Each time I was there, either by force or agreement, I was somehow traumatized by the staff unnecessarily and/or excessively restraining kids and otherwise punishing mentally ill children because of their mental states. Imagine waking up in an unfamiliar place, a confused 12 year old who's never had their blood drawn and then being rudely awoken for a blood-draw, in the dark, at 6am, and being aggressively instructed to allow some unknown person to put a needle in your arm. So many worse things have happened there, none of the needs I had from treatment were properly treated. The medications given to me were basically never appropriate for my conditions, generally ineffective and even harmful, some have left me with long term side effects, and the Doctors were always short with me and nearly universally rude and inattentive to what I was actually struggling with, which was ADHD, depression, and panic attacks. They put me on pretty dangerous anti psychotics, for a person who has never been psychotic, I needed to be taken seriously about my own experiences instead of gaslit to think I was the crazy one and then blown off when I just needed some help that nobody would take the few minutes to figure out.

I was dismissed as a patient for calling out my nurse practitioner, Jessica Bustos, for not…read moreupholding her Hippocratic oath. After I had major surgery involving an implant swap (which felt like undergoing a mastectomy all over again), she allowed several days to pass before properly medicating me, despite my numerous attempts to request dosage adjustments for my pain. Her staff informed me that I was not allowed to take more medication, even though I was suffering from severe surgical pain in addition to my usual pain. Furthermore, she accused me of being an addict and abusing medication due to my history of being on Suboxone. I have NEVER abused my medications. I requested to be placed on Suboxone in an effort to try a different approach; I was NOT put on it because I was an addict. As the saying goes, "Assumptions make an ass out of you and me." Shame on Jessica Bustos and the staff at Solas Health. It's disheartening that I now have to write to the medical board due to the mistreatment I experienced. Jessica Bustos refused to meet with me in person to discuss my concerns. This is truly shameful.

I called extremely rude lady at the front desk (first time I've ever seen her) told me I have the 15 minutes and that's it. I want 100 on the highway trying to get there. I called her again and told her I will be one minute late. I showed up at 5:51. She looked dead in the face and said the doctor told me you have to reschedule. This is a medication you're not supposed to miss. I'm absolutely disgusted with these people. Never again. not to mention the last time I had an appointment once again. My medication was not there so they decided to give me somebody else's medication who didn't show up. Completely out of control.
