I love coming here, they all do a great job. All the technicians are great, nice and respectful. However, I'm convinced they do NOT have a loyalty program as they promote they do. I've come for at least 6 months now and use their electronic sign in system with my phone number which I'm told I will get text message once a new discount offer is available. I've NEVER received a text for an offer. Me and my daughter come together most of the time so it's two services that I pay for. Nothing. How do they tie these services I get to the phone number?? They stated they will check when I ask before i sit for my services but there are no details provided before I leave. None. They just offer me a quick discount for the services I received that day. Has ANYONE reading this and have gone to them for a while EVER been sent a loyalty discount offer to their phone number like they have stated should happen? I asked to get my ACRYLIC POWDER removed, and gel polish on top + regular polish on my feet. She carelessly ripped, and pryed my acrylics off when i asked her not to. She told me soaking would take a hour, when she could've been soaking them as I got my pedicure....My thumb nail was very stubborn coming off, and it BROKE THE CLIPPERS hurting my nail. I told her I didn't want her to do it anymore, leaving me with only 2 of my nails removed and the other 8 all tore up and raggedy. My natural nails are very strong and she ruined them before i could even get gel polish to preserve them. She rather remove them quick and careless, than to wait and soak them. IM GETTING GRL POLISH. False advertisement & overpriced What they have on their website and the form they give you when you get in the chair are completely different. I wanted a deluxe mani pedi and they overcharged $16 not honoring their online prices. Also, my "deluxe" manicure took 5 minutes and there was no massage. During checkout, I tried to use a coupon from their website and was told it was too old (no expiration date on it) and she maybe would have done it had I printed it out. I use to like this place a lot before they tried to remake everything and start scamming customers. Never again! I started coming here when my favorite nail technician, Tiffany, left the other salon she was at. Have to say best decision I could have made! The salon staff and owner are always very friendly and professional. You get greeted by everyone the minute you walk in! I like the fact that they all work together as a team and you don't have any staff bickering. I love the wall of nail polish and gel polish options! So many colors to choose from. They even have the polishs labeled with a dot and number, if there is a matching color in gel and regular polish. I like my nails and pedicures to look a certain way. I might be a bit "particular". Best spa pedicure I have ever had. (Much better than the spa resort, Chateau Elan at a fraction the cost) Manicure was awesome as well! I got a deluxe spa pedicure for $30 which included a callus treatment, hot stone massage on feet and lower legs as well as exfoliating treatment and a foot masque. My feet and legs felt amazing afterwards. The spa is very sanitary and I love that they line the foot baths with a plastic liner so every guest gets a clean and sanitary bowl. I got regular polish on my toes, it's perfect and still looks new two weeks later. The manicure was well done as well, and includes and mini shoulder and neck massage. The gel polish I got on my nails still looks amazing two weeks later. This will definitely be my go-to nail salon from now on! read more

Being from out of state , I decided to come here after reading other positive reviews. This is, by far, the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon ! Before going on a beach vacation, I decided to have a gel manicure . Emma did a great job on my pedicure , and she listened when I told her that my feet are sensitive , and that this was my third pedicure in my entire life . After sharing with her how , in the past , I had been cut during a pedicure in Baton Rouge, she then understood my anxiety . Also , I am a nurse , and sanitation is important in any salon . These people met and actually exceeded my expectations ! Kim did my manicure , but all of the workers here do a good job. Though they do chat with each other , this did not impact the quality of the professional job they both did . They were very careful to be gentle , and the massage pedicure chair, and warm welcome I received was above and beyond any salon experience I have ever experienced . These workers deserve kudos ... And I gave each girl a large tip... And when I left , they hugged me goodbye and suggested that I move to the area ... It was worth every dollar that I spent! I've been here a good amount of times since it was so close to my home but always a sub par job whenever they did my nails. What frustrates me the most about this place is when I took my little sister here for a simple mani her nail literally FELL OFF even though she has never had any prior issues at all with her nails. I've also had Kevin, Nancy, and Lynn do my nails - all have done great as well. The super deluxe pedicure is 40 dollars, and it is the most relaxing and awesome pedicure ever! (don't come on weekends, you really miss out on them taking their time if you come when its busy). Their gel manicures are also fantastic ($25)! I find that if I get the IBD or OPI brand gel - it lasts at least 2 weeks. The Gelish brand - I have had trouble with. Anyway, I highly recommend!!! read more

I just moved to Buford and decided to try out Nail Doctor. I got a pink & white and a pedicure. I've been three times and unfortunately I will not return. On this last visit my left big toe was shaped square and my right toe was round and much longer (so much longer it looks awkward). My pink and white was so disappointing. 3 of my nails were crooked. I said something a couple of times, but the tech seemed annoyed. I am not one to make a scene. I went home and tried to file them. Perhaps, it was because she did them at the same time as my pedicure. I will say they all greet you always say hello. It was my first time here a few days ago, and I came because I read all the positive reviews. The workers didn't greet me nicely as all the reviews say. They weren't mean, but they weren't friendly either. My technician was quiet for the most part, and when she spoke it was to talk to the other technicians in their native language. As for the actual service itself, it was not "bad". I got the $30 deluxe pedicure, and she used hot stones to massage my legs. She massaged my legs for a long time (which is fantastic normally), but she did not put a single pressure to the hot stones against my legs. So it was more like a "hot stone rub" rather than a massage. To be completely honest, I didn't feel a thing. It was not satisfying at all. It was neat to feel the warmth of the stones, and also it was new.. because nail salons usually don't use hot stones for pedicures.. However, actually getting to enjoy the massage? I was just waiting for it to be over. I rather skip the leg "rubbing". I enjoy a massage. My technician's hands were real strong though, because for the very short time that she was putting the exfoliating scrubs on my legs, I was like.. "Wooo yeah! This is good".. But it was very short lived, and that massage never came back. All the rest were fine. Shaping, painting, they were fine. The only main concern with me.. Which is the reason why I'll most likely never go back, is that I have two in-grown nails. ***I know those hurt normally, and I can handle the pain. But this lady, she dug and cut my skin, and made me bleed. Okay, I KNOW that when we are cutting out in-grown nails, that sometimes, they are very deep..and bleeding is unavoidable. This lady really did not cut mine right though. She just cut my skin off, and in the end, she didn't cut my ingrown off. It was still left there, and in worse condition. My toe is still really swollen right now, and very sore when I touch it even the slightest bit. I had to go to another nail salon to get rid of the in-growns today, and thank goodness it's finally gone. But because of the technician from Nail Doctor, my toe has been swollen and every time I push it, it seems like pus is coming out.(In other words, I got an infection.) :/ Overall, would I recommend this place? Sure. I would still recommend it to friends AS LONG as they do NOT have in-grown nails. Be sure to ask for a good massage though. Honestly I can live without the hot stones. If you do have ingrowns, then opt for another place. read more

So after saw some good reviews, I decided to go there today to get my mani and pedi done. At first they were pretty nice, ask me how I like my nails to be done, so I showed them the ombre nails picture that I saved on my phone, they said they got it. But I was shocked they couldn't do ombre nails at all. I explained to them and they just don't understand me! So I said just use one color then. (they already painted pink on my toe nails), I didn't really like that dark pink color so I told them to remove it, paint soft pink instead, they didnt remove it, just put soft pink color on top of the dark pink. I didn't feel comfortable but she wouldn't redo it. Then another lady was ready to do my manicure, the pedi lady put my shoes on before my toe nails dried and messed up few of them. My gel manicure is nice but still they don't have good attitude, feel like they were rushing everything. That was my first experience at Nail Doctor. I wouldn't go there again. read more

So i just moved to the area and decided to explore my local nail salons. I started here, based in my experience I think I'm going to keep exploring. I gave them 2 stars because my pedicure technician did do a good job. I got a deluxe spa pedi which included a hot stone massage, which I didn't really care for. My mani technician I cared more about her conversation with the guy doing my toes then she did about my mani. She was so into her conversation (which was in Vietnamese) that she cut me! Anyways I can deal with being accidentally cut, but if you cut me and make me bleed because you are too busy talking and can't even bother to stop your conversation for a second to acknowledge the fact that you screwed up and at least apologize I have a problem. I just think it's rude to talk for 30 min straight about who knows what and not even make an effort to talk to your paying customer. Oh and I didn't even receive the massage that comes with the mani, it must have slipped her mind. Long story short I left my pedi tech a $4 tip because he was chit chatting the whole time too but at least he didn't cut me and completed the described pedi package. But my mani tech I have her $2 and boy was she upset. She just snatched my tip and walked off no thank you come again nothing sorry for cutting, just nothing. And if you're wondering if she knew English, she did. She spoke it pretty well wen she was up selling. read more
