Do business here! Do NOT let the outside of the building fool you. You don't need glitz and slick salesmen. You need honest, fair prices and a beautifully curated selection of stone to choose from. Stone Design is small but mighty. I happened upon the yard while driving to a client meeting and thought, hmmmm...what the heck is that spectacular slab doing in front of that little place?! I walked in and nearly fell out of my high heels. I'd shopped EVERYWHERE for several months - as my major renovation was going painfully slow and I wasn't finding anything I loved. My fateful stop that day was a hail-mary last chance effort. Farley, Nathalia, and the entire crew are top notch. No joke. As I walked through, they answered my questions without any pressure. No one followed me or hounded me with questions. They had a relatively small but beautifully curated selection, more thick slabs than the cheaper thin ones that others try to trick you with, then charge you more for creating an edge. When I landed on something I liked they suggested I go directly to their supplier to look at more slabs because they knew that particular "lot" or "series" had more very pretty pieces and I needed 5 that flowed together. They could have tried to "sell" me and might have been successful. But Nathalia was just as excited about the idea of me finding the perfect flow and fit. My designer and I headed over their partner/supplier and we were treated like VIP's because apparently Farley is the best installer/fabricator they work with. They couldn't say enough about him. "Kind, considerate and hard working" were how he was described and after doing business with him I wholeheartedly concur. The supplier gave me their price. Farley made his money on the fabrication and install. As a small business owner I appreciated the effort it took to get my job done. As our kitchen renovation careened into Thanksgiving, they moved heaven and earth to get our installation done on time staying into the night to get everything just right. You don't have to buy the entire slab. At Stone Design's yard you pay for what you use. Loved that! They gave me suggestions that saved me money and gave me a fair price on EVERYTHING they did, including the marble top they put on a old buffet I reinvented, and the pass-thru shelves we placed outside the kitchen windows. People gasp and clutch their chest when they enter my kitchen and I don't think it's my cooking. I live on Miami Beach and drove 40 miles up to Pompano to do business with them. The chest clutching and jaw dropping was worth it. I love Stone Design and the great people they employ and do business with. It is the only place to go. read more

Do not ever look for another company to care for your stone needs. This image speaks for itself. What this image can't communicate is how much attention to details in troubleshooting went into making the stone fit. What should have been a very simple installation was anything but due the previous team who did the woodwork. It would have been very understandable for the Santos team to simply point out the problems and come back when everything was ready for them. They stayed and pushed through the process even though it was not their responsibility. read more

We had a countertop installed in November 2022. In February 2023 it developed a crack. We are certain it was a crack - it ran across the veins, you could feel break in surface with your finger, and it went not only on the top but also on the side of a countertop (see picture). We contacted the Stone Design about it. It took over two weeks to send a technician to look at it. He told us that it was not a crack, sealed it, and mentioned that seal would eventually wear off and would have to be redone every six months. Obviously, we looked at this solution as a temporary one. So, on March 16 we sent an email to the store owner - Mr. Farley Santos. We indicated that we would like him or someone in the management to see the problem firsthand and to discuss with us possible solutions. Mr. Santos has never got back to us, but after few reminders, we got email back from Andre with a promise to remind Mr. Santos about our case. Nothing happened though. In the meantime, we discovered another crack, and informed the Stone Design about it. I kept inquiring every couple weeks and was getting the same promise again and again. Last time it was on May 9. As of today, June 7, still nobody got back to us. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Will update this review if I ever hear from Stone Design. read more

You must visit this place! Fernanda in the office is amazing and very accommodating. I used Santos Stone for my bathroom vanity, window sills and kitchen countertops. The best part about this place is you only pay for what you use if you're project is with natural stone. Any stone yard will require you to purchase the full slab if you're doing man made quartz (neolith, silestone, cambria, etc). I ended up using quartzite for the entire job and it turned out beautiful! They did a great job templating with my cabinets. They also sealed and cleaned the counters after install. They'll also work with you to fabricate your stone if you already have a slab. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! read more

Initially these people were very friendly and personable but then everything changed. They are not reliable at all and have lost all credibility. They no-showed me only to push me to the bottom of the pile, did a crappy job on my cook top cut out, delivered and installed a cracked counter, and made a mess in my house. Warning, don't trust them at all! Tried to get double payment to boot. Horrible!!! read more

Working with the Santos team was a delight. The office staff was extremely helpful in picking out a marble slab for our vanity and choosing the proper sink to complement it. The installers were prompt and great. Two trips in two weeks. The first for the template and the second to install the marble top.It went just like we were told it would. Stone Design by Santos did what other granite fabricators could not do! They were able to cut a section of the granite in one piece without using a seam. We had our kitchen redone with a granite top and granite back splash and it turned out fantastic! They were great to work with and the installation was very very good with a great amount of attention to details by installers who actually cared and took pride in their job. They actually went above and beyond. It's like you are dealing with good friends. We highly recommend them and will look to do so in the future. read more

MY EXPERIENCE WITH SANTOS STONE DESIGN WAS TERRIBLE!! To start, I understood that it takes time to cut the stone but when I asked why the long wait, I was told that they have 4 other big jobs and can't get to mine right away. Why wasn't this told to me before I paid my deposit? However, I really liked the stone so I waited. When the install date finally came the guys were halfway through finishing when THE STONE BROKE! This is after its already been glued in place. What if this happened after they had left? (If I could post pictures I would). This was unacceptable. So I called the owner to see how he would rectify the situation. His responce was "we'll have another piece cut for you in a week". That's it? I refuse to wait a other week. He replied with.. "I'm not going to discount you anything". I mentioned to him that I took off from work and will have to do the same again. He could careless. So with that being said. I had my money refunded and him take his stone back. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! read more
