    Torn lamp shade

Booked a King Suite over Labor Day weekend. Cost for one night was $284. When we entered the suite we noticed the following: carpet missing on the floor, drapes falling down, tear in a lamp shade, and a couch with a scuff mark, which felt like it was going to break when we sat on it. We informed the front desk of the issues and were told a refund would be issued. However, moments later the same individual informed us that since we booked the suite through EXPEDIA we would need to go through them to initiate the refund. We contacted EXPEDIA and they said they would follow up with the hotel and initiate the refund. Finally,, the hotel representative informed EXPEDIA that the booking was non-refundable and nothing further would be done. Just plain unacceptable! For nearly $300 a night, we deserve better quality. FOLLOW UP: A day later, Emily Turner (Director of Services) contacted us and said she was sorry to hear that our stay did not meet expectations. She mentioned that Leidy, the Front Desk Agent who assisted us informed her of our stay, feedback, and asked for assistance in getting us a refund via Expedia, as we booked our stay through them. Emily informed us that she could not issue a direct refund; however, she was able to reach out to their account representative for Expedia, and they were able to execute a refund per her request. We received a refund of $235.01 ... Total we paid for our stay: $284.

Passing through and we were happy to find a clean and modern hotel for the night. Standard room start at $140 and after taxes runs around $170. For that you get a view of the interior building walls, but a super comfy bed, kitchenette and bar fridge. This room had an adjoining door to another room and we could hear a baby crying. There's a small desk next to the fire place which didn't work. Bottled water for $5 or $3 each based on size. Free Keurig coffee. Nice to have dishes, cleaning supplies and paper towels. No microwave. Bathroom provisions: luxurious bath robes, thick towels, cotton balls, Q-tips, body lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioning, body wash. Verbena fragrance so bring your own if you are bothered by smells. I loved it though. There's a closet in the bathroom containing a small safe. Nice deep bath tub. Great for soaking and the hot water faucets produced hot water immediately. Appreciated the magnifying mirror. I saw there are heated bathroom floors but I suspect these are only available at the resort units with the personal hot tubs. Lobby entrance has 3 steps so be prepared to lift up your luggage. There's a cute candy store at the entrance with self checkout. All in all, a very comfortable place with many interesting stores around you. Unfortunately many are closed on Sundays.

The Family and I stayed at the Newpark Resort Hotel on what was day one of our Grand Tetons/Yellowstone adventure. Three weary travelers arrived shortly after noon hoping to check in early. Thankfully, we were able to. As room prices go in Park City, the Newpark Resort Hotel is a bargain. I'm guessing that's not the case during ski season, but since I'm a cheap Scot, I'll take a bargain whenever I can. We were adding room 319A. A surprisingly spacious, well appointed room. It had a very comfortable queen sized bed and a sofa bed. FYI-If you're vertically challenged, the bed might be a difficult to get into. There is also a gas fireplace, a small wet bar, and a HUGE bathroom with an even HUGER tub. You could easily fit six people in it. Again, if you're vertically challenged, the tub may be difficult to get into and out if. The wet bar is fully stocked with a fridge, small sink, silverware, coffee maker, plates, etc., but oddly....no microwave. Which really didn't make much sense to me. The Newpark Resort Hotel is located in an area that is full of activity. There are several restaurants and shops literally right outside the front door. There is also a Smith's grocery store within walking distance.

Private balcony and hot tub, large bath, open floor plan, good view, and proximity to restaurants made this a great stay!

Five star experience for our 2-day getaway. Hot tub on the balcony was what we sought out and it truly delivered on all our expectations. The water was already pumping hot when we arrived, ready for us to jump in. It has adjustable temperature as well but ours was set to 105 and it was excellent with the nippy early November air. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was dreamy. I wanted to steal one and take it home (always tempted, never do). We had everything we needed and I'm already planning our next trip the

Very impressed with Newpark resort, was our first time staying here. We booked one bedroom luxury suite which was very reasonably priced and included a full kitchen with plates, utensils and appliances like toaster and blender. Full size fridge, microwave and a small dishwasher. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast! The deck had gorgeous view of the mountains and came with a hot tub! So cool! The suite also had washer dryer and very spacious bathroom. Bedroom was separate and living room had pull out for our kids. Bathroom is huge and the products are amazing. Staff is very friendly and whenever we needed something, they brought us right away esp keurig coffee refills. The resort is walking distance to fantastic restaurants. Kroger is just a short walk to get the basics for your kitchen. The local transport bus stop is right at the entrance of resort. Overall a great stay and can't wait to return.

On a whim we decided to spend the night in Park City and found this hotel by accident as all our regular spots were booked. I was pleased to see that we got more than our money's worth. The room was very clean. The bed super comfortable. Seemed to be sound proof from the other rooms. So many amenities... kitchen, hot tub, spa tub, huge walk in shower, and a fireplace. We only interacted with staff at check in and they were friendly. No issues at all there. The downside was we were right above the pizza place so we smelled pizza cooking all night but lets be real... is that really a negative (check out my review for Maxwells)! Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends!

We were very impressed with this hotel! Extremely friendly employees making us feel welcome the moment we walked in, elegant atmosphere, plenty of parking, lots of food options nearby, free cruisers for riding around, the list goes on! Some may say the rooms are small but I call it cozy! We didn't need a big room so it fit our needs perfectly. Very comfortable bed with a fireplace right in front of it is awesomeness in itself right there!! We will definitely come here again for another staycation!!

No small soaps or lotion containers on the sink.

"I feel like an angel baby swaddled in a cocoon of cloud candy."--Nigel St. Nigel, aka Tim Curry, in Psych. As I laid in the smoothest, softer, and fluffiest bed I have ever slept on, I could only think of this quote. Getting out of bed in the morning was almost impossible. It was our 25th anniversary and we stayed in the Luxury Suite, and it was fantastic. It was perfectly clean, and had everything someone would need to spend a great vacation in Park City. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and service can be excellent. We did not experience that excellent service but I observed it. You see the young man that checked us in was not a very friendly person or volunteered much information. He was not rude, just not friendly or informative; but I observed the other man checking in another guest and he was friendly and provided the guest with information about all of the amenities the hotel offers. I would definitely come back and stay in the Luxury Suite.

Emily greeted us the moment the door opened to the beautiful lobby ... she was so happy to see us I thought maybe she was a long lost friend! The check in was quick and Emily was fantastic telling us about the hotel and surrounding area...absolutely a ten in customer service!! The room (luxury suite) is exactly what it says...luxury...from the amazing bed to the private hot tub on our balcony overlooking the Olympic park...just amazing!!! If you haven't been here...do yourself a favor and come up soon...you'll be very happy !

This resort has AMAZING service, every time I called for something they responded right away. They have a Breeze Ski rental in the lobby and they have a TON of excellent restaurants in the same shopping center. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. COVID protocols were followed. All reception employees were very helpful and full of knowledge. Very good location, close to everything. Highly recommend!

The spacious layout would easily accommodate a family. I've never seen a MVC with a kitchen island and a table for 6. The seating in the living room was ample and everything was updated and in good repair. Of course the location is unbeatable, right on Main Street and across the street from the town lift for ski season. We strolled the town, but ended up driving elsewhere to eat dinner. Parking is simple and located underground. We had no charge as vacation club owners. However, when leaving this morning, we discovered that our car was covered with a dirty splattering of film. We were parked in front of a fenced area of air conditioning units and also saw a drip from overhead pipes. Something must have sprayed out from that area in the front and right side of the car at some point. The windshield wiper fluid had a hard time getting it off so we're hoping it washes off at the car wash! Another oddity was the laminated note in the unit which detailed check out procedures. Usually, when I check out I start the dishwasher as a courtesy and leave the room very tidy. But, this note also requested gathering the towels to the vanity AND stripping the beds of all linens. I have never seen this request at a vacation club or hotel, only at an Airbnb. This is a full-service facility with full-time cleaning staff. There is no reason to ask guests to do this and the request will certainly infuriate many guests who already don't understand that vacation clubs don't have all of the services of a regular hotel. I hope that management sees the folly of this idea. In general, we enjoyed our short stay and were impressed by the room and staff, but hope that management thoughtfully considers our experience and checks the parking area for leaks.

Walkable into town - really cute Main Street. Perfect location if you are skier (when season is open). Units were quiet for most part - however could def hear the folks directly above us. Cons: Couch beds like paper - do not recommend for anyone outside of tiny young children. Only a few elevators - super slow. Parking spaces are tight- had regular size suv and would not go any larger. They want you to run DW, take out trash, wash towels, gather linens upon leaving when you are an owner. While I want to be helpful I'm also on vacation, have paid for the timeshare, pay ownership maintenance dues for upkeep and should not have to feel like I need to fully clean upon leaving. We did help but the only trash cans were in parking level and we were on 3rd floor - very inconvenient. Didn't like the fact they asked all that.

What I didn't expect was the level of luxury at the Montage. From the dining to the service and attention to detail, Montage felt every bit as polished as the reviews might suggest. My expectations for this hotel was kind of low based the things I heard and from a previous stay in another city. Sure, the room was minimalistic and did not have much furniture in it. A sofa in the room would've made the room smaller. All the room had in it was a bed, table, chair, refrigerator and an ironing board. But, that was enough to make it an relaxing room for us. The bathroom was adequate. The shower had both a fancy shower faucet, and hand shower. Korres body wash, shampoo and conditioner was a nice change from the usual Marriott special soaps. The only strange thing about the bathroom was the square toilet. As a Titanium Elite member, breakfast was provided downstairs in their dining room. Breakfast was better than what I had heard. I had heard that it was a Euro breakfast with not much to eat except for a bunch of lunchmeat, toast and yogurt. The lunchmeat turned out to be manchago, brie and cheddar cheese, dry salami, prosciutto and oven roasted turkey. They did have yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, croissants and scones. In addition to these items, they also had hot items like a proscuitto toast and a freshly cooked waffle with fruit. The breakfast was much better than most of the Bonvoy brands. Their gym had treadmills, ellipticals and dumb bells. There wasn't much in there, but, enough to get a good workout. Even I didn't use it, the pool did look nice. From check in to check out, service was very good. The front desk was good at meeting our needs. The restaurant staff was able to meet my needs for breakfast. I was impressed to see that the GM of the hotel worked in the restaurant in the mornings when they were shorthanded. It was a good hotel for us and a great stay.
