Terminal C, the Uber/Lyft pickup is now on level 3 of the parking garage.. not sure I like that given how much parking it takes away, but traffic flow is better on the airport road. Travel out of here was a bit chaotic - blaming that more on United. read more

I believe I've flown out of EWR, two times prior 84/ not my first choice, but I was headed to Tokyo, and the flight was convenient. The staff here wasn't the not helpful, and made it seem Ike you were bothering them to ask for directions. I will say I got through very quickly but that may have been one of the sole positives here. read more

United and Newark Airport executed another celebration in Terminal C, Gate 105, for the unusual 7 HUB Run (IAD, ORD, IAH, DEN, LAX and SFO) on June 6 with lot of fanfare Part of the gate was decked out with balloons, large EWR letters, signs and free continental breakfast (including cans of Illy Cold Brew - usually $6 on the plane). In addition there was a welcoming speech from Newark Airport management as well the President of the Mileage Plus Program. It was a great kickoff for the 7 HUB Run and looked like a lot of effort was put into the planning and execution by both United and the airport. read more

Check in took longer than we expected. Got there at 12:00 left check in at around 1:00. Security was about what you'd expect then made our way to the gate. Seating at our gate was pretty clean. Starbucks around Gate C94/C95 was very crowded and had quite a long line. However the workers were very good at moving the line. Got my drink and went back to the gate without any issues. read more

I'm currently waiting for my flight at Gate 90, Terminal C in Newark Airport. Check point was a little bit different and slow as usually. I heard TSA employees are struggling with payment. I saw at the news that they are still working without payment...Hope everything goes well with this issue. This airport is very close to my home and it's always clean. If you ask for help, the staff is always ready to assist with any issues. Right now, Gate 90 is spotless and people are peacefully working. There are plenty of power outlets to charge your phone or plug in your laptop to get some work done. I love using EWR to travel; this time I'm heading to Mexico. United Airlines always provides great service as well. I just had breakfast/lunch at a place right in front of the gate--the prices were fair and I'll be posting a review for them soon. I really didn't spend too much time here, just connecting through here. However, I did go all the way from terminal a to terminal C, a bit of a challenge there since we had a very short period of time to make the transition. However, United has a shuttle that allows you to stay inside security and go from a to see without much trouble in about 8 to 10 minutes. We were able to make the connection because there was plenty of space in the walkways and it wasn't too crowded. It looked as if they have lots of places to eat and get drinks and I mostly noticed that they have a lot of places to plug-in chargers or workstations so that people can get things done or at least get their phones charged up before their next flight. read more

The early flights fly out of Newark are mainly calm and without drama... if you know what I mean. Less chance of getting affected by the delays of previous flights, with many business travelers (low-maintenance-inflight), and shorter line of TSA! Terminal C is very beautiful, with great restaurants and two Starbucks locations, L'Occitane boutique. read more

This was a great experience in an airport terminal. All of the news stories talk about many issues at this flight path and tower but the terminal here is nice. There are so many places to eat, so many shops, many amenities and lounges here. I also liked how a lot of their areas were highlighted with blue LED lights. This was very comforting as a traveler to see fresh bright lights during my travels. I did also notice that the walkways are nice and wide for many travelers to navigate with luggage. It is one of the older terminals and seems to frequently be our arrival terminal. The seating situation at the gates is still a joke. However, on our last visit, we had to use the airport shuttle to get to Terminal A and found signage easy to follow and had a very pleasant experience riding the shuttle. If you have ever had to use their shuttle system ~ do not worry. You do not have to go through security again, there are usually multiple buses waiting and the whole process took about 10 minutes. Kudos for that one. read more

EWR is always clean and a very good experience. Check in is no joke. They expect you to be ready to make the lines run smooth and quickly, which it does flawlessly. Kudos to TSA and all they deal with on an hourly basis! My only complaint is the outlets at the tables. None of them work which is a real shame while you wait for boarding. read more

It's always great to visit Newark Terminal C. This terminal is clean and spacious. Lots windows so you can see the planes. Also lights come in so the place s lively. We usually fly United. Easy drop off and check in. The security line is long if no TSA pre check so plan your time accordingly. Honestly it is a really busy airport. They have done a good job to maintain it nicely throughout the day! read more

This is a fun terminal. I've been here four times over the past 8 months and it is a very nice terminal. There are tons of great restaurants/bars to enjoy drinks and food. There are several areas to sit down and charge your devices. The bathrooms are nice and clean. There are plenty of places to shop or grab something pre or post flight. The architecture is beautiful. Stores all sell the same uninteresting food and snack items. Bathrooms water comes out at a trickle, air drier would take an hour to dry your hands. People who decide what to buy need to see what people buy in the real world. Each store should carry different items. . read more

Terminal C always seems to be busier and less organized than Terminal A. I usually fly in and out of Terminal A or C to and from Tampa. I would say it's an average, but busy airport Terminal. I prefer Terminal A. read more

First time being in terminal C while flying out back home to chicago. This place was absolutely great besides dealing with the TSA but once you're through security this place has a lot to offer! Great selection food, drinks and merch. This whole terminal looks modernized and up to date. I personally think that there wasn't enough restrooms. It's easy to walk around and find what you need unless your gate is somewhere far away. The food court here is absolutely one of the best that I've ever been to at airport! Hands down! Terminal C is also really clean! I am not a fan of New Jersey or visiting New York but I will happily come back to Terminal C! read more

This time I found the TSA line in Terminal C. Security screening was much easier there. Lots of restaurants and shops inside. Post renovation, it looked really nice. Lots of seating spots were available, all were equipped with usb charging ports. Lots of restrooms placed conveniently between gates. Not too bad, as far as airports go. There is a lot of waiting room, security was pretty efficient, and there is a decent amount of dining and shopping options. There was one of those baby grand pianos you see in TikTok videos, and various people definitely stopped to play, which made for a fun wait. Plenty of restrooms, well labeled. Here's the thing - the bar is low. It's an airport. It's crowded, annoying, and expensive. If you can get over that, it was a decent enough experience. read more

I was very impressed with terminal C in EWR. This is a United Airlines terminal. The restaurant choices are varied and plentiful. Instead of rows of seats, there are dozens of work stations where you can sit with your laptop or tablet and do some work while charging your device on the many outlets. The terminal was clean, roomy and well laid out. The signage was also very good, I found my way very easily. As long as I have plenty of connecting time, I would consider flying in/out of EWR in the future. read more

I went to terminal c today to travel the airport was clean but the reason I giving this a 3 stars is because when I went to use the bathroom in the c1 concourse I saw an otg employee Muslim/Indian who would put his feet in the sink to wash himself I noticed many other otg employee were doing the same I felt disgusted and they would leave water splashes on the floor I feel bad for anyone who washed there hand or brushed there teeth in the countertop/sinks. read more

I was here many times to travel for business or pleasure. I was most recently here to fly to and from Barcelona for my Mediterranean vacation cruise. My United TSA pre-check went smoothly. I also enjoyed my United Club, which was close to our C Terminal gate. My 787-10 UA120 flight to Barcelona boarded on time so I was happy. My flights to and from Barcelona were on schedule despite all the problems EWR had with their flights in early June. Our return flight 787-10 UA121 also departed and arrived on time to Terminal B (not United's Terminal C). Overall I was happy with both roundtrip flights. Our return to Terminal B Passport and Customs Clearance was much slower due to the many incoming international flights of other airlines at Terminal B. Last year United's Terminal C international passport and customs clearance was much faster than Terminal B passport and customs clearance. My roundtrip airfare cost $1,480. I love United's non-stop premier economy international flights. I frequently get upgraded, but not this time. More to come regarding our off site parking at EWR. read more

The airport seemed pretty large. The signage outside the airport is very confusing so I recommend allowing yourself plenty of time to get there if you aren't familiar with it. The TSA agent that scanned my initial boarding pass (last name something like (Wetherton or Warington) was an extremely rude African American woman who clearly hates her job. Many other staff members were polite and helpful which I really appreciated. I noticed some homeless people sleeping on the chairs in some parts of the airport. Let's just say it's a little different than what I see in the Charleston area airport. There is a Starbucks inside along with a few eateries and gifts shops. read more

We got off our plane at the last gate of terminal a, and none of the people walkers worked so we had to drag our luggage. Seemed like a half a mile. Coming from Europe the Newark airport looks pathetic and the New Jersey Transit train station is even worse. If you're flying with United Airlines, whether domestic or international, you will be in Terminal C. I've always had a smooth experience traveling to and from Newark Airport. The airport has improved a great deal over the years. Recently, I took a red-eye flight from Newark (EWR) to Portland (PDX), and back. The departures level was easy to be dropped off at. I found the bag drop-off shortcut very quickly. Security was efficient and there were professionals helping to move the lines along. Once through security, there are a bunch of eateries and shops where you can kill time before your flight. Walking through to get to the gates, there's the assisted walkway but also enough space to walk on your own despite the amount of foot traffic there. It's clean and there are lots of places to sit and charge your electronic devices. Terminal C is a good airport terminal. read more

Easy airport to fly into for Thanksgiving day and surprisingly out of on Monday after Thanksgiving. Holiday travel is always busy but thanks to TSA passes definitely made for shorter lines. Be prepared for mostly cashless purchases for food and have to use an app / website in food court. Overall, easy to get to rental car and around airport for such an International airport. read more
