At first, I was expecting the class to be all physical but to my surprise, they teach amazing life lessons like building confidence, self discipline, hard work, control, and respect. This made me commit. We've also taken this class with multiple instructors and every one of them are so kind and amazing. They are so great with kids and I love them all so much! My girl enjoys this class and it's nice parents can sit in the class to watch. Towards the end, they have you interact with your child in helping them develop their skills which is a nice way to bond. The first time, the owner told me to always check Instagram for updates, so I made sure to do that last night. Today, I showed up again and found the doors locked! I re-checked their Instagram only to see that they posted just before midnight about a cancellation today. It's frustrating because I was excited to try a boxing studio so close to home. It takes motivation to even get the confidence to try a new boxing studio, let alone get there and give it a second chance. I'm not willing to give it a third chance after wasting so much time and energy. The owner needs to be more on top of things. Update the schedule online and give more notice of cancellations; not just post last-minute on Instagram.

Marinoble's offers a variety of instruction in different disciplines! We went in and told them exactly what we wanted, and did not want, for the first few months and they were able to accommodate us with everything we needed. We love our instruction here so far, we look forward to going, and are sad to leave. My littlest is sleeping in his Gi uniform right now. Marinoble's offers such a variety of classes it will accommodate any child and adult. The facility is huge! They have five separate "floors" to instruct various classes simultaneously; including a cage, a boxing ring, a knife throwing center. This means parents can work out in their own class while the kids are having fun learning in another part of the gym. They offer MMA, Kickboxing, JuJitsu, Submission Grappling, BOK FU, Weapons Disarming, and traditional Boxing by actively competing trainers at both the amateur and professional level. My only requests would be large fans, please. The room smells of many sweating people. Okay, not major BO or anything, just man sweat. Of course, the women smell wonderful when we sweat [wink, wink] which can only help deodorize it so much! And the some of the equipment could be maintained better, but it's minor stuff, like having enough properly pumped and working speed bags. **So this is what sold me! The prices are reasonable and they offer family discounts off both the enrollment and tuition anywhere from 25% - 50% off. Then the owner, Dave Marinoble, offered free passes good for a few days of classes to try it out. When I asked when the days would begin, the manager, Kim, told me not to worry about it; to take my time sampling the various classes to help make a better decision. No pressure, wonderful. I brought the boys in and they happily welcomed them and gave them semiprivate instruction to catch up with the group. The looks on their faces said it all. The instructors were so happy and fun while they taught, my boys were grinning ear to ear the entire time. When they finished, their first question was, "When can we come back"? Another good sign! Happy, nurturing teachers, great management and the owner is awesome too. He teaches many of the classes. He has more energy than I've seen any person have! Maybe he can lend me some for my "tired parent" days? Instead, they got me working out in the back room and even I had a blast. After the first day, I told Kim, "We're sold! Give us a few more days to choose which classes", which was fine. For every age 5-85 and every skill level. They train active competitors, kids, soccer moms and everyone in between. The gym is female friendly. The variety of classes and times makes it easy to get a butt-kicking workout in every day. The coaching is fantastic! So far I've had Kim and Abrahm, and the boys have had Tiffany? and Dave Marinoble, plus a few others. We've liked them all! **I strongly recommend checking this place out for fitness, self defense training, and competitive sport, for an adult or a child! We're having lots of fun so far. All the instructors for both the adults and kids are super cool and chill and they have a wide range of workout equipment for days you can't take a class. He's so motivating and didn't make me feel ashamed of things I couldn't do or do for very long (and it was a lot I couldn't do but willing to work on it) I loved the different type of workouts here. The rounds and how this whole program is set up. Very motivating, clean and warming but amped up atmosphere, really gets you in the mood to work out. After my test workout today I ended up signing up for a membership. So I'd say things went very well here and will continue to go and refer others.

I took the option to support the business and keep paying per my contract even though after February I never went in there again! In September I called five times and never got a response, finally sent multiple emails asking to be released in October from my contract. John finally emailed me back and apologized, said my contract was completed. Then 9 Rounds charged me AGAIN in November! Guess who is STILL getting emails saying I owe them for December as well?! This is badly managed business. Seriously. What a way to payback supporting a business for a service I haven't used in 10 months. Never again. **Update** They are STILL trying to charge me an extra month! With late fees! Because they didn't handle their paperwork, now I am getting emails saying that this will impact my credit, blah blah. WOW. WORST BUSINESS EVER.
