Welcome speech by Roderick Thomas, Cemetery Director and then the Presentation and Posting of Colors. The National Anthem, God Bless America, Amazing Grace and Postlude Music from the amazing Cornerstone Chorale and the VFW Band of Colorado. Many great Guest Speakers and Moment of Silence and dedication of Wreaths by Goldstar Families escorted by Young Marines & Civil Air Patrol (so impressive to see the dedication of youth participating in these ceremonies). Also had Military Rifle Salute, Taps, Benediction, Ringing of the Honor Bell, Closing Remarks and an impressive Flyover. Was so happy to see how many people came to the ceremony and visitors at the graves of our veterans that are no longer with us. We all must not forget that Freedom is not Free!

I think people would rather wait a few extra weeks than be rushed and reminded that we need to hurry along so another ceremony could take place. I don't feel this place cared about the time and effort it takes for family to get there to only have 15 minutes to say goodbye. The person who ran our ceremony didn't even say their names. Grandpa served in the Air Force and should have received a certain level of respect and appreciation for serving the country. The grounds were beautiful and well cared. Give people more time. Do less services a day to let people take time to say goodbye.

He helped me through all of the steps of planning the service, ordering the essentials, and reserving the chapel time. He was there for me every step of the way on this difficult journey. The chapel and service turned out to be beautiful and honored my loved one in a dignified and comforting manner. The woman in charge of arranging the entombment was difficult to work with. She was unprofessional, pushy, and tried to rush me through the process even though I asked her to slow down so I could ask questions and fully understand the process and paperwork. She needs more training or a different job. Finally, the St. Anthony Crypt where my loved one's final resting place was to be was dirty. Before the service I asked if it could be swept, dusted, and cleaned of dead bugs and cobwebs (all around and on the fountain with the statue of Mary). The morning of the service, I went to check and it had not been cleaned in any way. I returned with cleaning supplies and did it myself a couple of hours before the service. By the way, the fountain no longer operates so the least they could do is keep it clean.

Those months passed, and nothing happened. There was no headstone, no grass--just dirt and a lot of waiting. Throughout this process, my mom and I have been in contact with Jessica. We were given four different dates and timeframes for when the headstone would be installed. Each time, we were told it would only be "a few more weeks." We checked again in February--still nothing. We returned on May 17th and still nothing. I sent another email hoping for answers and never received a response. Today is December 15th, 2025. It has been over a year, and there is still no headstone and no update. Every visit breaks my heart all over again. This has been an incredibly painful experience during an already unbearable time, and I am deeply disappointed. I wish I had spared myself more heartbreak and laid my baby to rest somewhere else. Please spare yourself the added pain and consider carefully before placing your loved ones in the care of Mount Olivet. In my experience, there was a profound lack of compassion and understanding during an already unimaginable time of grief. What should have been handled with care and respect instead became another source of heartbreak.

Several months ago, she assisted my mother in making beautiful brochures for her brother. She was pleasant and compassionate when helping my elderly mother. At the end of this experience, Delia felt more like a friend. When my mother passed away, I knew I wanted Delia to help. She guided the family through this very painful process with ease. She went above and beyond making sure every detail was executed to mirror my mother's last wishes. She was very patient and kind with each request. Delia made sure everything went perfect the day of the service and even personally attended. Her recommendations for Mariachis, beautiful slide show, lovely brochures, and personal touches helped ensure everything was perfect for our beloved Mother. Steve from the Lakewood location also went above and beyond. He was so kind and came early so we could set up in the morning the day of the service. He carefully placed all flower arrangements that were delivered and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall Romero's staff helped guide us through this difficult time and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This is a very special place. When they came to pick my mother up, they left a long-stem red rose on her bed once they took her. I highly recommend them. Stella

The representative, or "arranger", was insensitive and lacked empathy from the very first contact. Rushing me by explaining to me that she had a lot of other families to contact today when I was slow in answering the many questions being asked about my dead son. I asked about keeping the screws from my son's scapula and skull from previous injuries and was told "they will melt during cremation". It was not until after the cremation was performed that I discovered through research that the screws would've been intact since they were titanium. I requested five locks of hair from my son's body to be sent to me. The "arranger" FAILED to relay that information and the locks of hair were NOT saved!!! The week they were to receive my son's body from the medical examiner, I was told that the "arranger" would contact me once his body was received. By Tuesday of that week I had not received any word from them so I called and when the "arranger" answered, she was short with me and simply asked " what can I do for you?". As if she had forgotten that she told me she would contact me once they received his body. I will always regret not asking her that day to make sure his hair locks were saved! After all was said and done, they tried to buy me off for their mistakes with some cheap, made in China keepsakes to try to make up for their mistakes. I would NEVER recommend using this business unless you want insult added to your injury!

They may be good at turning loved ones to ashes, but they sucked in every other aspect of the interaction. They were always pleasant, but the whole interaction was super frustrating. Initially, after signing with them, weeks went by where we couldn't reach them, and we never heard back from anyone. The one time I got a prompt callback was when I got tired of the BS and left a profanity-laced message. Heard right back! I went by their offices, at the address that is on EVERY Google search you could imagine.......and they aren't at that location anymore. Amazingly frustrating. Data entry is also a weak spot for them. Allegedly they were sending emails to update us, but my sister and I never recvd anything from them. Yes, we checked Spam. Suffice to say we were very relieved 6 weeks later when we finally got Joslyn's ashes. 6 weeks!!! Is that normal??

We did a nearly exhaustive, thorough search of crematoriums that performed cremation in the Denver area. We ultimately decided on Mile High because of the comforting, compassionate & kind, understanding communications with Gerard, its owner. He offered us a simple, 'no frills' menu of his very reasonably priced services, which, as a bonus & relief, included his being the only person we had contact with - not different ones with each call. Gerard is truly a 'mensch' due to his consistent responsiveness & understanding of our wishes & needs. Gerard's Mile High Crematorium gets five stars because of all the aforementioned plusses AND because he agreed to think & act 'outside' of the box regarding some of our desires & requests. With Gerard, 'what you see is what you get'! A true-blue human being, for whom no question was a stupid question & no request was an unreasonable one. We felt comforted, trusting, & secure due to his decades-long experience - simply put: we were in good hands with Mile High & Gerard. Our experience was superb and, we hope, that when the time comes, you will feel the same.
