Brown rotten meat, supposed to be Linguica and pineapple pizza.
    Ashley A.

Rotten meat. This is supposed to be a linguiça and pineapple pizza. I am Portuguese so I know what linguiça is supposed to look like and smell like as soon as I open the box to this pizza it smelled rotten. I'm not sure how they even put the pizza in the box and thought it was OK to deliver. We often order from this pizza place, but I will not be returning ever again. Bro, the linguica is BROWN! We tossed the entire pizza. I'm so appalled.

Asked for half and half. They put all toppings on 1 side ;(

The worst experience at a pizza place EVER! The person answering the phone had a thick accent and I thought they were going to screw up my order, and they did. I ordered half pineapple and half mushroom. They put all the toppings on one side. I asked for a salad with ranch, they only brought ranch. The driver called from the street asking me to come down and get it, but someone from the pizza joint left a coupon on my door so they know how to get it. Forgot my salad. And the pizza tasted bad. I'm back charging it and never will go back, hopefully this review will save ppl from a horrible experience

Bay Area, listen up!!!!! Stop playing with me.... The best New York Pizza you're ever going to get, period point blank, is in my HOMETOWN HAYWARD! A st New York pizza has been putting it down since I was 19 yrs old, lol. 21 years later and they are still putting it down. The original New York Pizza aside from NY! I know I know, some will argue and say Tennyson New York pizza was the original but to me these guys are the original bc they have the best tasting toppings and they've been consistent for decades. You get what you pay for no doubt. While everyone else is being cheap with their toppings super skimpy, This place gives you exactly what you ask for. I drove literally an hour from the South Bay just to pick up a pizza from Hayward. Shame on the rest of you pizza parlors! None of you guys are even competing with these guys. Even funnier, they're under new ownership. Paul's family sold it, but guess what? The new owners didn't change a thing. The pizza is still amazing. Especially their ground beef and beef pepperoni. My fiance and I are Muslim, I don't eat pork, so this place has everything beef, which is so nice since everyone else always has pork. They have great customer service, and the people running it are sweethearts. I'm going to post close-up pictures of the pizza. I'm never going to go anywhere else when craving pizza. I guess I'm going to have to drive an hour to get to my old school pizza joint. Thanks, guys, for keeping it original. See you guys again.

1st time at this location, I grew up eating at the Tennyson location. Not sure if they're the same owners. Here's a breakdown of my review. Location: The are on a Main Street (A St), but they're somewhat hidden and there's lots of ghetto people in their parking lot. Ambiance: It's inside a liquor store. So this is NOT A SIT DOWN spot. Service: They were nice and were quick. Food: We ordered a XL Pizza (BBQ Chicken & Pepperoni) & an order of buffalo wings (10 pieces). The wing were cooked good and I liked the flavor, however they had a unclean taste. Like they're fresh wings not washed or cleaned properly before cooking. The pizza was just alright. Nothing to rave about in a good or bad way, it was just...meh. I will say, they were generous with the ingredients, because at other places they're skimpy with the toppings.

    Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza

The food was pretty good, and reasonable prices. This time I had the chicken Tika masala which I recommended along with the vegetarian pizza and a side of garlic breadstick.

Here is the super dry over cooked pizza w burnt edges

UPS sent me my package here, so I came to pick it up and decided to order pizza since, I'm here. Well the pizza was super overly cooked. As u can see in the pic. Soo over cooked the sauce was dry and the crust super crunchy and rough. The cheese was like one piece. You know cheese usually stretches when u bite into it? This one didn't! I don't know if I just happen to have bad luck and they forgot to take the pizza out or if this is usually how the pizza turns out? I just know that I will not be coming here for pizza again. I need more sauce and less time cooking. My jaw literally hurt after eating it.. so tough. Are used to live in New York for seven years and I'm disappointed that they call themselves New York pizza. No way!!!

    20 inch sausage, sun-dried tomato,and pepperoni pie ($20.99)
    David D.

This is excellent pizza for when you need it delivered. I recently wanted to order some pizza for a few friends but did not want to order from a chain. I ordered a 20-inch "party size" pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and sun-dried tomatoes online via Yelp. The pizza itself was very good--the sauce and crust were awesome. The delivery came on time and the pizza was hot. Price was a good value; when you order via yelp the charge is around 2 bucks btw. As a funny side note, the box was huge (because the pizza was over 20 inches across) and luckily I had it because I couldn't find an umbrella on a recent rainy day; well, the box was a great shelter lol. I'm almost tempted to order the larger 'King Kong' size pizza just to see what type of box that is--luckily, I have wide doors. I believe this establishment lives up to its name as far as NY style pizza and we will be ordering from here again!

Figured it was worth a try. On my first visit, the posted opening hours were from 12:00-10:00, but nobody was at the restaurant manning the window or the counter when I arrived. Second visit happened to be later in the afternoon, about 2pm. I got two slices of pizza, pepperoni and mushroom. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. The website says they are open at 12:00, but it's very rare to actually have them be fully open and ready to serve food at that time.

They were able to accommodate a huge group. 12 teens, 2 coaches and us parents. We did make reservations prior to coming in. It was very spacious and it didn't feel like we took up the whole restaurant at all with our big group. We ordered a variety of pizzas, salads and apps. The food came out in a fast timely manner. We had put an order ahead so the restaurant was expecting us. Niche and his team were attentive. They gave us a mic to use when we were making some announcements and playing games. Some of the girls wanted to sing karaoke and Niche made that possible as well. This establishment also has an arcade and laser tag in the next room. Our group was too busy with our own activities that we did not have time to check it out but that is something cool that they have. We get there and see a few employees just sitting around in the booths/tables chilling watching TV. We just assumed they were on their breaks. It was a ghost town in there at 6:30p, which we found odd. Walked up to the front register and nobody was there, we heard a few people in the kitchen talking and laughing, we kept saying "Hello!" and nobody came up front to greet us, so we walked to the side of the kitchen to get their attention. We saw a female employee sitting up in the front area with her boyfriend just chit chatting and didn't say nothing to us as we just stood there waiting for someone to take our orders. Total shit show for service, the owner was there and didn't care that all his employees just sat around not doing shit. There were 3 tables that were cluttered with leftover pizza and food. Also the kids were asking about the "Arcade" and they told us it's only open on weekends, that was one of the main reason we came there, there wasn't anything on Yelp or signage saying that the arcade was only open weekends big disappointment. Even though the serviced royally SUCKED!!! The pizza, jalapeno twists, and chicken wings were really good. They give you free water but it had some nasty taste to it, so we had to buy some bottled water from them. The little touch screen device where you order your food charges you for Ranch Dressing .75 each, but the owner said don't worry about the Ranch, it's free and we don't charge for that, then why is it on there? So if the owner isn't there, you'll have to pay for it. All in all, I would definitely come back for just the food and do take out.

I'd say almost near the size of a small pizza only it's not a perfect circle. One slice of chuck wagon and one slice of pepperoni. One fountain drink at 3.5 and fruit punch on tap as the other flavors are the local distribution brand that I'm not fond of. The pizza is about mid grade in quality. It won't overwhelm you, but it will satisfy the urge to try their pizza. I prefer the Niles location. I was in the area so I figured I'd give it a try. It's located way up on the hill behind UC EAST BAY in an out of the way strip mall tucked in the back. Pretty nice, not spectacular. If you need a place to have a pizza party this might be the place. The fruit punch is on tap and it's delicious. Bring good music to brighten up the environment.
