It been two months since I came to know about this awesome place. My kids love coming back to this place; they love its beautiful display where there is a wall of purple flowers, big T.V and cozy leather seats. The bathroom is clean and smells fresh all the time. My wife has been craving deep fried Oreos and we usually get them at Sauced in Walnut Creek, but that drive can be a bit much sometimes. I looked around for something closer and came across Susie Q's Pizza, which had great reviews for theirs. I ordered a dozen to try. They do not come with ice cream, so I grabbed their vanilla shake (really good!) and used that as our pairing. The first bite was soft, warm, and surprisingly not overly sweet. Went again! It always hits the spot! This time I decided to get their sauces! The green sauce is the "Susie Q's Sauce" it was super good and I believe it has parsley in it! Almost like a green goddess sauce! Their "Honey Garlic" sauce is like a bbq with a kick! Their "House Sauce" is similar to In n out sauce. I would recommend to try their sauces! Good pizza, I order their Susie supreme add pineapple. This place is a gem for me and my family because we don't eat pork and all their meat toppings are turkey or beef. Their staff are nice I usually get it delivered to me but I have also ordered in person. They have a lot of items on the menu but I have only had their pizza so far. The sandwich is huge and came with fries. The bread is soft and the amount sauce/chicken/bread is on point. The fried Oreo was a huge surprise - people raved about them in almost every Yelp review so we had to know. We immediately started eating them after we picked up our takeout and they were delicious! First time here and these are my thoughts: Pros are: you can order by phone or online and they are open very late so that's very convenient. Cons: the pizza tasted somewhat bland to my taste, the wings didn't satisfy my craving, they were breaded and with bone which I don't mind but they didn't have a good taste and were pretty expensive for the quantity and quality. We were trying to find pizza spots in Hayward and came across Susie Q's Pizza on a whim. They're right off of Foothill Blvd near downtown Hayward so it's not too hard to find them. It was around 6pm when we arrived and it was surprisingly empty, given it is a Wednesday evening. There's a lot of options to choose from on their menu and we ordered a large pizza, loaded fries, and garlic bread. Service was amazing and staff accommodated us while there. Hubby and I were craving pizza, so we searched around on Yelp for a good pizza place nearby. We see Susie Q's Pizza every time when we're driving through Downtown Hayward but never stopped by. We decided to try this place late night and it didn't disappoint. Their menu had variety of choices from pizza, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts! There's no proper parking and you have to find street parking there. Great service - staff was informative and helpful. Have ordered from here about 3-4 times and every time it has been FIRE! However, let me mention a major concern of mine that I'm happy to update my review once they address: They offer a halal menu, but I would ask about specific items in advance. They seem to suggest pizza toppings are halal but items from the grill may or may not be halal. It's quite confusing and I wish they would clarify on their menus both in restaurant and online (I.e. DoorDash) which items are halal. I noticed even when I order pizza online it asks if I want to pay extra for halal toppings, yet when I call I'm told all pizza toppings are halal and no need to check the box. It's a really important issue for those with dietary restriction and many restaurants either do all halal or are very clear which items aren't, so I hope the owners read my review and heed my advice to clarify better. Now on to the food, I've had their cheesy garlic bread, BBQ pizza, Susie Supreme, and Pesky Chicken pizza. My favorite is the Pesky with the white sauce and the cheesy garlic bread is a must try. The green and red sauce they give with the cheesy garlic bread is too good. They offer chicken wings, pasta, and several other items that I still haven't been able to try but since I live nearby I do plan to try most of the menu and will update my reviews accordingly. Came across this cute spot after they have been newly opened in the area in downtown hayward. They have been opened for some time now but I know they are newer compared the rest of the food spots in the area. I did not know they were pizza joint either.
