He stated some are better than the others for durability like Nucore & Durolux and still need to see the different ones that are offered . The one I was choosing was less expensive and happened to match better but when I tried the sample at home it did scratch easily with a flathead(I did as an experiment) as he had previously mentioned. He said not to drag furniture or anything that may scratch it. He said I needed a blue bottom cover for the floor underneath but u are if I actually need it . I decided to head back the next day and exchange the one I had with the one that was more durable to last longer since it would not be warrantied if any scratches were to occur. I also purchased a tool to install it if needed . I wanted to purchase and match a marble piece that I already have in the area going into the other rooms. He took me to the area and we picked a piece out. Additionally, I had the transition piece to match. He loaded the car for me. When I returned the next day it was busier. Another guy assisted me but was told to go to another customer and someone else helped me. He took the ones I purchased out of the car but there was a bit of a delay at the registers when I returned because customers were also returning and purchasing. I will more than likely have someone install it even though I do like to learn DIY .

I was told by my sales associate it will not be a problem to be shipped weeks later I was charged over $5000 for shipping after contacting my attorney since I could not get anywhere with my sales rep I was told they will only charge me $1250 if I removed my review on Yelp. Rather than fighting I paid the $1250 and removed the review. A few weeks later I was contacted by phone and text numerous times that the supplies were delivered to the ProSource in Long Island and to please pick them up immediately. My Contractor drove an hour and picked up these supplies and brought them back and started working in the apartments for the vinyl floors. There was no under layer materials so he had to run out and buy the materials. They were not in the order the next day ProSource called me and told me that the underlayers are there now and they were sorry it wasn't in the order. I explained to them that my Contractor had to re-purchased them because he was in the midst of laying the floor. They could care less. I asked them to refund the cost of the underlayer or even mention that I would send them the bill of what my Contractor paid for the additional underlayer and they can just reimburse me to both suggestions they said absolutely not come and get your underlay. They lied to me when they told me everything was in the store. I have proof of four phone calls and three text messages that they harassed me starting on Friday of Memorial Day weekend to pick up the items because they were all there and it turns out that they were not all there my Contractor drove an hour there and an hour back to get the items and now they are telling me there is nothing they can do to refund the underlay material ProSource of Pompano is not a company that I would deal with if you want honesty and reputable people working with you. They tell you one thing and they do another. Originally when I ordered everything, there was no charge for delivery then weeks later there was a $ 5000 charge and after much fighting back-and-forth, it became $1200 which was still more than I was told from the beginning. Now I'm told all the materials that I ordered for two apartments are in. We go to get them. They're missing underlayers and my Contractor has to go and buy the material and they will not refund me for the material that's in the store that was never put with my order. This is a company that is definitely not reputable. Please be very wary of this company. I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

Under the consult of Donald Rancourt, I bought tiles and grout at Home Depot. His worker did a terrible job! Grout color was uneven and faded when dry. The company denied any responsibility for the problem, and refused to fix the problem. They suggested spraying a sealer on tiles, and assured me that this would fix problem. When dry, tiles looked exactly the same as before! I paid over $12,000 for the entire job! The owner Donald Rancourt is very difficult to work with. He has very poor communication skills. He denies what he had said, or doesn't remember, or says that he never said it. Get every single detail in writing!
