New York Pretzel is actually pretty good! You'll find them in the food court on the second floor level inside New York New York Hotel & Casino. Nevada residents get three hours of complimentary parking, just scan your driver's license at the parking exit. The food court has a nice lineup of eateries and there's plenty of seating with good background music. I was leaning towards New York Pretzel, they offer a fantastic selection of flavors for pepperoni & parmesan, jalapeño & pepperoni, jalapeño parmesan, and there's mini dogs, as well as pepperoni bites and cinnamon sugar bites. I like Bacon Pretzel Dog ($13.99), it's tasty and delicious! Pretzel has a lovely exterior crunch from pieces of bacon and Parmesan, it's not salty, and hot dog is juicy. They have ketchup and mustard available. Yellow mustard is an excellent choice for pretzel and hotdog. Its sharp and tangy flavor is appealing and really balances the chewy pretzel and hotdog, it's great! They have additional sauce which is an extra charge (+$1.95) for cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pizza sauce, and icing. Lemonade ($5.95) is so refreshing and yummy! The biggest tourist trap in NYNY Hotel and Casino. I saw a family purchase a several pretzels and drinks, and were shocked at how much they ended up having to pay. I saw them asking their friends and family to help pitch in to pay in cash, because the kids already started eating so they couldn't cancel the order. This place is awful. Stay away. read more

Never been to NY, but if their pretzels are this good, then I might visit sooner than later. The dough is light and soft, especially if eaten fresh. A variety of toppings adds variety: jalapeno, pepperoni, cheeses, garlic, sesame seeds, etc..... Prices were a bit steep, especially compared to pretzels from my home country. And a large Pepsi was $4.95. If I wanted to order just a Nathan's hot dog, it would of been $5.89. To give perspective on the markup, a Nathan's hot dog costs $1.25 in a Walmart Deli and $1.63 with a 32 ounce bottomless fountain drink in Sam's Club. The two times that we visited New York Pretzel, I got the impression that they wanted to be anyplace else on a late night on the Las Vegas Strip. I've been to a bunch of mall pretzel stands and they can be really good if they're fresh, which is usually touch and go, but no matter how fresh they are I always have a bitter aftertaste (I think it's from the burnt 'butter' they use).
