, I can't help but wonder if this was the issue from the start.. but obviously, I can't say so for sure, so take it with a grain of salt. I will say, the mechanics and desk workers themselves were quite friendly, but the manager was more interested in debating me than honoring what's on his own wall. Not a great experience overall.

I brought my jeep into Gili's with some front end damage, Orna made a great impression from the start and was straightforward with the whole process I'd needed to go through with my insurance to getting it into the garage. Upon dropping my car off I was made clear of a timeline and the process my car would be undergoing, whether it was adjustment, ordering more parts, insurance related things, the whole lot. I was kept in the loop everytime my insurance was involved, I was told what parts were being ordered, when they were expected to arrive and what was going on. I was not left in the dark and felt part of the entire process. That's something I'm not used to when dealing with garages and it was a breath of fresh air. I just picked my jeep up this morning (it was finished a day ahead of when they originally expected) and I'm blown away with everything. The car looks amazing, runs better, and is squeaky clean! As someone who does a lot of my own vehicle upkeep I'm always terrified when dealing with garages for fear of being ripped off or given the run around, and my car means a lot to me. They quoted me around $2,950 for an oil housing replacement, while the dealership quoted $3,000. So there is basically no price advantage at all. Then it got worse. On the first day, they gave me my car back without the underbody cover at all. When I came to pick it up, I clearly told them that I would take the cover myself and they didn't need to install anything, but instead they handed me someone else's cover, which does not even fit my car. On top of that, I had insurance that was supposed to cover specific damage, but they opened a claim for everything they possibly could, creating unnecessary complications. I would not recommend it to anyone.
