I have been wanting to come here for years. As a local, I drive by often when I pass into Boulder City. My husband and I were early for an appointment so I said please can we get a hot dog!? As we pulled up just before 11, Denise the owner was still setting up. We asked if it was a drive thru or if we park and walk up - she said we could do whatever gets us to the window. While she was setting up and taking our order she chatted with us and gave us some history. She told us she also baked cakes and brownies. We ordered 2 Chicago dogs and a frozen lemonade- which she said is from Rhode Island. Our hot dogs came with our name wrote ontop with mustard. Denise thanked us for stopping by and said as her first customer of the day, she gave us a free mini cake and brownie. She was awesome and I am glad to read below that Chilly Jillys is also in her family. We will definitely be back! read more

We stopped by here for a quick lunch and it was great! The owner, Denise, was super friendly and talked to us like we were old friends. She was super helpful and helped us decide what to get. She asked for our names and when she delivered the hotdogs later, she had written our names on the dogs with the condiments. We also got some of her homemade cakes to go. I had the Chicago Dog and my husband had the Chili Dog with added onions, they were both delicious served on a nice fresh bun! I highly recommend a visit here. What a fantastic little hotdog stand in Boulder City! Denise has a simple, affordable, and delicious menu. The hotdogs are of high quality and she uses buns from a local bakery, just adding to the great taste. She typically has small home-baked cakes available, but when we went she had brownies instead that were so dang good. I LOVED the fun little surprise of having mine & my husband's names written on our hotdogs with ketchup & mustard. Such a cute experience. This is mainly a drive-thru type restaurant, but there are 3 tables outside if you want to eat on site. Note that even if you are walking up, you order from the same window that cars order from. This will definitely be a stop every time we finish hiking in Lake Mead. Great job Denise! read more

Let me start with...literally the BEST Chili Dog and FRESH Frozen Lemonade (Made with REAL Lemons) I've EVER put in my mouth. We passed by Mom's little hot dog stand and on a whim we decided to try it. It was one of the BEST decisions we've ever made. It didn't look like much, but, the little hut itself is pristine, clean and inviting. Denise greeted us with a huge smile and is so sweet and kind. Finally made it to Mom's and we were not disappointed!! Denise was awesome! Loved talking with her! We tried the chili cheese dog, a Chicago dog, a plain dog with ketchup only and lastly a dog with sauerkraut, mustard and onions. Denise even wrote our names on the dogs! My daughter loved that little extra touch. And the lemonade! Love love LOVE! When it gets warmer and we go walk the railroad trail, I'll bring my large water bottle and fill it with the lemonade! 5 stars is a lot for a hotdog stand. I know that but hear me out. If you want an authentic Chicago dog and not have to fly to Illinois then you have to come here. There isn't another place I know that you can get a Chicago dog like this in Nevada. Everyone else tries to get cute with it or elevate the Chicago dog. This place just gives you a good ole Chicago dog. Heck I would put it up against any dog in Chicago. The chili dog, the important thing about chili dogs in my opinion is the ability to eat the dog with your hands and not have it be a sloppy mess. That takes a great chili and more importantly a great chili to bun ratio. The owner Denise nails this and makes it the best chili dog you can get. Let's talk a little about the owner Denise, SHES THE BEST! first she's the mom in moms hot dogs. She a great person and you know good food runs through her blood because she's the mom of the chilly jilliz owner across the street which I have already raved about before. Denise makes these dogs the best they can be and it's a worth a trip to Boulder to have a Chicago dog or a chilli dog or just a chat with her. Great dogs, better service, and a great conversation. it get 5 stars. For hot dogs. Go there and tell me it isn't worth 5 stars. I dare you. read more

You could not find a more caring nice and wonderful to work with entrepreneur. She has an air of positivity about her and it translates into her hot dogs lol. BUT IT'S TRUE. The dogs are Vienna all beef hotdogs and they are delicious. She will be creative to your liking in terms of toppings and quality ingredients. They are in recyclable cardboard vs. styrofoam. She greets you with warmth, and sends you away with a yummy meal and a smile. Totally worth the stop! read more

Hot dang! How have I neglected my yummy lil hot dog place from a 5 star review!?! Ok, so it's "just a hot dog shack"... But don't let the size fool you! The kind service and snap of the Vienna dogs makes up for it. The lady who's usually here is always friendly, the dogs are always good... Did I mention they also have Italian beef sammiches? The hours are a bit wonky, but it's a small family owned joint, so they get a pass from me :) The Beef comes on a small (hotdog?) bun. I'm very partial to a good roll with my beef, so that's a bit lacking, but for the size of the place I totally understand. They have a couple tables outside, and there is no inside dining. When the weather is nice, great place to sit outside and enjoy the day. When it's too hot I take it to go. My daughter and I went to Moms today for the first time and they absolutely nailed the most delicious and perfect Chicago Hot Dog. All the fixings including the sesame seed bun,Vienna beef hot dog, electric green relish, onion, tomato, mustard and celery salt! We are born and raised in Chicago and have had allot of hot dogs there and Mom's made us feel like we were back home again.Can't leave out the amazing customer service we received I believe she is the owner and took great pride in taking care of us. The fries were crispy and what ever they were seasoned with took the taste to the next level. The polish dog was wasn't super spicy which I loved because I it didn't over power the taste. This is a food truck definitely worth visiting.
