We upgraded to a cottage that includes a full kitchen, dining area, living room and private hot tub on the deck with an outdoor fireplace that has two sides, one side in the master bedroom the other out by the hot tub. This hotel is one of the best in the Park City area. We have stayed here more than a dozen times and every time it has been a great experience. We have always stayed in the cottage suites which are detached from the hotel and a short walk. Not a big deal and totally worth the peace and quiet. We have had the typical issues when staying here and the staff has been great and being responsive. Once we even needed to move rooms but they upgraded us for our hassle and it really wasn't a big deal but they really wanted our experience to be above and beyond. We have used the spa several times and the treatments and therapists are outstanding. Getting to the spa is a little confusing but it's worth the minor hassle. Every time we've stayed here we've eaten at least once at Ruth's Chris. As expected the food and the service were top notch. read more

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Park City for a quick 2 night/3 day getaway. It was my first trip during the pandemic and I was pleased with the precautions the hotel had in place to make sure that guests felt safe, socially distanced, etc... We were celebrated his birthday while there, and the concierge and front desk staff were super sweet and helpful and provided an amenity to acknowledge this... We found the cottage room we had spacious and loved that it offered a living area, jacuzzi, kitchenette, and 2 fireplaces. The proximity of the hotel was super convenient for running out and for skiing close-by too. I took advantage of the workout room and spa and was pleased with that experience overall, despite a bit of confusion upon my initial booking. We also enjoyed two breakfasts onsite that were wonderful. There were a few only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: -There was a bit of a sulfur smell in/near our room. -There was no shower cap in the bathroom... I'm sure had I asked for one, they would have brought it. -The level of service and attention to detail is not the same as a Ritz or St. Regis All of that said, I would totally return to this hotel on a future visit and would recommend it to anyone visiting Park City! read more

As an Ambassador Elite member, I was really disappointed with how they treated me just under 1 month out when I tore my ACL and could no longer fly due to an upcoming surgery. I reached out by email to cancel (with a copy of my MRI), as I was a few days outside of the online cancellation window, and they refused to refund me. The wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of august for our 27th anniversary. We booked the presidential suite and it is to say the least is very nice. The grounds are well kept and the hotel though showing signs of age is in good shape. The thing that bothers me the most is the lack of service all in the name of COVID-19. Room service is served in paper containers, really guys? It's proven that soap and water kills the virus and I'm pretty sure you have that in your restaurant kitchen. The other thing that bothered me is during our stay not a single staff member reached out to us to see if we needed anything. So here is my take on the stay and the hotel overall. This like many others have cut staff and service at the onset of COVID but as guest slowly start returning to travel, the hotel industry has discovered that they no longer need to provide any services so this will become the new normal but rates will not go down. As for this hotel a simple gesture of a phone call or nite on our room door asking if we need anything would have gone a long way. read more

Nice hotel but the worst service I have ever had. I travel for work and have stayed at a Marriott over 1800 nights so when I say the worst service it is bad. Started at the check-in, the person checking my wife and I in said 2 words through the process. There is no parking or at least within a reasonable distance from where you are staying. No offer to help with bags nothing. I will say the bartender at Ruth Chris in the hotel was very nice and good but the hostess was a beast. Room service never picks up so you leave a message and they never call back. Being a Marriott Elite member this experience is pushing me to switch to Hilton. read more

Checked in for a meeting on a Sunday afternoon. The one thing I can say, is I don't believe you can get a bad room at this hotel. Large bathrooms with jacuzi tub, walk in shower with 3 options on a shower head. The living room was a couple steps down with a mini kitchen and a fireplace. Small balcony that overlooked the heated outdoor pool and the ski slopes. Absolutely beautiful views. My buddy had a cottage that was slightly bigger, but had a fireplace out on the patio with a hot tub. Yeah, I booked the rooms and somehow he ended up in the better one. Still not sure how that worked. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The main restaurant at the hotel is Ruth Chris Steakhouse, so enough said there. They have drivers to pick you up and take you to the cottages. If you are going to Park City, this is a great option. The rooms are a bit pricey, but worth it (especially when the company is paying for it :) read more

Hotel Park City is part of the Autograph collection and a Marriott property. So 90% of folks probably stay here because of their Marriott rewards. I've had a work conference here and prior to arriving I had no idea what I was getting myself into! In the most positive way. The hotel and the grounds are just plain beautiful. Surrounded by a golf course and the mountains in the far back - simply picturesque. The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated, clean, and gives you a pleasant resort-like feeling the minute you walk in. Free water, coffee, and tea are also provided 'round the clock - win. I didn't stay in one of the cottages (cottage have a private jacuzzi on each balcony) but in the main hotel. The rooms were clean and the king size bed very comfortable, however not much light came in, and the ground seemed squeaky. Also if you look closely you could notice that the interior needed some maintenance. Apart from that, I loved the jacuzzi, the large bed, and comfy leather sofa. Our 1-bedroom villa was plenty of room for 5 people, especially with 2 bathrooms and a pullout couch. We also had our own private balcony with a hot tub! I gotta say, after a long day of skiing at Deer Valley the hot tub was an essential amenity. We enjoyed brunch every morning at the Ruth's Chris attached you the hotel. Background, Marriott Platinum Elite here, went to Hotel Park City for a short ski vacay with my girlfriend and stayed in the Executive Room. Unfortunately, booked during the Corona Virus shutdown, but room 433 #3 on the second floor was FANTASTIC! It was a suite in a cottage with 3 fireplaces and an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. The balcony had a private hot tub that was clean and well maintained. The property was overall well taken care of and in good shape. Pros: *Park City is an awesome city, the hotel is close to the action *The front desk staff were friendly, very casual which I enjoy *Blake drove me to get groceries, he was patient and we had a good short conversation, very nice guy. *Room, hot tub, view, was amazing Cons: *The hotel shut down, was at 10% occupancy, no offer to reduce my rate due to none of the amenities being available... I think I paid about 700 a night in mid March. *The front desk night time attendant, Chelsea, wasn't too friendly. Each time I felt like I was disturbing her to ask a question...Never, "How is your stay? Anything we can do?" *Out of three nights, we got secondary maid service only one night Overall pretty good, just don't expect service like you're at a Ritz or St. Regis and you'll be fine. I would probably give this hotel 1 star, but the physical property and location are phenomenal. I am a multi time Platinum with Marriott. This hotel treats you like you never spent a dime at their property. Several promises made several promises broken by staff. I will skip the restaurant employee who was rude to my client...Promised me points for my stay, (I didnt take the maid service). Despite the lack of creativity Marriott used when naming this Hotel (I mean, come on people! In the age of Boaty McBoatface you couldn't come up with something slightly more pretentious to show off how fancy you are....how about the Royal Regency Sapphire Hotel or the Platinum King. You're welcome) our stay was anything but ordinary. The experience from check in to departure was relaxing and enjoyable. Because we were Marriott rewards members of a certain level, when we checked in we were upgraded to larger accommodations. Our room was beautifully appointed with a king bed on one level and a sunken living area with a fireplace and small kitchen with complimentary water. There were bookshelves stocked with the classics (including Shakespeare) and bathrobes provided which came in handy since it was a bit chilly walking to the heated pool and large hot tub as well as the spa. The bathroom had a huge soaking tub and a separate rock shower. The linens used for the beds were decent quality as well. The grounds were picturesque and abutted the golf course. The pool and hot tub were clean and well heated considering the cold weather. The only constructive critique there is that we wished the concrete were heated. Snowbird's cliff lodge keeps the concrete around their pool heated in the winter and our toes were pretty chilly walking around the pool area in the cold. Also, golfers can see into the pool area, which may bother someone who is more self conscious. There are also two restaurants on site, Ruth's chris and Bandanna's Bar and Grill which both have decent food and leave you with little incentive to leave the grounds of the hotel if you want to hole yourself up. The only other thing that wasn't our favorite was that the coffee maker and coffee provide was Keurig. I know this is Utah, but for a hotel of this caliber I was expecting the coffee to be a notch better. Overall this was a relaxing and luxurious stay and we would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

We stayed here one night and had a wonderful time. We arrived early and our room was not ready yet, so we decided to play 9 holes of golf. It is a well-maintained course. We played the back 9 which goes around the hotel grounds. It was a chillier day so there was hardly anyone playing and we had a nice, leisurely time. The hotel is clean and there are both your "regular" rooms and cottages. The regular rooms are in the main hotel area and the room has a nice sitting area and small kitchenette. The rooms are very clean and tasteful. We had a lovely view of the course, pool, and mountains. The standing shower is a bit small, but not a big deal. We were here in the off-season, and I read some reviews (either on Yelp or TripAdvisor) about the pool area being noisy. I could see how this could happen as the pool area is in a central location and the hotel wraps around it, but we were off on the side so it was quieter. The lobby has coffee and tea and space to lounge around, but it's not a huge space and it can get busy. The staff was very nice, and especially Bailey who was so accommodating; she made our stay go from 4 stars to 5. We would absolutely come back. read more

Very clean with wonderful amenities and a very soft bed. If we were the only guests here, it would have been great. Unfortunately there was a very loud amorous couple next door who showed their love repeatedly for each other both night and morning. Also a small child ran back and forth above us for hours. So, I guess we just got unlucky. The front desk people were great and parking was good. It was also close to everything! Too bad we had to be next to crazy people! read more

The wooden beans and accents made you feel as if you were in a luxury cabin. The fireplace rollin, patio door open with a glass of wine in hand...Heaven! The grounds were immaculate, the pool was warm and inviting, the staff were all so nice. Just a short walk to trails in the mountain. We took the bus to Main Street with ease. Ruth Chris Steakhouse is the main restaurant...enough said. By far the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The Spa is a must! Had an hour facial and enjoyed the Jacuzzi very much. read more

Hotel Park City is nothing short of fabulous and the perfect place for a weekend staycation if you live in the Salt Lake area. Everything about the hotel and the rooms is very warm and inviting, with all the wooden beams, high ceilings and fancy furnishings it feels more like a lodge than a hotel. We stayed in one of the cottages, our room was huge and offered pretty much everything you could ever need, including a large deck with seating, a fireplace and a Jacuzzi. There was a fireplace in the main living area as well as in the separate bedroom too. Our room had a spacious living area, complete with a kitchenette that sported decent counter space, sink, cupboards with glasses, plates etc., utensils, coffee maker, microwave and cooktop. My wife commented you could almost live in one of these as a main home, albeit a fairly compact one! Everything was very nicely furnished, and the views of the golf course and mountains out of the windows and from the deck are nothing short of breathtaking, it's so nice just sitting relaxing in the hot tub of an evening taking in the scenery. My only complaints with the room are minor, such as the bathroom was fairly compact and just a little awkward in its arrangement, especially the setup with the light switches which were placed behind a towel ring, and on a couple of occasions I found myself having to hunt for the switches to turn on the lights. And that brings me to my second complaint...the lighting...no matter how many you turned on, it just never seemed possible to quite get things light enough without opening the shades and of course once the sun goes down your options now are limited! I found myself having to sometimes move things so I could get enough light to find what I was looking for. It didn't detract from the overall experience in any meaningful way, just was a nuisance at times. There is a convenience store right across from the hotel which is very handy, and it's close (walkable) to a grocery and a liquor store. There is also a free shuttle to Main Street (city run, not hotel owned) a very short walk from the lobby. The hotel also has a Ruth Chris steakhouse as one of its amenities. Staff seemed friendly and helpful too and were always asking if their was anything else they could do to assist us. No complaints there. I did wish it had a bar/cocktail area somewhere near the lobby. Bandanas, which is the other dining option here, does serve drinks but its hours are very limited and so it isn't an option for evening or late night drinks, and trying to get here is also quite the adventure. Learning to find your way around in the main complex through the maze of corridors, and sometimes multiple elevator rides, can be an experience until you get used to it, and sometimes you have to go outside which I'm sure doesn't make it much fun during the wintertime. Again though, not a big deal once you gain some familiarity with it, and the staff is always their to help. We will definitely be coming back here in the future, despite a few minor niggles, it's still a great hotel with awesome amenities and a super fun experience all round. read more

The location was excellent as we were able to look at the mountainside in the morning when we woke up. The grounds are immaculate and although we didn't make it into the pool, we were told the pool was heated as well as a very nice hot tub. This is a very late review, but since I was so pleased with this hotel figured I should post this better late than never. Stayed here over the New Years Holiday so Park City was quite busy. The hotel is not a ski in ski out property however they do have a courtesy shuttle to Park City and Deer valley. The only suggestion I would have was to offer more drop offs and pick ups. They also offer equipment storage so you don't have carry everything back to your room which is a definite plus. I cannot say enough about the staff from the front desk, valet, shuttle drivers, staff who stored our equipment, they are all very attentive, friendly and just provided outstanding customer service. The hotel is located within walking distance to the grocery store and liquor store and some restaurants. Although Main Street and ski areas were within a couple miles we either used their shuttle or uber which was very convenient. They also have free underground parking in addition to valet. The hotel itself has a very lodge-like feel. Very spacious lobby and pool area (although it was too cold to go outside). Our executive king suite had a balcony with a great view to the mountains, large sitting or living area, gas fireplace, kitchenette stocked with utensils and cookware even a Keurig coffee marker, large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate large shower. Stayed there this last weekend as my wife and I were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary, and we wanted to get out of the Salt lake Valley and get up to Park City for some fresh air. So I used some of my Marriott points and we spent a night in one of their 3rd floor executive suites...complete with fireplace, kitchenette, washer & dryer, and Jacuzzi tub. It is a beautiful hotel, with a spacious lobby, and a grand ski lodge look-and-feel to it. Our room overlooked the pool and mountains, and it was just a gorgeous view of the quaking aspen and golf course/putting green. The room was in perfect condition, and the king sized bed was excellent. Since we wanted to go to the Park Silly market on Sunday, we asked for and received a late check out time of 3:00 PM (even though we actually checked out around 1:30...) so thanks to the front desk staff for that. My only observations and suggestions for improvement include: 1. Get a cocktail lounge/bar there at the far end of the lobby, and keep it open late! When my wife and I came back from a late movie, we found the entire lobby buttoned up and quiet as a church...but on a Saturday night in July at 11:00 PM...in Park City? That's just not right! A late night lounge for an evening nightcap would have been excellent, but I guess that's not in the cards right now. Hope to see that change soon! 2. Get the staff at Bandana's restaurant some help! We went there for breakfast on Sunday morning, and the place got swamped with customers. Even though service was very slow (I had to get up and get my own coffee refills and ask for the check...), the food was excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves there under the veranda watching the golfers practice their putting. 3. Build an internal hallway from the lobby to Bandanas Restaurant so that customers don't have to go outside to get there (not fun in January!)...or alternately take the "inside passage," by going up one flight of stairs...walking down a long hallway (avoiding the service elevator)...and then taking another elevator down to another hallway to get there. Really? Seems as if someone didn't think this through when designing this hotel years ago. Overall, four stars! Really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the front desk staff, and the beautiful views! Big bathroom, great bed and a living room with kitchenette, fireplace and even a washer and dryer. Western decor fits right in with this fantastic ski town.
