This is my first time here at dirt dog. It was a great experience. When we walked in, we were greeted by the wonderful hostess behind the counter. She had suggestions for us. I chose the DUI dog. Mainly because I love pastrami. And it did not disappoint. The bacon wrapped hotdog was amazing. You add on top of that the pastrami and Carne Asada, along with their chipotle aïoli, and you have a wonderful mouthwatering experience. Also had the Hulu Fries loaded with tasty Chili and cheese with the chipotle aioli and bacon bits. A party in every bite. I had the fresh pineapple Orange Agua Fresca which was perfectly blended. Not overly sweet, but just an amazing addition. And the size of the drink was huge! read more

It's been a while since I've been here and the menu has changed and expanded. Last time I was here it was on the wall and now it's electronic and they have smash burgers. Even though I came in thinking about a dog, the burger caught my eye and I had to go for it. The food is amazing, the burger, the dog, the fries, the corn either on the cob or in a cup. We took the in the cup and it was perfection. Keira B was very friendly and patient while helping us through our order. Kudos the her. The place is very spacious and really cool, it's nice to see how it has evolved through the years. It's not real close to where I live now but worth the drive. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in by a very nice young lady named Abby B. I was so excited to see they had expanded their menu. Husband tried the DUI hot dog and Original Hot Dog. The fries themselves are super crispy and delicious and I LOVE garlic, so I really appreciated how over the top these were. Confit garlic on top of garlic seasoned fries with a garlic dipping sauce. NOT for date night. Filthy fries: meh. Couldn't taste the guac at all. The chipotle aioli overpowered any other flavor on the fries. DUI dog: nice gimmick. Not terrible. The pastrami was a little fatty and chewy. Carne asada wasn't anything I couldn't get at Del Taco. The actual hot dog is better than expected. I figured the dog would be generic and the toppings would be amazing. Other way around. Chili Dog: husband said it was only okay. He wouldn't come back for it. I definitely recommend spending the $0.75 for the lobster roll upgrade. Unless a craving for those garlic fries hit, we won't be returning. This is not a sit down restaurant, you can sit down but the restaurant's in a food court. There isn't really any service except when you order. The food was good. We had chilly dogs and fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and had good flavor. The same for the hot dogs and this is coming from someone that doesn't normally eat hot dogs. The chilly dog was very tasty and very messy. I didn't like the cheese. It was almost like nacho cheese but grainier. The picture look like it would have been almost like cheddar cheese but melted but when I got it the cheese wasn't what I expected. Honestly to start off, I have NEVER had a bad experience at any of the dirt dog locations here EVER before last night (5/3/26 about 8:30 PM) To start off i had ordered ahead online so that it was quicker. when i walked in i wasnt even acknowledged by the very young lady at the counter, she completely ignored me until she was off the phone. not even a hand gesture or anything, not that big of a deal though. After she acknowledged my presence i told her the name for the order and she looked around for a solid minute before grabbing another young coworker to help her look through their POS. TURNS OUT! They handed my order to someone else. but get this, they once again DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE IT TO ME. They huddled to a corner and whispered it to each other before they just turned to me and said, "We are going to remake it." No apology, no estimated time frame, nothing. They told me 10-15 minutes and it was almost 35 minutes before my food was ready. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF! not a single piece of either me nor my girlfriends food was correct. she had asked for a couple of her toppings removed (which they werent), i asked for one topping removed (which it wasnt), AND I PAID for a large dui fry and got the smallest portion ive ever been given even when purchasing the small size. I usually never write reviews or anything of that nature because i simply dont care most of the time but this just felt disrespectful. I have friends that have worked there i thought you guys are supposed to pride yourselves on making the customers happy. And to add onto that, i wasnt the only person sitting around waiting for 20+ minutes despite there only being a single family dining in at the time. i dont know who the people were that were working last night but it was very apparent there wasnt an ounce of work ethic or integrity coming from either of those girls. Great hotdog spot close to home! I have had the elote dog in the past, but now with a dairy allergy, I cherish their tacos, wings, and fries. It would be nice if they offered a wheat bun or a loaded vegan hotdog so I could eat a delicious hotdog. But they don't, so here I am at a hotdog place eating tacos. This year for Cinco de Mayo I finally decided to go out for some tacos. I figured that most people wouldn't go to a hotdog place for tacos and I was right. There are two types of tacos offered. I had to get the dairy free style, but the tacos are still delicious. I used to like the hot sauce station how they use to have it many years ago. There used to be three times more options than the options offered today. The ambiance inside is a rapper/hip hop vibe. I had the chili dog, DUI dog, both on lobster rolls instead of traditional dog bun (the lobster roll was accurately described as 'the Texas toast of hot dog buns') and garlic fries. It was hard to pick a favorite dog. Both were good in their own way. The chili on the chili dog was rich with great flavor that wasn't sweet. Didn't care for the bacon bits as they were like chewing gravel. The DUI dog with pastrami was delicious too. Again with the bacon bits. I put a little mustard on each which was a nice addition. They do have a lot to choose from but I wanted to go basic. I went for the plain for 7.95 and added mustard. It hit the spot at the end of the night and the bun was elite! The dogs are 100% beef. This for the one one E Sahara... My daughter put an online order in for an Elote dog with dirty fries at the E Sahara location (it was closer) and instead she got a Dirty Dog (I think). I took a pic of it and it doesn't look like what she ordered from the day before or the pic on their site??? I know this was the wrong order because she had an elote dog the day before from another location and she loved it and so we went back again today but to the E Sahara location. I tried calling the phone number that was listed for that location twice and went to voicemail both times so I left a message.
