A coworker of mine heard I was going to Vegas and let me know I HAD to try Dirt Dog. They have two other locations that aren't on the strip. She had told me about the original one, but since I had no way to get there, I was excited to see this location in the food court on the strip!! I got the house dog with no bell peppers and plain fries. The dog was delicious!! The fries were also really good!!! The girl with the red hair that was working was super nice!! I got a Diet Coke, and she let me know I am get refills without me even asking. Love the proactive service!!! This is in a food court, so there is plenty of seating. The tables were clean. There's also other food options in case your group is split on what to get. I'd for sure check it out.

An $8 medium drink. CRAZY! At a food court but it is on the strip so there's the up charge. I did mix watermelon and strawberry. It was also 90 degrees so the drink was refreshing. I enjoyed it but $8?!

I was in the mood for something quick that wasn't a burger and stumbled upon Dirt Dog. This location was tucked in the back of an outdoor shopping area. The ordering process was simple. There were photos and descriptions of all the hot dogs available. They have options like Patty melt, Elote dog, and cheesesteak dog. In addition, they have a multitude of side options like chili fries, taco, and even deep fried Oreos. I was feeling like keeping it classic and went for the House Dog. It came with 100% Premium All Beef Nathan's Dog, Wrapped in Center-Cut Bacon, Grilled Veggies, House Spread, Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup, and Bacon Bits. The hot dog had a nice snap to it and all the sauces and topping went nicely together. My only gripe was the price. My House Dog was $10 and the rest of the fancy dogs were almost $15. That's too much for a hot dog! Get ready for a sticker shock and that little feeling of guilt you get when you realize how much you paid for just a hot dog.

Dirt Dog was excellent! My brother found Dirt Dog on social media and had it on his list of places to go for the long weekend we were in Vegas. We had a group of 5 and tried various things from the menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I ordered the asada fries. This was a good size portion. The fries were super crispy and perfect for all the toppings as they didn't get soft or soggy which can tedn to happen. The service was quick and efficient. I would recommend Dirt Dog and visit again if I was in the area.

This is a Vegas version of NYC street vender. It was an interesting walk down the strip as always. Because of the heat and it was late we took our order back to our room. The elote dog was sooooo good. The was topping was just like abuelita would make. The balance of the ingredients was tasty without any one item over baring

My husband loves a good chili dog, so we decided to give Dirt Dog a try while visiting Vegas. He ordered the chili dog and really enjoyed it. It was flavorful, easy to eat, and not too messy. I tried the house dog without veggies or mustard, but mine only had ketchup, mayo, and a few bacon bits. Since it was about $2 more than the plain dog, it didn't feel worth the extra cost. We also shared an order of fries, which had a seasoning similar to Old Bay and were pretty tasty. Overall, the hot dogs themselves are good quality, but for me, it wasn't something I'd put on my must-visit list again. The place has very limited bar seating and the bartender was very nice and we're glad we gave it a try!

Lunch time pit stop at the Food Court on S Las Vegas Blvd. Very nice and complimentary staff. Was knowledgeable of the menu and popular choices. Also obtained cleaning staff to ensure table was clean. Ordered the D.U.I dog(no cheddar cheese) and the Cheesesteak dog (no Serrano peppers). All beef hotdogs wrapped in bacon. Absolutely delicious. I put some of the sautéed onions and Serrano peppers from the cheesesteak don onto the D.U.I. Dog. Also got a large "suicide" Agua Fresca. All the flavors in one cup. 10/10 recommend if you eat pork.

What a great idea: dressing up hot dogs with elevated toppings! We loved them! We got the dui dog and the elote. The elote dog was really good. I only wish they maybe I didn't get to take a pic of the elote dog bc it was on its way to my belly! We also ordered fries. I found them good, my husband really liked them.

Got the House Dog and Plain Dog. Pretty pricy for pretty simple hot dogs. The bread was toasted well. FYI DoorDash pickup is only at this location, not at the one near the Horseshoe/Paris Hotel. Order was ready quickly. Ambiance - it's part of a food court.

Food: Looking for a cool, fun, easy spot in the Horseshoe alley to grab some quick comfort street food then Dirt Dog is for you. I had the Elote Dog which is a hot dog with corn, lime mayo, cotija, chili powder, cilantro and bacon. Paired this with Da Baddest cocktail. Amazing! The corn, lime and cilantro turn this all the way up. The hubby had the House Dog and the Trash Can cocktail. To top it off we shared the Carne Asada Tacos. The tacos were good but not great. The star of the show is the red and green salsa which have great flavor and a medium heat. Ambiance: Because it's in an alleyway, not much seating but you can sit at the bar or take it to go. R&B or rap music playing in the background with a 90s vibe and Snoop Dog on the walls. Service: The service was good. The bartender was named Jordan. Great server and bartender. The food came out relatively quick. Parking: It's the Vegas strip so who we kidding parking sucks. But if you're walking the strip then this spot could be for you Overall: Good food, good portions, good service. The menu is limited to hot dogs, French fries and tacos and cocktails BUT the special spin they put on these street delites is definitely a must try!

I came here late night for some food and I ended up getting the birria tacos with a bottle of soda. When I first walked past the restaurant, it had a long line, and I ended up standing in line, but it was kind of quick. I probably waited about 15 minutes for my food. They had chairs and tables on the outside of it, but I didn't really want to sit down. My order came with a set of three tacos with an up charge for the consume. I think these tacos were great, I got the green salsa to go with, I tried the tacos with the salsa and without the consume, it was good!! With the consume? Even better!! I wish I had a side to go with it. But They only had fries. My man ended up getting some bbq wings and fries. The fries we're not my favorite. I think I will be back for taco Tuesday and try the Carne Asada tacos next

    Menu

Excellent as always. Got the chili dog without a bunch of other stuff in it. The dirty fries are amazing.

Went quite late on Mother's Day and wasn't too busy. Had a few open tables and wasn't in the best cleaning condition. If it was a packed night then I believe we wouldn't have had a seat but luckily it wasn't too busy. The area is pretty loud cause it's like a food court where people are eating and socializing. Was able to order right away. Ordered the cheese steak dog and carne asada fries. Cheese steak dog was good. The serrano pepper was like an icing to the dog. The buns were toasted perfect and tasted great. Hot dog was hot and fresh. The asada fries were ok. For the price, I believe it should be more. The fries were over cooked cause it was super crunchy. Only thing I would recommend is that they should have some salsa for the asada fries.

There's a small kitchen area where the menu is and where you place your order. Cooks are viciously making the orders that others are placing, and you can hear the constant sizzling of hot dogs on their grills. They have bar seating on the other side along with a bunch of tables close by but they were all taken since it was prime dinner time at 7:30pm on The Strip and people were walking all around the area. We decided to eat over at a nearby taco joint in the end. Both of us got their D.U.I. Dog, which has pastrami, carne asada, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, a ton of cilantro and chipotle aioli (a mayonnaise kind of sauce). Very packed with flavor with all the meats inside, and the cheese melts so well inside the hot dog. They even put this inside a relatively big carton container, the same kind I've seen the staff put their D.U.I. Fries in... holy crap those are some huge portions! For $18 before tax though, this hot dog was already slightly massive for its size, at just about a foot long. Very nice start to a great time in Vegas! Also a great hot dog stand with immensely tasty dogs.

The hot dog is legit and easily the highlight of my visit. It comes the way it should, topped with sport peppers and that unmistakable neon green relish, and it's actually pretty close to what you would expect from a real Chicago-style dog. If you are craving that classic Chicago flavor, this part of the menu absolutely delivers. Unfortunately, the Italian beef did not live up to the same standard. I ordered the half hot dog, half Italian beef combo, thinking it would be the best way to try both, but I ended up regretting that choice. To me, an Italian beef sandwich and its marinade should have a deep, savory flavor, almost like a hydrated beef jerky, but this one fell flat. In fact, there were more veggies than beef! Meh. I might also be a little spoiled after having Jay's Italian Beef in Chicago, which sets a very high bar. Overall, Windy City Beef N Dogs is worth visiting for the hot dogs. But when they list beef before dogs... you expect more.
