I had a flat tire on my Tesla today. I therefore needed to be towed to a tire shop. (AAA towing was great!) When we arrived, the place was packed and now I know why. Even for a stranger, that was not going to buy new tires, the service was top shelf at an unbelievably low price. They sold us a used Tesla tire for peanuts and installed it. It's first come first serve, but I didn't have to wait long before Kim had an opening for me. Even when they were busy and short staffed that day they took care to make sure I was happy and on the same page. Newbridge tire had best prices, got them in the next day, had them mounted and on in about a half hour. Manager was busy as back, but attentive and nice as were the staff that worked on our car. I did my research and learned that Newbridge Tire Center has the latest 'high-end' equipment to safely mount and balance low-profile tires on wide rims. They also knew how to properly lift my exotic car, which doesn't have much ground clearance. Their prices were very great, especially when considering the quality of care. I was offered the choice between two kinds of tires, one a bit more expensive than the other, but was never pressured to buy the more expensive. Picked up a big nail in one of the run flat tires on my BMW. Drove very slowly over there at 4:30 p.m. Within 15 minutes they removed the tire and patched it. I was out of there by 5:20. They reset the tire pressure monitor on the car computer and adjusted the pressure on the other 3 tires as well. Charged me all of $21.50. Then they apologized for the wait! These guys are great! I brought my BMW in with a slow leak in one tire fully expecting to be told that they didn't fix run-flat tires in an attempt to sell me new tires instead. I have had that happen twice before. Let's just say 40 minutes later they pulled 2 screws, patched the run-flat, remounted the tire and reset the TPMS for under $20. On the road from Missouri we picked up a lag screw or a bolt it the tread just right of center and this was the closest to us on Google but knowing now what I didn't know then I would've driving ten times further out of our way to get there! Damn near a football team running round like a hive of bees removing, patching and reinstalling tires so fast it would impress Mario Andretti! There were five or so customers in the waiting room and I talked to Steve, told him our situation but I didn't want to butt in line and he said, "you picked the right place. We're fast n good" and boy was he right! The wife and her sisters said we were there 20 minutes! They never got out of the Expedition but of course, I was outside "supervising". When all was said and done I went in to settle up and when Steve said 21.70ish I said, "what?!!!". Great service, great guys and twenty bucks!!!!!! A no brainer! This place was amazing. I was on a trip to Asheville from Atlanta. I found a nail in my tire while getting gas, it wasn't leaking, but it was concerning. My girlfriend looked up tire shops on Yelp and Travis was the highest rated. The next morning I took the car over there to have them patch the nail. Not only were they fast - there was a lobby full of people and I was in and out in 30 minutes - it turns out the nail didn't actually go all the way through the tire. They removed it, double checked it to make sure it was safe and sent me on my way. I tried to pay him multiple times, but he refused because they didn't actually fix anything. This place used to be Reece's years ago when I lived in Asheville until an employee dicked the Reese family over by stealing and copyrighting the name. Now it's Newbridge Tire Center (I hear Reece's is down the road a mile or two), but the same Reece family that has had it for generations still operates the spot. (Two brothers ran the shop on the day I came in, one of their wives worked the desk, etc.) I came here on my trip through town for a tire rotation because I recalled the rapid service and very reasonable prices. On my first trip several years ago, I almost felt like I was in a Nascar pit: as soon as I pulled up and described my problem, 4 guys with rapid jacks ran up to the car and within 60 seconds had the car up in the air. it was impressive. This time there were 2 people ahead of us in line and we STILL GOT OUT OF THERE IN 20 MINUTES! It was impressive. Total cost was $32 for balancing 4 tires. They also gave me some advice for when I got back to Austin having to do with my tires. Straight-up quick service, great pricing, and southern hospitality separates this place from most mechanics I know. If I lived in Asheville I would bring my car here for everything I needed having to do with tires. A great family business that you can trust. read more

I have been to this place 3 or 4 times and every time I go I like the place more and more. At first glance it seems a little chaotic and run down, but the guys working always seem to know which car came in and in which order, so If you stay with your vehicle you will be waited on in order. It is a family owned business, the owner and his wife are always working when I go there and I looks like maybe two of the other workers are their sons. the wife is a sweet lady who always has a nice smile and a kind word. They are all VERY hard workers and very efficient. I'm sure everyone can work the job from A-Z, but it seems like when they are really rushed they go into 'assembly line mode'. One guy will pull your tires, one guy will replace and another will balance, but it's always done quickly and professionally. I have never had to take my tires back to this place due to something I felt wasn't done correctly. The prices are extremely reasonable and again they really know their stuff. They also sell used tires for around $25 bucks but have limited sizes and quantities. I would highly recommend this place for any of your tire needs in Asheville. read more
