They will customize your order as best as they can, and when I ask for extra of anything they ACTUALLY give you extra. I love their Lomein and fried tofu so much, and they have good yum yum sauce. Is this "4 star" food? Not really, but I love cheap Chinese and these guys do what they do. You can eat there if you want to, but seems like more of a to go place. Not quite as cheap as bottom of the barrel Chinese, but still really cheap lunch. I ordered some chicken with mixed vegetables and some General Tso's chicken. Both were great. Perfectly crispy and sauced General Tso's. The chicken with mixed veggies was really heavy on the baby corn and could have used more sauce to bring it together. Could also use some spice, but I guess that would be on me to ask. All in all, its pretty good. Not quite China Bistro good, but close enough and I'll stop back by if ever in the area. read more

I ordered the scallion chicken (I asked for the opinion of the girl who was working there) lunch portion, and it was delicious! The inside of the restaurant doesn't have any bells or whistles. It's small and plain. But when I want quick Chinese food, I don't really care about the ambience, just the food. It's DEFINITELY a takeout joint, but there ARE table settings inside and the bathrooms are clean. The hot & sour soup is delicious, chock full of goodies & would clear a rhino's nostrils.. but had carrot shreds I didn't expect. My chicken lo mein was outstanding. I ordered general tso's which might not have had actual chicken under the breading. It was exceptionally dry although I could imagine it might have had good flavor 3-4 days ago when it was fresh. This came with fried rice which had a very heavy smoke flavoring which was unfortunate. The meal also came with an egg roll which is my favorite but this egg roll was simply awful. It had a strong and distinct flavor which I think of as an msg flavor but I really don't know what it is. I just know it was yucky. I was given vegetables in a smelly sauce :( I was then told I would have a credit on my number for the next order, however when I called back the manager asked "what you want?!" and added Chow Mein is not noodles. The food at this restaurant is pretty good, so it was disappointing when we saw the proprietor and his wife loudly berate a customer who claimed they got her order wrong. She had asked for a "vegetable" version of a dish which usually contains meat and, misunderstanding, the wife brought her the "meat" version. When the customer demurred, the couple started haranguing her, telling her she was wrong and complaining that they'd now have to throw the food away. I don't think many people eat at the restaurant but there was a steady line of customers getting take-out.
