Check in took longer than we expected. Got there at 12:00 left check in at around 1:00. Security was about what you'd expect then made our way to the gate. Seating at our gate was pretty clean. Starbucks around Gate C94/C95 was very crowded and had quite a long line. However the workers were very good at moving the line. Got my drink and went back to the gate without any issues.

I'm currently waiting for my flight at Gate 90, Terminal C in Newark Airport. Check point was a little bit different and slow as usually. I heard TSA employees are struggling with payment. I saw at the news that they are still working without payment...Hope everything goes well with this issue. This airport is very close to my home and it's always clean. If you ask for help, the staff is always ready to assist with any issues. Right now, Gate 90 is spotless and people are peacefully working. There are plenty of power outlets to charge your phone or plug in your laptop to get some work done. I love using EWR to travel; this time I'm heading to Mexico. United Airlines always provides great service as well. I just had breakfast/lunch at a place right in front of the gate--the prices were fair and I'll be posting a review for them soon. Blessings and thanks to everyone working at the airport, for United, and specifically here at Gate 90!

I really didn't spend too much time here, just connecting through here. However, I did go all the way from terminal a to terminal C, a bit of a challenge there since we had a very short period of time to make the transition. However, United has a shuttle that allows you to stay inside security and go from a to see without much trouble in about 8 to 10 minutes. We were able to make the connection because there was plenty of space in the walkways and it wasn't too crowded. It looked as if they have lots of places to eat and get drinks and I mostly noticed that they have a lot of places to plug-in chargers or workstations so that people can get things done or at least get their phones charged up before their next flight.

The early flights fly out of Newark are mainly calm and without drama... if you know what I mean. Less chance of getting affected by the delays of previous flights, with many business travelers (low-maintenance-inflight), and shorter line of TSA! Terminal C is very beautiful, with great restaurants and two Starbucks locations, L'Occitane boutique.

Lots of negative reviews but that was just not my experience. The airport was clean and there were many choices to kill time during our layover.

This was a great experience in an airport terminal. All of the news stories talk about many issues at this flight path and tower but the terminal here is nice. There are so many places to eat, so many shops, many amenities and lounges here. I also liked how a lot of their areas were highlighted with blue LED lights. This was very comforting as a traveler to see fresh bright lights during my travels. I did also notice that the walkways are nice and wide for many travelers to navigate with luggage. This is a great airport.

EWR is always clean and a very good experience. Check in is no joke. They expect you to be ready to make the lines run smooth and quickly, which it does flawlessly. Kudos to TSA and all they deal with on an hourly basis! My only complaint is the outlets at the tables. None of them work which is a real shame while you wait for boarding.

Unfortunately not a lot open when I was there and we were pretty tired. But normally it looked like a lot of restaurants and shops. They had a piano out and random people were playing and you could hear it throughout the terminal.

Our airlines was located in Terminal C of the Newark airport. Our ride share dropped us off in front of our airlines which was convenient. Once we arrived at our gate, we thought the businesses and restaurants were fairly limited.

It's always great to visit Newark Terminal C. This terminal is clean and spacious. Lots windows so you can see the planes. Also lights come in so the place s lively. We usually fly United. Easy drop off and check in. The security line is long if no TSA pre check so plan your time accordingly. Honestly it is a really busy airport. They have done a good job to maintain it nicely throughout the day!

For those that remember how bad this airport was back in the 1990's this has done a 180. This airport has improved greatly and I have nothing bad to say. Every employee I've encountered has been friendly and helpful and the bathroom was clean. Clean seating areas too. Not minding my 2.5 hour layover at all.

This is a fun terminal. I've been here four times over the past 8 months and it is a very nice terminal. There are tons of great restaurants/bars to enjoy drinks and food. There are several areas to sit down and charge your devices. The bathrooms are nice and clean. There are plenty of places to shop or grab something pre or post flight. The architecture is beautiful. Great terminal. See too soon :)

Always a pleasure traveling through Newark no problems. Although baggage claim may take a while you always get them.

I started my trip with an Uber from Manhattan's Financial District to Newark. I left earlier than I probably needed to because I was expecting the usual New York/New Jersey traffic, but the ride was surprisingly smooth. Once I arrived at Terminal A, I noticed the terminal was very modern and spacious. If you've flown through the older Newark terminals, it's completely different! The terminal is bright, clean, and easy to navigate! Security moved much faster than I expected! There was also plenty of signage throughout the terminal! I never felt like I was searching for my gate. The seating areas were comfortable, with lots of charging stations available! Boarding with JetBlue was organized, quick, and easy, especially for a late night flight leaving to Orlando! The gate area had plenty of seating! The staff were friendly throughout the process as well which was awesome! Once onboard, the flight to Orlando was smooth and comfortable! Flying JetBlue out of Newark, Terminal A is a huge upgrade and one of the nicest domestic terminals I've traveled through recently.

And you'd be right. But there are other issues that cause me to Yelp out. Let's begin, shall we? After the ticket counter, you have to walk your checked bag over to the baggage handlers. And, Every. Single. Time. These are your instructions from the ticket counter: take your bag "over there" where the agent motions to what looks like a very large barn door sized opening with baggage handlers and bags inside of it. Pretty big and obvious target, huh? That's probably what the agent means, right? Nope. She actually meant the small damn side door that isn't even remotely visible to her gesticulating arm wave. To their credit, there's a large sign that tries to 'splain to you that it is the smaller invisible door you are aiming for, but the sign isn't well placed and is easily missed (too high up). So, when you make the mistake of delivering your bag to those Jersey attitudes at the wrong door, they less-than-politely bark at you (at least they don't bite). I go in and out of here enough that I only made the wrong door mistake once, about 10 years ago. During my trip in last week, I did my normal, friendly "good morning!" smile to the baggage guy at the correct door, and got the nicest response ever in 10 years: he actually grumbled. I almost melted. I could go on about the worst delays in the country, cancelled flights for seemingly no reason and certainly no explanation, a near-fight I saw between two TSA agents at security, or stepping in spilled liquids once, or the awful design of those damn pods with not much ventilation where it roasts in the summer and with very few food or store choices, or the fact that they don't adhere to the TSA precheck rules (laptops out and shoes off! We don't care that you gave up all your privacy to big brother for a KTN to get around it!), but really, they are supposed to be building a new terminal A so maybe this will all go away like a bad dream soon. So, I can't end this without at least one positive comment for A2: at least it isn't Terminal C. That's another review for another day...

Things generally run smoothly with things with TSA depending on the airlines and I can say the same for most everything here and usually no complaints it's just a larger airport. This time around I flew Delta and for me I'm grateful everything went smoothly even with such a short distance Gainsville to Jersey with one layover sometimes this can be frustrating but all is well and they know what they are doing. You are not going to get any personal attention like you do at the smaller airports. Newark is large and always very crowded I actually prefer Atlanta but I never spend much time in either thankfully. On my return home at Newark my flight again was on time and everything at the airport went ok. It's always a lot of chaos and I noticed that there was a lot going on from a major multi year construction as part of a massive regional modernization framework being done. All of this has made moving around a little bit more challenging in certain areas of the airport. Some of the active projects include a 3.5 billion replacement of the AirTrain system and initial upgrades for a 200 million dollar overhaul of terminal B and ongoing airfield and radar enhancements. This definitely made it a little more difficult for me as well to navigate through where I needed to go. Still grateful that Newark is only 20 minutes from my son and daughter in laws.
