My five stars is a bit over due but u ordered Branco Billy's today and had to write my review. My rating is based on their gluten free pizza! It's the best I've had thus far! It comes only in 12" and is totally worth the cost. I ordered it without buying a separate pizza for my household. My son didn't realize it was gluten free until I mentioned it. The crust is thin and crispy and delicious from start to finish! Also, don't miss out on their mango habanero wings! I stopped going because they're a bit pricey but having a good, non cauliflower, pizza is so valuable! read more

I usually go to the Niles location in Fremont. By far more superior than here. This place shows its age. It has history, but ancient dingy odors kind of linger, but also a lot of ancient country western memorabilia is available for your eyes to observe and astonish over. They also have a DEADPOOL pinball machine that looks amazing, but I was unable to have the time to enjoy it. I ordered two slices of pizza. They come pretty big. I'd say almost near the size of a small pizza only it's not a perfect circle. One slice of chuck wagon and one slice of pepperoni. One fountain drink at 3.5 and fruit punch on tap as the other flavors are the local distribution brand that I'm not fond of. The pizza is about mid grade in quality. It won't overwhelm you, but it will satisfy the urge to try their pizza. I prefer the Niles location. I was in the area so I figured I'd give it a try. It's located way up on the hill behind UC EAST BAY in an out of the way strip mall tucked in the back. Pretty nice, not spectacular. If you need a place to have a pizza party this might be the place. This was a luncheon invite. The one star is due to the ambiance and food. Ambiance: old wet tiles, so I didn't even bother with the restroom. Chicken wings: ordered lemon chicken wings - got overdone wings, which took away the flavor. Pizza was okay, looked great! My tap beer I don't think they keep the mugs in a fridge...beer meh!! This restaurant is a bit dated but the walls are adorned with great western themed props, decor, and movie posters, and there's a small arcade along with one TV turned on while I was there. Service was sufficient, the place well staffed with an adequate number of employees, even midweek, to take care of customers. My pizza was ready in 10-15 minutes as quoted. I ordered a small size of the chuck wagon specialty. The crust was slightly undercooked and the pizza not cut all the way through, but it was loaded with melted cheese and delicious savory meats and veggies, the toppings spread all the way to the edge. Also, for sides of ranch, they serve ken's steak house which is better than hidden valley brand IMO. My favorite Bronco Billy's pizzeria is in Niles, but the Hayward location's not bad. read more

Cancelled my order last minute when i had lunch ordered for all of my office. Really shitty.

Super soggy :( Came with a group and we each ordered a slice. Unfortunately, everything but the crust was so drenched that it soaked through the parchment paper and into the box. My toppings were ham, pineapple, with jalapeños. It could've used more time in the oven too, since the toppings weren't charred at all. I liked their soda fountain options. Service was ok, but it did take a while for our orders to be ready. I think I prefer the Union City location. read more

We came into town to visit family so we came here for lunch. It was busy when we got there so we went on the wait list. It's kinda small so get there when you can! There's tables or a bar to sit at. We ordered the Bull Durham Extra large pizza (there was 5 of us) and we finished it all! The pizza was perfect. We got Cajun and lemon pepper wings, lemon pepper was my favorite out of the two but both were amazing! The cheesy garlic bread was yummy! Crispy crust and soft and yummy cheesy garlicky bread. They also service pizza by the slice! We didn't order that but we saw others get it and our family has gotten it by the slice before and it literally looks like a small pizza! Came in last week. Ordered 3 slices. 1 was a cheese pizza. I check all the pizzas before I left because they say no refunds. Well the cheese was burnt on top. It was obviously burnt. And I told one of the employees and he said that's how they are usually prepared but I told him I went there a month ago and it was perfect. He was trying to convince me to take it and I told him no I want another one. And he seemed hesitant and told the cook and said he'd replace it. Like it's obviously burnt quit trying to persuade me to take the dang burnt pizza. No family vibe anymore just young kids that don't have good customer service and can't cook pizza. read more

This is easily the worst pizza place I've ever been to. They have a local monopoly in Niles district of Fremont, formerly the town of Niles. The pepperoni slice was a big plate of burned and greasy slop that I should've sent back but I forced myself to eat as it was almost closing time. My family and I were in the area around lunch, and thought we would give this pizza joint a try since we have heard of it before. We love a good pizza, my husband being a former pizza maker, and Bronco Billy's didn't disappoint. Eating with three small children is never an easy task, but when we sat down, there were two TV playing Secret Life of Pets 2 and Scooby Doo. We don't always have a meal with devices, but this took out the need. Along with TVs on the walls, there were classic western movie posters and antique tools to look at. Service from the young lady at the register was professional, polite, and with a smile. When we were leaving, she was enjoying her break, and even said good bye and to come back! By far the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I attempted to place an order over the phone with Andrea, and from the very beginning she was extremely rude and dismissive. She sounded annoyed to even be taking my order and came off like she couldn't care less about helping me. I noticed the website had coupons, and when I asked about them, she abruptly told me they don't have nor accept coupons--no explanation, no courtesy. Since I'm not from the area, I wanted to double-check that I had called the correct business. Instead of simply confirming, she questioned me in a way that felt condescending, saying "you dont know who you're calling?" almost as if she was trying to make me feel stupid for asking. Even though she was rude throughout the call, I stayed polite and eventually asked why she was speaking to me that way. Her response? She casually asked if I was "going to order or not," with zero regard for how she was treating a customer. This experience was unprofessional, unpleasant, and honestly enough to keep me from ever ordering from this location. I instead placed an order with another location who provided awesome service and confirmed that their location does accept coupons. Came here to try their pizza and the vibes were great! It gives an old school western back in the day feel which is hard to find these days. Rustic is probably the right word - but in a great way! The decor transports you do another region it seems. Prices are reasonable and great for kids with some old school arcade games. Tried their combo pizza, hawaiian, chicken and bell pepper and all were great! Dough very fluffy and soft, highly recommend! I definitely want to go back and try other flavors and apps! Normally, when we bought a slice you got a large slice that had crispy crust and took up the size of a paper plate in its own pizza box. This time we ordered 2 slices and it cost more than a small pizza and both fit in one box (3 small squares each) Won't be coming back considering we paid $32 for two slices and 2 drinks and we could have got a small pizza for less. read more

First of all i already know that fridays are quite busy, but that's not even the issue. The pizza is " little league" at best. The pizza is loaded with cheese and makes the crust soggy. I called on New Year's Eve to place a pickup order and understand that it was a busy night. When a female staff member answered the phone, her tone immediately came across as irritated. She told me "well there's over a hour wait," which I said was fine, and she proceeded to take my order (begrudgingly). Unfortunately, throughout the call she was extremely short, cut me off when I tried to clarify part of my order, and made the interaction uncomfortable enough that I ultimately chose not to place the order and hung up. I fully recognize that working on a holiday like NYE can be stressful, but there is still an expectation of basic courtesy and customer service. It is not the customers fault that she is working on a holiday. I thought maybe this was a one off and she was having a bad shift/day, but then I read other reviews and see this has been a known, ongoing issue. This experience was disappointing, as it felt unwelcoming and unnecessary. I hope this feedback can be used as an opportunity to reinforce customer service expectations, even during busy or challenging shifts. Went here on a Saturday evening, the cashier told us it'll take 25-30 minutes for 2 slices and the 12 wings that we ordered. We ordered beers while we wait. It's been more than an hour and nothing, people after us got their orders. Later I asked the cashier if our order is ready, she said it should come out soon. Later on she came and asked us what we ordered because they lost the tag.. I came here years ago and honestly it was way better back then.. honestly I would not come back here again because of this experience. Still as good as I remember! My husband and I used to come here all the time when we attended CSUEB. We happened to be in the area and decided to drive up here for old times sake. We were excited to see how absolutely nothing has changed not only with the decor but the food. A slice is still massive and honestly, enough for one person. In all the years that I've been going to Bronco Billy's more than one location, Fremont, Union City, and now Hayward pizza is always consistent. I love their slices. I order the pepperoni, linguica jalapeño and extra cheese slice the slices are so big. They are not your normal average size. It's like a mini or a small pizza. Their wings are delicious. I order them extra saucy. This particular location is mostly employed by college students near the campus and even so I've never had bad service. They have a small beer selection, but it's all good craft beer. The ambience is a little loud as mostly crowded with college students. But it doesn't bother me. I don't eat there a lot. I normally order for pick up. My only issue is that they're always so busy that the tables are not cleaned in a timely fashion. And sometimes they're not wiped down or cleaned off at all, but as I said, they are always crowded. I won't stop going. Their pizza is too good. read more

I stopped in while waiting for my cat to be groomed at the pet salon next door and this was the nearest open place since it's Memorial's Day. The girl at the front desk was pretty nice, I had no issue with her. The wait time was also not terrible, especially since it was just me there and a couple already eating. The burger though was super dry. It was supposed to come with mayo and mustard and it barely had any of that. It was hard to choke down due to how dry the meat was as well. The curly fries tasted burnt as well and some of them felt a little raw. It's a shame because the decorations are pretty cool, and the last time I came here, we enjoyed the food. My favorite pizza place for take home ordering. My husband and I order our own slices (which are quite large)- I like the cheese, pesto, and red onions, hubby likes pepperoni and jalapeños. We can usually get two meals out of once slice, unless very hungry. I also appreciate the ingredients used for the pizza, the cheese is actually meltable the next day in the oven, which signals better quality cheese than your standard national pizza franchises. We also order curly fries, which are good to eat at the restaurant, but when taking home they usually require some time in the oven to crisp them up. Hubby likes the lemon pepper wings, which he gives a solid 9/10. We don't usually eat at the restaurant, as the ovens give off a kind of burnt smell and it sticks to hair and clothes. But if you don't mind that, give it a whirl- they also have tap beer and cider which are tasty. read more
