    DUI Dog & Chili Fries

It's been a while since I've been here and the menu has changed and expanded. Last time I was here it was on the wall and now it's electronic and they have smash burgers. Even though I came in thinking about a dog, the burger caught my eye and I had to go for it. The food is amazing, the burger, the dog, the fries, the corn either on the cob or in a cup. We took the in the cup and it was perfection. Keira B was very friendly and patient while helping us through our order. Kudos the her. The place is very spacious and really cool, it's nice to see how it has evolved through the years. It's not real close to where I live now but worth the drive. I will be back and I recommend this place. Prices are very reasonable.

Weekday lunch, plenty of seating inside. Menu is various hot dogs with toppings, Ordered the elote dog, pretty straight forward but great with the corn and various spices and sauces. Service was great and the girl at the front was doing it all. Would recommend

Lunch time in Las Vegas! Felt like a hot dog was appropriate. So glad I tried. We opted for the Elote dog, DUI dog, and Carne Asada fries. Man! This was good eats! Service was great and the restaurant was rather slow. We liked this because we didn't have to wait long for a seat or food. A variety of music played during our visit along with several TV's playing football, travel, and basketball. Nice little spot to grab a bite to eat.

Literally the BEST hotdog I've ever had. The elote dog was phenomenal. Lime wedge on top was genius. I will be getting one every time I come to Vegas.

The hotdogs were excellent my favorite was the DUI dog! The service was outstanding and explained the menu to the T. The atmosphere was great also adding aspects of the city.

Worst most expensive hot dog I've ever had. Very overpriced and overrated. I tried the DUI dog. Hot dog is so small, it has a little spicy flavor and the toppings are nothing special. I'd rather drive 5 hours to downtown LA and eat a hotdog from one of the carts.

Coming from Palm Springs CA. We tried Dirt Dog many years ago for the first time in Vegas. They had one in LA by USC which they have closed down now. Currently in Vegas for a trip and this was our first pleasant stop after driving 4 hours. Same as we remembered if not better. Soooo yummy!!! Much needed. Would've seen some hot dogs here but they were INHALED! Service was SO amazing. Take care of them and they will take care of you

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Alright, the good, the loaded fries were hot, fresh and delicious. I got the carne asada fries and hubby got the filthy fries, wish the portions were bigger for the price but still good. My birria tacos were pretty good as well, they were the tacos with the quesabirria style tacos with cheese in between the two tortillas (so if that's not your thing, let them know) green salsa had more flavor, the red salsa was spicier. The not so great, the elote dog was just meh...if you aren't into spice, or pastrami, there are limited options.

Oh how we miss this place!! It was a must stop on our first night back in Vegas. The People that work here are so fun to talk to and nice. I had to order my elote dog, elote fries for old time sake. Nothing has changed with the quality or taste of the food here. We miss it since we moved to Oregon and we will always come back when we visit!!

We were in the southwest part of town for our son's football game and STARVING. We knew exactly where needed to go to... Dirt Dog. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in by a very nice young lady named Abby B. I was so excited to see they had expanded their menu. Husband tried the DUI hot dog and Original Hot Dog. I tried their new Birria Tacos. They were delicious!!! The consume brought the experience to a whole other level!! TV's were playing our football game. Aguas frescas were yummy. Great artwork on the walls of some great rappers and singers. Customer service, on point. Absolutely recommend!

Dirt Dog definitely delivered -- I love a good glizzy, and theirs performed. The dogs are loaded, flavorful, and come in a bunch of different styles and combos, which is a huge plus. You can really customize whatever mood you're in, and everything tasted fresh and well put together. Only thing keeping this from a full 5 stars is the price point. It's a little on the expensive side for hot dogs, even really good ones. But honestly, the quality and creativity make it worth trying at least once. If you're craving a decked-out glizzy with personality, Dirt Dog hits the spot.

Service is outstanding. Everyone that works there is awesome and the artwork is amazing. The food is good, not great. TL:DR - good enough to try once. Garlic fries: best thing we ordered. The fries themselves are super crispy and delicious and I LOVE garlic, so I really appreciated how over the top these were. Confit garlic on top of garlic seasoned fries with a garlic dipping sauce. NOT for date night. Filthy fries: meh. Couldn't taste the guac at all. The chipotle aioli overpowered any other flavor on the fries. DUI dog: nice gimmick. Not terrible. The pastrami was a little fatty and chewy. Carne asada wasn't anything I couldn't get at Del Taco. The actual hot dog is better than expected. I figured the dog would be generic and the toppings would be amazing. Other way around. Chili Dog: husband said it was only okay. He wouldn't come back for it. I definitely recommend spending the $0.75 for the lobster roll upgrade. Unless a craving for those garlic fries hit, we won't be returning. Service and the employees earned them an extra star.

Are any of the items like the elotes glute free?

Hello! Great question. Our tacos are our only menu item that are gluten free.

The carne asada have always been with cheddar cheese. I believe only 2 fries come without cheese; garlic and their regular fries.

Do you have a kids mea?

They have a few discounted options for kids.

I believe that the meat is all beef but they do have a veggie dog option. My daughter is a vegetarian and that's her go to.

We sat inside because it was hot that day and they were blasting the A/C. Restroom is available but will need a key. We took a look at the menu beforehand so I ordered right away. It only took a few minutes for it to be ready. There is a little water station available near their counter. Despite having a lot of sweet options, we came here for the savory options. The spicy tuna salad avocado and avocado egg salad croffles were our orders. The tuna one was honestly not that spicy but definitely hits the savory craving. The egg one leans on the sweeter side. Both of these were really good and were a good balance of flavor profiles together. Highly recommend both! Sweet Mong is easily a store I'd come back to try other dishes.

Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this.
