They took her right in and ran tests, found the problem, and admitted her. She was here for 4 days and we family members took turns staying with her. We all were impressed with how attentive, kind, and knowledgeable the doctors and nurses were. (For her privacy, I'm not giving details on her illness or treatment). We also noticed how clean the facility is and how thorough the medical team was with gowns, masks, disinfecting. Mom had her own big room and it was quiet and comfortable. It had big tv with lots of channels which is helpful for not getting bored when you're lying in bed for 4 days. My Mom made a great recovery and is doing quite well now. She said that she felt well taken care of during her stay. Much gratitude to everyone here who helped my Mom recover!

A year later I developed anemia which has become life changing of 7byears with no cause found. 2 years ago my apartment was a mess due to being unable to do anything. The board of health decided I was mentally ill, had my landlord throw everything I owned out ($200,000) and confiscate my cats. I could barely stand, walk or talk. The hospital treated me as a criminal and Timothy Brady verbally abused me during my 4 week stay. I had nowhere to go, so he was going to drop me off at a shelter in my night shirt and slippers. During my stay at the hospital my landlord had my apartment cleaned out and everything thrown away. He even confiscated my car - he had kept asking for money - no I didn't have a lease. I was 66 years old and on SS. I have blamed many started with the Bd of Health but realize it was the incompetence of the doctors who still don't know why I am iron deficient. I lost everything I spent 40 years working for along with family heirlooms, collectibles, antiques, family photos, jewelry and many other things. I see Atlantic health care is all about DEI hiring which explains a lot. I was in the hospital for more iron infusions. My arms developed phlebitis and when I refused the last infusion I was discharged immediately. My arms are bruised, swollen and painful. I now have a heart issue which they are blaming on genetics even though heart issues don't run in my family. My past history of GBS continues to be ignored even though everything started after it. The other night my temp was 101.7 which meant an infection but I am afraid to go back the Newton. I am living in Ibuprofen for the pain. Do Not Go Here if you can avoid it.

What an easy experience from start to finish, and pleasant people !…read more Ladies, you all know that feeling when you wake up to use the restroom and something isn't right. Sure enough, I had the awful feeling Of a UTI. I knew I needed to get in somewhere and fast before the lower back pain started. Admittedly, I called another facility in our area but due to the amount of COVID tests they were doing that day, they were unable to see me. I was scared, upset and felt trapped ... Until I called Skylands and the gentlemen who answered the phone calmed all my concerns and had me come in that day. I was spoken to with such care and support, and was in and out of the office quicker than it took my pharmacy to fill my prescription. Not only that, but the doctor's bedside manner was impeccable and I felt so important and cared for. I've been to a lot of urgent care type places, specifically for UTIs, and none have made me feel as safe, cared for and respected as Skylands Thank you to EVERYONE who works here. While I can't say I will be back (fingers crossed I won't) if I ever find myself in need of care , they will be my first call.

She asked me about insurance information and she told that I can come in next day . when I came on next day, on Saturday the receptionist and nurse practitioner, Aaron rejected to help me initially because they "don't have a surgical supply", and later when I told that I would bring surgical supply and and I have all discharge paperwork where it was indicated that could do it by myself, but because it's on the head, I could not do it. The nurse practitioner Aaron was not very compassion and he told that without order from the surgeon, he cannot change a dressing. As a physician by myself I would consider such behavior of medical staff and unprofessional. I told them that just yesterday I had similar services in another urgent care without any problems. They told me go back to them. I am planning to contact with is a board of medical examiners of state of New Jersey with a complaint for such treatment me as a patient.

I think people are better off going to a CVS with a nurse who gives out penicillin for sore throats, or going to a hospital sponsored urgent care out of the immediate area ADDENDUM: It is 120 pm as I write this, and the office is closed. I was charged a hefty co-pay when I visited. Now I find out from insurance, Skylands was PAID IN FULL. Left a VM for the billing folks. Not holding my breath. I had to visit Skylands Urgen Care in Blairstown, after "my doctor's" office failed to call back, following an urgent message from me (some people are in the wrong line of work). Nurse Cecere is the most professional, attentive, intelligent, caring, knowledgeable provider I've been to in a long time. Her care is compassionate and she prescribed the perfect combination of medications for my symptoms. She even helped resolve a problem with the pharmacy. I love NPs and she is one of the best. She has my gratitude and respect. Obtaining an appointment was easy and the wait was brief.... If the patient portal worked, they would be perfect!... and nobody's perfect ;).

For over 30 years, Dr. Stack has provided the best and most caring services to his clients. My parents, in their 80s were going to a doctor because they were passing a cold back and forth. Their doctor said, "What do you expect? You're old." I said that's enough of that and I took them both to Dr. Stack who treated them. They recovered and NEVER got sick again. Dad lived to 94 and mom to 98.5 years of age. Dr. Stack cares and he is the most thorough and thoughtful doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone even if you have to drive a ways to see him.

No muss no fuss I'm sick I need to get in and out and they do that well for me. I generally get recurrent sinus infections and he doesn't mess around I get a z-pack and some nasal steroids and mucinex and it works every time. He spends a good amount of time with each patient and makes sure all your questions are answered. All of his office staff are pleasant and do their best to accommodate you. They have definitely upgraded within the last year or so, he now holds night hours (I have no idea when this poor guy gets to have a life), and they always had Saturday hours I think they still do. They will take blood at the office for your so physicals are great cuz it's a one stop shop. I needed an extra test once, an EKG and they have a relationship with a group that comes in and runs them out of his office--they called and cleared everything with my insurance for me and I was able to come back a week later to have the test done--again nice and easy. My only concern is that because he is such a good doctor his patient base is HUGE and sometimes it can be rough to get an appt. Be warned, physicals are usually scheduled MONTHS in advance so if you need one don't delay, also when everyone is sick it's a little harder to get in but now with night hours although 10pm might not be preferable when you're sick it's better than having to go to urgent care. He's a great doctor and gets the job done.
