I am a 67 year old grandfather who was recently widowed and hadn't been able to bring myself to get a pedicure without my wife. I decide today was the day and stopped at one salon as they take walk-in's but they were rude and couldn't understand why I was there and said I needed to see the manager. I left when they rudely said come back in 40 mins. I called this salon and they cheerfully said come now we'll take care of you. Mary was my nail tech and she did a fantastic job. I went in on Thursday 6/13 for a full gel set and toes to be painted. I had just gotten my toes done the week before- so I just wanted color change to match the nails. They charged me $15 for color change. Wow. Aside of that though- I paid $65 and within 2 days the nails were already lifting. Day 3 of having them done- the thumb nail popped off. I always end up getting one. The pedicure chairs are so comfortable, and you get to decide the massage style you'd want while they work in your hands and toes! Another major plus! If you go in there with design options, they'll always try their best and ask if it's what you're looking for. This goes the same with the color options. Once you choose your color, they'll show you on the nail what it will look like so you can decide if you still like it. They have tons and tons of SNS/dip powder colors, gel and regular, too. They offer water or tea (during the fall and winter months), and now during COVID-19, they have shields done in a tasteful manner. read more

We had a Bridal party of 5+ come for the following services 1 pedicure and manicures SNS polish 2 paraffin wax pedicure with gel polish 1 manicure gel polish 2 manicure SNS polish The Yelp app advised their was a 5% discount off services. The owner refused to redeem. There were no prices for gel polish listed on the price chart; the owner advised it was an $15 up charge for it after services were rendered. The paraffin wax was extremely hot and not applied correctly. The gel polish was not applied incorrectly and very thick. The nail tech didn't understand the desired services spoken in English. read more

The owners provided the services although they were very friendly they didn't do a good job, I have to asked to get my nails check for ingrown and in fact it was a huge piece of nail taken from both feet. When they did the manicure the hands, the cuticles were never manicure...they didn't even put my or my husbands hands to soften in warm water neither they manage or do anything but to trim them and filed them.....the hand polish cracked and came out by pieces the very next day. I wish they will provide better service because they keep the place clean and they use disinfectants and disposable linings between customers. Unfortunately I won't recommend the services. read more

I came in and had several other people come in behind me & they all got sat and started on before me. I sat in the front waiting and then they moved me next to someone already getting their nails done. 45 minutes go by, no one speaks to me. No one starts working on me. When asked about the wait time or how much longer it would be, I was told that it would be "soon" and then they walked away. They need a real lesson in customer service. The wait I understand, not speaking to me after almost an hour is ridiculous. read more

New York Nails was the first place I went based on their great reviews and now, almost a year later, and it's still the only place I will go to get my nails done. The owners are extremely nice and take the time to get to know their clients. They also do an amazing job and make sure you're happy with their work. I've only been here once before a couple days ago and only got a manicure, but I have to recognize how great this place is! Usually most nail places try to rush you out with properly drying your nails, but this place didn't!!! The owner, I believe, took my card out and left me to sign my receipt, but told me that there was no hurry, and she made sure my nails were completely dry before letting me go. I would recommend to call ahead because this place can get pretty busy! The only awkward thing was the wait, but even then they were extremely professional about it, and offered me water! I use to go to New York Nail salon in Loganville for years, until the new owners took over. They were advertising 30% off of all services, so I decided to give them a try. I came in for a fill in and one nail fix. The nail tech tried to charge me $30...So basically the 30% discount is used to jack the prices up to make people believe their getting a good deal! I shared my experience on Facebook and the same nail tech went back and forth with me about how high quality their products are and how much they spent on furniture and paint. Mind you, I've been going there for years..same furniture..but anyway when I asked her why had the charge for eyebrows went up? Are they now using some kind of magical wax? She deleted me from their page. A smart business owner use customer experiences to do better. In this world of social media you can't delete or hide from providing bad customer service! The staff are super sweet! They always make sure you're satisfied with what they do, and every sense I have been going there they have never left me unsatisfied. There great at doing eye brows & attending to a certain person. I have gone to many many different nails salons there, USA nails, the one in Walmart , but the sprint store near racetrack & many more of their competitors nearby. I won't ever go anywhere else now. New York Nails used to be my favorite place to go to but since they changed owners/management it's terrible. It was EXTREMELY hot in there to start with then I thought I would get great service knowing I was the only person in there but I was wrong. Both ladies doing my manicure and pedicure RUSHED through my nails like they were in a hurry to get out of there. They barely took the time to get my hang nails and do a good job. My shellac was done in 30 MINUTES! They usually take AN HOUR at least at any other place I go to even when they are extremely crowded! I was very disappointed and annoyed. I used to go to New York nails all the time. I havnt been recently and went today.. Worst service ever!!! The lady rushed doing my pedicure and manicure and did a horrible job at that. There were only 3 of us in the salon and they were my friends.. No need to rush me. I also overheard the lady telling a customer on the phone that she could not come in right then because they were too busy..no one was in the salon except me at the time.
